About: I started house and pet sitting at age 16 when neighbors started asking me to watch their pets. My first gig was actually for a rabbit, but since then I've worked with dogs and cats. I have taken care of old dogs who required several medications, cats with kidney and digestive issues, and even a poor young dog who experienced seizures. I currently work full-time at a hotel in Bellevue. My schedule includes odd hours such as early morning and late evening shifts on weekdays and weekends. This leaves me availability during business hours to pick up dog walks, drop in visits, and watch animals that can be left for 8 hours if necessary. I do not have a home myself to offer to pets, but when in a client's home I will care for pets as their owner asks me to. In addition to specific owner instruction, I will pay close attention to pets, feed and water them, take them on walks in the case of dogs, and play with or pet them.
“Louise was great with my scaredy cat, Butters. My cat has diabetes and is on a strict routine. Louise is reliable and replies to messages very quickly. Butters was very well taken care of.”

“Natalia is fabulous! Our family went on a two week international trip and had to leave our cat home alone. We were a bit nervous leaving our fur baby to the care of a stranger for so long, especially since this was our first time using Rover. But Natalia quickly put my worries to ease. She sent us so many adorable pictures, and gave us thorough updates on how he was adjusting. My family looked forward to our daily report cards. Natalia is great with communication, and followed all of our instructions. She was so easy to work with. I highly recommend her! We will definitely reach out to her again for future pet sitting needs.”

“Rebekah and Breda are so great. This was our first drop-in visit, after a meet and greet a couple weeks ago. They are so quick and responsive and be sure to be considerate of all the needs of our girls. They sent lots of pictures and gave us an update about how the girls were doing. We are so excited to have found two people we feel we can trust so easily with our girls and not have to worry at all. They are amazing to work with so far and we can’t wait to book them again!”

“Our dog loves to hangout with Shana for her drop in visits. Shana is always above and beyond in communication and her friendly and calm energy is great match for our high energy dog!”

About: As the owner of a 90 pound pit bull, I know firsthand that every dog has their own personality, needs, and comfort level. I have experience with big dogs, strong personalities, and pups who need a little extra patience, understanding, and consistency. I don’t believe every dog needs the same approach. Some dogs need an adventure, some need a slower sniff-filled walk, and some just need someone calm and consistent who will take the time to earn their trust. I’m an active person who genuinely enjoys being outside, so walks aren’t just a task - they’re something I truly look forward to. My goal is to give your dog the care, attention, and confidence they need while giving you one less thing to worry about. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to prioritize pet care and give each dog the attention they deserve. I’m intentional about creating a consistent schedule and providing reliable care, whether your dog needs a midday walk, regular exercise, or a little extra companionship while you’re away. I treat every dog and home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. My dog Gary is basically my child, so I understand that leaving your dog with someone else is a big deal. I know how important it is to create a calm, safe environment and take the time to understand each dog’s personality, boundaries, and routines. I follow your instructions closely, whether that means sticking to feeding schedules, respecting your dog’s comfort level, managing interactions with other dogs, or providing a familiar routine while you’re away. My goal is for your dog to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for, and for you to have complete peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands.
“Courtney is so helpful with my puppy, Claude. She’s extremely communicative and punctual, and my dog loves her. She went above and beyond what I expected and I feel that all my dogs needs were met. Claude can’t wait to see Courtney again 🐶”

About: I have always had some kind of pet growing up and am so happy with that fact! Whether it be bird, turtle, fish, hamster, or more cats and dogs than I can count I have either owned them or taken care of them. I have experience with all walks of life from fresh to life to the could retire in human years stages. I also have experience in keeping to medication schedules and working around allergies and diets during mealtimes. I also have worked with highly-reactive dogs and am more than willing to put in the time and effort so they are comfortable with me as well as have the skills to help them work through stressful moments. I absolutely cannot wait to meet your pets and help you support them as best I can. I currently work several seasonal jobs so I am super available during the off seasons. I am open for walks or check-ins from 10am-6pm Tuesdays-Sundays and I am available for house sitting on a short notice. I always make sure that your pet’s safety and care is my top priority. For walks I love sticking to areas around the house the pet is already comfortable in or if you and the pet are ok with it going on a bit of an adventure in my car to a local dog park or walking area. If I am staying at your house I always aim to stick to the animals normal schedule, including mealtimes and walk times, to ensure that they are disrupted as little as possible and still feel safe.
“Caroline was lovely and kind with our cat, Gaogao, while we were away for two days. Before the first drop-in visit, we had a meet-and-greet session to walk through Gaogao’s routine and any things to watch out for. She did a great job keeping Gaogao well-fed, entertained, and safe. Caroline always kept us updated on her arrival times and sent plenty of photos and updates about Gaogao. Gaogao was always happy to see her, cuddle with her, and play together. Caroline also kept Gaogao’s space nice and tidy, she always cleaned the wet food bowls and the floor near the litter box. Gaogao tends to make a bit of a mess there. Thank you, Caroline, for taking such good care of Gaogao and giving us peace of mind while we were away!”

“Kimberly is great! She’s easy to work with and very capable. While there were no issues here, I feel like she could handle anything. I appreciate her timely and good communication style. Thumbs up!”

“Arwen did a great job taking care of our kitten while we were on vacation. You can tell she has a real knack for working with animals and our kitten seemed to love her visits.”
“Madeleine was amazing watching our cats. We went away for a couple weeks and it was so hard for us to leave the kitties, but we couldn't have asked for someone better to look after them. She gave updates and pictures with every visit which made it a little easier to be away from them.”

“Anastasia did an excellent job of taking care of my two kitties. She gave detailed reports and sent lovely pictures! She followed all my instructions including playing with and brushing both of my purr-babies! I will book her again in the future!”

“Edie was responsive, timely, pleasant and professional. I loved her communication and reports from her visits. I would definitively use her again. My pups were very happy and obviously enjoyed her company.”

“Kathryn dropped by twice a day for 3 days and took amazing care of our 3 cats. She even got out shyest cat to play! She cleaned after them and followed our instructions. She was very professional and sweet with the kitties”

“I just want to give a huge shout-out to Miranda! She did such an awesome job taking care of Luna and kept me updated the whole time. I appreciated all the love and attention she gave my little fur baby. Knowing Luna was in such great hands while I was away made my trip so much easier. Thank you, Miranda! You’re the best!”

“Shawn took amazing care of our cat Nori. She was able to quickly build trust with our cat who can be a bit shy. She provided great communications through her check ins and Nori really enjoyed playing with her. I would not hesitate to have her take care of our cat again!”

About: I have years of volunteering experiences in animal shelters. I used to run with shelter dogs to keep them in good shape, and clean cat dorms and care for kittens. I work flexible hours, and would love to play/walk/sit with your furry guys/gals. I am an Engineer and work fulltime. I would love to spend my evenings, early mornings and weekends with furry friends. Also looking for hiking/running buddy with a tail. I have a fenced backyard for dogs to run and poop and large first floor for them to rest and sleep (see last few pictures). Please show recent vaccination proof for daycare and boarding. I have two well socialized kittens living upstairs but they won’t meet yours :).

Giselle was wonderful with Bruno! He trusted her immediately. She was very attentive, caring, and made sure he was well taken care of while I was away. She kept me updated and gave me peace of mind knowing Bruno was in good hands. I really appreciated the care and attention she gave him, and I would definitely recommend Giselle to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful sitter. I’d happily book with her again! 😊🐾

We had a fantastic experience, highly recommend this pet sitter! Instructions were followed carefully and they took excellent care of our cat. Everything went smoothly, and we had peace of mind knowing our cat was well cared for. We'll definitely be booking with them again in the future. Thank you!
Teresa is easily the best sitter we've ever had and it shows when our cats are excited to see her - especially our shy one who hides from my mom when she cat sits, but plays with Teresa! We have total trust and confidence in Teresa, which takes away a lot of the stress we have about leaving the cats alone. She's the best!
Laurel was very nice and attentive about our Cats. She truly did care about the wellbeing and health of all three. She went above and beyond with her services. She made sure all cats were comfortable. Apparently, our cat Tubbs likes to be groomed with the brush she left us (we have been through so many and he hated them all!) Needless to say, we will be booking with Laurel again!

Kimberly took wonderfully care of our elderly cat while we were away. I loved her daily updates , photos and report cards. They gave me peace of mind and it was clear she genuinely cared about our girl. I look forward to booking our next trip knowing our furball is in such great hands. Definitely 5 stars!

Jacob is a fantastic sitter! I have to do a last minute booking and he was very flexible to help. He did a great job watching my two young cats for a couple of days. He was on time, sent me great pictures and detailed notes. My cats warmed up to him quickly since he is a sweet person. I can trust Jacob with my cats and home…Thank you Jacob!

Shana was amazing with our 2 cats!! I cannot recommend her enough. She followed all instructions, was super accommodating with last minute changes, and provided detailed updates. Both cats got a lot of play time too, which was super important to us. Shana, thank you so much for all your help!! Cats were healthy and happy when we got home. 😻

I cannot recommend Jessilea and her daughter, Leandra, highly enough! They took exceptional care of our two cats, Saba and Uni, while we were away. Uni is extremely shy, has anxiety, and requires daily medication, which can be quite challenging. Jessilea and Leandra were incredibly patient, creative, and gentle in finding ways to earn his trust and successfully give him his medication every single day. That alone gave us tremendous peace of mind. It was obvious from the start that they truly love cats and are very knowledgeable about feline behavior. They didn’t just feed and care for them, they spent quality time playing with them, brushing them, and making sure they felt comfortable and loved. Leaving your pets behind is never easy, but knowing they were in such caring and capable hands made all the difference. Jessilea and Leandra did a fantastic job, and we will absolutely hire them again. I recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for trustworthy, compassionate, and experienced cat sitters!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
