About: Hi! My name is Reivia, and I have over 8 years of experience providing loving, reliable dog daycare and boarding services. I have hands-on experience caring for a variety of breeds, including Alaskan Malamutes, Pekingese, and Shih Tzus. I treat every dog like family, providing a safe, fun, and comfortable environment tailored to their unique personalities and needs. I'm a full-time stay-at-home person, so your dog will receive plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. My daily routine includes grocery runs and walks near the beach, giving your pup lots of opportunities for exercise, fresh air, and fun. I live in 1,000 sq ft apartment. The apartment has a fenced small dog park and also a big public dog park across of the apartment. I have AC in my apartment.
“Qiaohui did an amazing job with Owen. She sent us a ton of pics throughout the day, and it was great to be able to see Owen playing with his pup friends:) Drop off/pick up was very easy, and I am very grateful to have found a safe and fun place for Owen to stay ☺️”

“We're so happy to have found Lorena! Our trusted sitter was unable to sit any longer and we scoured Rover to find Lorena. She is in tune with the pups, kind, thoughtful and has a very relaxed environment for the pups. Bear loved his visit and we're ecstatic to have found a loving environment for him.”

“Emmanuel and Sonia were so welcoming to Coco. We are lucky to have found them. Coco enjoyed his daycare very much. Highly recommend Sonia and Emmanuel.”

“We were visiting our son in Seattle, and needed a safe place for our pup to go while we did some non dog-friendly activities. This was a last minute booking, but Tunyi graciously agreed for us to have a meet and greet and determine compatibility. Our dog was a bit nervous, and showed a little aggression when she first met Tunyi’s dog and the other Rover guest. After a few minutes everyone calmed down, and we were assured that our dog would do fine with them. We received photos and videos throughout the day showing that our dog was doing quite well. We enjoyed a wonderful day, and believe she did as well. We would not hesitate to use Tunyi again, and would highly recommend her to anyone.”

“First time with Noah and Tess. I’m so glad to have found them. Perky was very happy when first entering their home. I appreciate the pics and the friendly Welcome. I’ll be asking again in the future.”

“Hugo had a blast! Deeply appreciated the great care that was provided. Hugo also had a great time with Chewy. Also appreciated the dog supplies that Estephania gave me. Will plan to book with Estephania in the future!”

About: I work from home and love dogs and cats! However I cannot have my own at this time. I have experience taking care of both dogs and cats, having had both. In my free time, I used to volunteer taking dogs from a nearby shelter for walks, I find it personally just very rewarding (and great exercise)! Because I work from my home, I can be more flexible with my schedule. I live next to the Burke Gilman trail and love to take walks. I am active as a person (swimming, running, water polo) and can help get those energetic doggos get moving! Since I work from home I can manage my schedule (more flexibility) and can either walk dogs in the afternoons or evenings. Weekends can be more flexible depending on the weekend. I have a fenced yard with a great outdoor space. I also live close to the Burke Gilman trail and love walking to Matthews Beach park or Meadowbrook park. I have a car so can drive to other destinations.

“Michelle and Brian are the best! I had a last minute request for a play date with Ari and they were quick to accept. Oakley had a great day with his new best friend!”

“Annie had doggy friends to play with and came home content and tired and excited to go back the next day. I’m from out of state and pick up and drop off was easy and flexible which was really helpful for us too.”

“Our dog had a great day at Amy and Shelby's house. She loved hanging out with them and their family, and came home clean and tired. Looking forward to her next visit!”

“Yen did an awesome job with my one year old Chocolate Lab. He has plenty of energy and very loving. He came home from daycare and was snoring. He loved playing with other dogs. Yen kept Me updated throughout the day with photos and how he was doing. Great work!”

“Hire Jc & Anh to take care of your dog, you'll be happy you did! They are attentive, caring, active people. This means your dog comes home happy and tired! Jc & Anh took great care of my Boston Terrier, Reuben. Reuben is a very high-energy dog who is most happy with lots of activity. He also typically plays very actively with other dogs that he is around. As a result, I try to be careful to find a sufficiently good match both in who is watching him and the dogs he'll be with. Honestly, I was a little concerned at first. Reuben tends to do better with larger, more playful dogs. They had two little Bichon Frise's. I figured it wasn't going to go well, but I would try. During our Meet & Greet, there was a little bit of friction between the Reuben and the other dogs. But, Jc & Anh took it in stride, managing the dogs so that they would be safe. After a while of us both working with them a bit, we decided to give it a shot. I think the key was that Jc & Any took all of the dogs out for a very long walk (~1.5 hours!). That let the dogs get to know each other and it tired them out. I got pictures throughout the day and Reuben was doing great. When I picked Reuben up, he was very happy and well mannered. I love it when my Reuben is tired at the end of a day! I will absolutely ask them to take care of Reuben again in the future!”

“Virginie is wonderful. She provides excellent care to Sienna. She is very responsible and kind. I trust her completely. Sienna and Tiptoe are great friends and are always very excited to see each other.”

“Wilbur had a wonderful time with Katherine and Hana. It usually takes him some time to settle into a new space but he really seemed to feel at home. We are looking forward to next time!”

“It was such a pleasure to leave Bunny with Karina. Bunny loves outdoors and she made sure he had a lot of outdoor/walk time. She was flexible about my drop off time of 6/6:30am- that was specially helpful on a work day.”

About: I have nearly 7 years of hands-on pet care experience as a cat owner and almost 2 years as a dog owner. In addition to caring for my own pets daily, I’ve also occasionally helped care for friends’ pets, including feeding, playtime, and general supervision. While I may not have professional pet-sitting experience yet, I bring something just as important: daily, real-life experience as a responsible and loving pet parent. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I take that responsibility very seriously. I’m comfortable with: • Dogs and cats • Daily feeding routines • Playtime and enrichment • Basic leash walking • Monitoring pets’ behavior and comfort • Providing companionship and affection Because I’m home most of the day, pets are never left alone for long periods and can enjoy frequent check-ins, potty breaks, and attention. I work remotely full-time, so I’m home throughout the day and available to provide consistent attention, supervision, and care. I’m available for pet care Monday through Sunday, including weekdays and weekends. Since I have a dog and a cat at home, I already: • Feed my dog and cat daily • Schedule regular playtime and interaction • Take breaks throughout the day to check on pets • Adjust my schedule around pets’ needs Your pet would be part of my normal day — not an afterthought. I’m able to adapt to different routines, whether your pet is energetic and playful or more relaxed and independent. My home is pet-friendly, calm, and welcoming: • Two-story house with plenty of space • Fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play and potty breaks • Multiple dog crates available, which can be used upon request for crate-trained dogs or for added comfort • Clean, comfortable areas for resting • Close supervision and gentle care I follow your instructions carefully when it comes to feeding schedules, routines, and preferences. My goal is to help your pet feel safe, loved, and as comfortable as possible, just like they would at home.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
