“Steve was awesome and very understanding when an emergency car situation happened! My Puppers was so comfortable with him she actually ate her food the first time she stayed. That never happens. Hoping to use Steve again in the future. Your dog would be happy to spend the day with Steve.”

“Parnika did an amazing job watching my dog, Mex. She was kind, attentive, and kept me updated with messages and photos throughout his stay. “Amy was amazing! She invited us into her home during our initial meeting and our pup immediately felt right at home. Amy took our pup to the dog park, gave him lots of cuddles, and ensured he received his meds in the evening. She sent us plenty of photos throughout the day and was so responsive to texts. We definitely plan to book Amy again! Thank you, Amy!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Diana! They took great care of Tuna, kept us updated with photos and messages throughout the stay, and made sure she was happy, safe, and well cared for. It was clear they genuinely love dogs and paid attention to her needs and routine. When I picked her up, she was relaxed, healthy, and clearly had a great time. We really appreciated the excellent communication and the peace of mind they gave us while we were away. I would absolutely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!”

“Xi and Dun (her pup) hosted Skye very well! Xi shared photos and videos constantly throughout the day! And Dun gave Skye great company and was a great zoomie buddy! Skye is back home from a fun day with them!!”

About: Hi there! I'm Mayank, and while I may spend my days crafting code as a software developer, my heart belongs to the world of wags and wet noses. For as long as I can remember, dogs have held a special place in my life. Unfortunately, my current lifestyle doesn't allow me to have a furry friend of my own just yet. But the truth is, spending time with dogs is like therapy for me. Their unconditional love, playful energy, and constant enthusiasm bring a smile to my face no matter what. That's why I'm thrilled to be offering dog walking and care services! I see it as a win-win: your pup gets the exercise and companionship they crave, while I get my daily dose of doggy delight. I'm not just a dog lover, I'm also a responsible and reliable caregiver. I'm committed to providing your furry friend with a safe, fun, and enriching experience tailored to their needs. Whether it's a daily walk filled with tail-chasing adventures, playtime in the park, or simply some cuddles and belly rubs, I'll ensure your pup feels loved and cared for while you're away. Let's chat and see how I can become your dog's new best walk buddy! Since I don't currently have a dog myself, my schedule is quite flexible to accommodate your pet's needs! Here's how pet care can fit into my routine: Regular Walks & Visits: I'm available for walks, playtime, or check-ins with your pet every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday between 11 AM and 3 PM throughout 2024. This consistent schedule ensures your pet gets the regular care they need. Special Requests: Need a weekday walk or visit outside these times? No problem! Just let me know in advance and I'll be happy to see if it fits with my commitments. I'm always flexible and can look into my schedule to accommodate special cases whenever possible. This flexibility allows me to tailor my services to your pet's needs, whether they require a consistent routine or occasional care. Feel free to reach out and discuss your specific needs! Safety, Trust, and Tailored Care: Where Your Pup Feels at Home Whether your dog joins me for walks in the park or enjoys playtime at your place, safety and trust are my top priorities. Here's how I ensure a positive experience for both you and your furry friend: In Your Home: Meet & Greet: Before our first session, I'll schedule a free consultation to get to know you and your pet. This allows us to discuss your pet's needs, preferences, and any specific instructions. We'll also go through your home environment to ensure it's safe for playtime or walks on leash. Leash Manners & Secure Walks: During walks, I'll always use a secure leash and harness appropriate for your dog's size and temperament. I'm also trained in positive reinforcement techniques to ensure a safe and enjoyable walk for everyone. Clean-up Crew: Accidents happen! I'll always carry clean-up bags and dispose of waste responsibly, leaving your home spotless. Constant Communication: Throughout the visit, I'll keep you updated with pictures and texts, giving you peace of mind and letting you see your pup having a blast. Walks in the Park: Safe Routes & Park Etiquette: I'll choose dog-friendly parks and routes that are well-maintained and appropriate for your dog's activity level. I'm also familiar with park rules and etiquette, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable outing. Hydration & Rest: I'll always carry fresh water and a bowl for your dog to stay hydrated during walks. We'll also take breaks as needed, allowing your pup to rest and explore at their own pace. Socialization (Optional): If you'd like, I can introduce your dog to other friendly pups during walks, promoting positive social interactions. Overall Trust & Comfort: Pet CPR & First Aid Certified: I'm certified in Pet CPR and First Aid, providing an extra layer of security and ensuring I can handle unexpected situations calmly. Background Checked & Insured: Your pet's safety is paramount. I undergo a background check and carry pet-sitting insurance for added peace of mind. Love & Patience: Above all, I treat your dog with the same love and respect I would give my own furry companion. Positive reinforcement and a calm demeanor will ensure your pet feels comfortable and happy throughout our time together. By following these protocols, I can create a safe, trusting, and enjoyable environment for your dog, whether they're exploring the park or relaxing in the familiar comfort of your home.

“Joyce was calm, caring, communicative, flexible, and made my pup feel like part of the family. I was provided updates and photos, and Dublin really welcomed my dog during his time. The space is clean and large and plenty of engagement and attention is given. I will be using Joyce's services again!”

“Fiona was great with my corgi Jasper. Jasper has Addison’s and was a recent owner surrender so I was worried about how he would do. Fiona kept me updated and gave me insights on how to keep Jasper calmer for his next stay. Look forward to staying with them again!”

“Yen and Terry are so amazing! They are always available when we have last minute requests. They provide pictures and videos throughout the day. Angel was spayed recently and we needed someone to watch her while my husband and I had to work in office. They have experience with spayed dogs and knows how to administer medicine so I knew I could trust them to keep an eye on my energetic pup. I am so grateful to have them as Angel’s doggy sitter!”

“Chloe was so sweet and patient with my dogs, Cookie and Olu. She took such good care of them and kept me updated with messages and photos, which made me feel really at ease. You can tell she truly loves and understands dogs. I’m so grateful for her help and would happily book her again! 🐶💛”

About: Our dog Sugar passed away in May 2026 after we had her for 13.5 years. She was our constant companion and now we miss the pitter patter of feet in the house. We're not ready to adopt a dog yet, but we would love to watch dogs for others to bring some life back to our home and to have the chance to spoil a little furry baby again. We took great care of Sugar when we had her. We gave her the best diets as her body changed, brushed her teeth daily, took her on 1-2 walks a day, and brought her on car rides which were her favorite. We gained a lot of experience taking care of her, especially as she aged. We've watched friends' dogs many times and also fostered one pup. We would love to watch yours and give them all the cuddles! We both work from home everyday and always take a walk after lunch if the weather is good. We have a fenced yard where we can let your dog out to potty and sniff all the good smells. Our house has very easy access to the outside with no kid or pets. Dogs can go anywhere in the house and on the furniture if they like that. We can also put up a wall to prevent them from going up the stairs if you prefer. My default is to give updates daily about how they're doing, eating, and pooping, but if you need more or less than that, I can accommodate!
“Tatiana was really communicative about how Lola was doing during her visit which game me a peace of mind while I was away. She and her dogs are so friendly and sweet. I would highly recommend her.”

“I was nervous leaving our new puppy with anyone, but she had a great time. I’ve never seen her so tired! She must have been running around and playing all day :) Will rebook again in the future.”

“Ruoshi was a godsend! I had booked with her for just a day to take a family member to a medical appointment, but during the appointment an emergency came up and my family member had to be admitted to the hospital. Ruoshi went above and beyond to be supportive and flexible, offering to host Sheba overnight and for more than another 24 hours, with no notice. The hospital was far away and to get Sheba more food Ruoshi was even willing to go to petco to pick up the food. Throughout the stay I got timely updates and photos that helped me feel at ease that Sheba was getting good care, attention and having her needs met. Ruoshi was even on top of letting me know Sheba didn’t poop the first day and when she did relax enough to do that. I couldn’t be more grateful for Ruoshis care and grace during this really difficult time. I would give her 20 stars if I could.”

“Asaka and her husband were incredibly kind and flexible! Also, they live in a dog-friendly environment with plenty of grass areas. We asked for DayCare service this time, and they sent us frequent updates, so Iwe felt completely at ease leaving Coco with them. Their pups, Brie and Hana are very calm and gentle. Coco is a picky eater, but they tried multiple times to see if she would eat her meal. We’d like to use their daycare services again!”

“We had a fantastic experience with Jenny and Daniel! They were incredibly kind, communicative, and caring. The photos and updates they sent gave us great peace of mind and showed how much fun our pet was having. We can’t wait to book with them again for future daycare and boarding!”

This was my dog's first daycare experience. Since she was nervous, they paid extra close attention to her and took care of every little detail. I am so happy with how well she was cared for, and I feel so much peace of mind knowing I can trust them to watch her again!

As first time, Rover users, we were nervous about finding care for our two pups. Thankfully we connected with Maryna who was exceptional. At our meet and greet she connected with our dogs and her thoughtful questions and input highlighted her experience and deep understanding. Drop off and pickup were seamless and we appreciated the many pics/updates throughout the day. We already have the next stay booked. Just what we were hoping fo

Asaka and her husband were wonderful! I used them for daycare for my dog Peach, and they were extremely kind and communicative. Very flexible when I was running later than expected, and always responded right away. Asaka sent pictures multiple times throughout the day so I felt very informed and reassured. Asaka even made sure to ask about part of a toy that she found in Peach’s poop out of concern. Totally went above and beyond, and Peach came back happy and tired every time. I’ll definitely be returning for daycare and boarding!

Sreymom is our favorite dog sitter. Coco always seems happy to visit and comfortable. This was the first time we had Coco stay long enough to need dinner and his medicine and Sreymom not only did an excellent job, she sent us videos to show that he had gotten his medicine and food on time.

Ryan was wonderful and took excellent care of our girls! He followed their individual feeding instructions carefully and was communicative with updates, photos and any questions during their stay with him. He took them for a couple walks at our request and was very flexible about pickup and dropoff. We could tell the dogs had a great time! They seem to love Ryan and his house. After we picked them up they were happy and not stressed at all which is saying a lot. Highly recommend Ryan as a sitter.

Ryan is great! He is super flexible and takes such great care of my little anxious dog. He provides tons of updates and is super responsive any time I message him. My dog is thrilled every time she gets to hang out with him, she literally sprints to the door. Would absolutely recommend him!

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
