Before care begins, I like to learn as much as possible about your cat’s personality, daily routine, feeding and litter setup, medical history, medications, behavioral quirks, and any fears or sensitivities. Knowing their preferences, favorite hiding spots, and stress triggers allows me to provide thoughtful, individualized care. An in-person meet & greet is required before the first scheduled visit. This allows me to review routines, locate supplies, discuss emergency contacts, observe your cat’s behavior in their environment, and ensure everything is set up for a safe, smooth, and stress-free experience while you’re away. I am fluent in both English and Portuguese, and I’m happy to communicate in whichever language you’re most comfortable with. Cats should not be left without daily check-ins. The only exception is when a trusted family member or friend is visiting on the days I am not scheduled. ⸻ ⏰ Visit Time Windows If your cat requires visits at specific times (for medications or special needs), please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate. If no specific time is requested: • 1 visit/day: between 8am – 5pm • 2+ visits/day: Morning: 8am – 11am Afternoon/Evening: 3pm – 8pm Time windows may vary slightly during high-demand periods. ⸻ 🏠 Meet & Greet Required To provide the best care possible, I begin with a virtual (Zoom) consultation, followed by a separately scheduled in-person meet & greet. This allows us to thoroughly discuss your cat’s needs and ensure everything is set up for a smooth, stress-free experience. This allows me to: • Meet you and your cat(s) • Understand their routine, preferences, and any medical needs • Ensure your cat feels safe, comfortable, and relaxed in my care I do not accept new clients without an in-person meeting prior to the first visit. ⸻ 👥 Team Support During high-demand periods, I work with three trusted cat sitters who are personally trained by me. I remain the primary caregiver, and any team member follows the same care standards and routines I provide. 1000% recommend Samanta! I was nervous since it was the first time being away from our 10mo old bengal along with our 15yr old bengal but from day 1 Samanta set my worries aside. She won both of my cats over! She gave very detailed updates each day on their eating, behavior, litter routine, playtime. Lots of pictures and videos which we loved! When we came home both kitties were perfectly happy - I think they were wondering where was Samanta lol. It was also so nice to come back to everything taken care of after the late flight in - she even prepped for the next day which I sooo appreciated. I will definitely seek her out the next time we’re out of town to take care of our kitties!!
