“Maria was amazing with Benson! Kind, reliable, and so easy to communicate with. Benson was always happy to see her, which says everything. We’re so grateful to have found her and can’t wait to have her walk Benson again!”

About: I started house and pet sitting at age 16 when neighbors started asking me to watch their pets. My first gig was actually for a rabbit, but since then I've worked with dogs and cats. I have taken care of old dogs who required several medications, cats with kidney and digestive issues, and even a poor young dog who experienced seizures. I am a recent college graduate, so as can be expected I am currently unemployed and on the job hunt! I currently have all the time in the world which is subject to change depending on if I find a part-time or full-time job in the coming months. I do not have a home myself to offer to pets, but when in a client's home I will care for pets as their owner asks me to. In addition to specific owner instruction, I will pay close attention to pets, feed and water them, take them on walks in the case of dogs, and play with or pet them.
“Natalia was an absolutely amazing person who was always willing to walk our dog and hang out with our cats. Our schedule constantly changed and Natalia was always willing to help out and adjust. Natalia moved recently and our location is now too far. A bummer because we lost such a valuable member to our pets lives!”

“Ziyan is fantastic! She is reliable and clearly likes dogs. It gives me such peace of mind knowing my dog is getting great exercise and care. Amber is also a great buddy for my dog. I highly recommend her service!”

About: I experience with a wide variety of animals and personalities. I’ve cared for everything from dogs and cats to rodents, reptiles, birds, and even farm animals. I grew up surrounded by animals and even helped run a small petting zoo with goats, chickens, rabbits, and a tortoise when I was younger. I’ve also worked alongside veterinary offices and rescues, caring for cats and rabbits. For the past year, I’ve been dog sitting and walking regularly, and I’m comfortable with large breeds, puppies, high energy dogs, and senior pets who need a gentler approach. I’m very patient, pay close attention to behavior, and always follow care instructions carefully to keep pets safe and comfortable. Pet care is basically my daily routine, and I make it a priority to be reliable, flexible and consistent for every pet I care for. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, and house rules. I’m very mindful of safety making sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure at all times. I also pay close attention to each pet’s behavior so I can quickly notice if something seems off. I respect your home and keep things clean and organized while you’re away. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.
“Shawn was excellent and very attentive to Louie's needs. She took extra care and time to ensure he was comfortable and having fun. She was also very communicative, so we were always at ease since we were never left guessing about any details.”

“Hope really helped us in a pinch when our daughter was born, and our dog needed more attention and walks than we could give. She was great at communicating and was very patient with us. Thank you, Hope!”

About: Hello! I am in my 30’s and my first cat adopted me when I was just a year old. The first time a stray dog followed me to his furever home, I was seven. I’m a love of dogs, cats, and anything in between! I have extensive experience with cats, from fostering semi-feral felines to volunteering for years with the Seattle Animal Shelter. I am comfortable with sensitive cats, skilled at administering medications, and a majority of my regular clients have cats who tend to be aggressive with strangers. Your cat can’t scare me; scouts honor! I have mid-level experience with dogs. I have fostered reactive dogs in the past, utilizing distractions and redirection when on walks. I often become the pet sitter for those dogs when they’re either reunited with family or find their new home. I’m the type of person dogs make eye contact with from a distance, and I always request permission from dog parents before inviting the dog to be pet. My pet sitting includes overnight l, boarding and attentive drop-ins. I don’t board more than one pet at a time (unless they’re from the same household). It’s important for me to ensure that a pet feels loved when their family is away, and I am often thanked for treating someone’s pet as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furbaby(ies)! I am a full-time professional pet sitter. This means that I can give your pet customized care and can be with them for extended periods of time! Every pet is different, and my schedule is flexible — let’s compare your needs to my calendar and go from there! Trust is rarely immediate and must be built with time. I take a slow approach with pets when I enter your home, making sure to keep in mind that I am a guest in their space. I always remove my shoes when entering a home, and I like to place them in an area where your pet(s) can inspect them. This is an excellent way for them to get to know me. Shy cats often love to stick their faces in my boots! I do the same with any bag that I bring, and sometimes (for cats or critters) I will remove the objects from my bag so that they can inspect them individually. While an animal and I are getting to know each other, I always ask them for permission to pet them by providing my hand in an unthreatening manner. I like to use a low, calm voice. For shy pets, I limit direct engagement, so they can get adjust to my presence. If a pet is hiding, I’ll often read aloud to them during my visit. You know your pet best; if there is any specific approach that you’d prefer I take, I am happy to do so!

About: I have always had dogs ever since I was a baby and I love spending time with them and giving them all the love and attention they need! I grew up with a bull mastiff named belle and took care of her even in her older age and I currently have 2 golden retrievers who are around 6 years old but I helped take care of them when they were puppies as well. I feel comfortable helping senior dogs with any medicine, help moving, or anything else they may need and I'm super comfortable and patient with puppies! I also have 2 cats and have also been around cats since I was a baby and love taking care of them as well! I love playing and being around big dogs but small is great too! :) I am currently a high school senior but I do online classes through running start so I am pretty much home all day and I go away for practice later in the day but I honestly have a pretty open and free schedule during the week! Since I have a flexible schedule with school I am able to stay for a while if your animal needs extra attention or company! I feel very comfortable and confident taking care of dogs since I have always been around them growing up. My mom and me also run a rover business boarding dogs at our house for the last few years as well so I have gotten to take care of lots of different kind of dogs! I really love dogs and cats and it would be a really amazing and fun opportunity for me to help take care of your cats and pups! :)
“Joann is amazing with our young, energetic pup. She takes him for nice, long walks and is conscientious about when to keep him from other dogs. We are so grateful for Joann!”

“So glad we found Paola! She is great with communication and was so prepared - I felt totally comfortable leaving my dog in her care. My dog came back so happy!”

“Pepper enjoyed her walk with Jean. When Pepper arrived home she was calm, usually she is jumping all over me. Jean was punctual. It’s a pleasure working with her. I’m planning on booking her again.”

“Miranda was amazing! She was happy to do a meet and greet before her first walk with my dog, Roo, and was so genuine with her interest in connecting with her. She took her time with my hesitant pup and ended up taking her on a longer walk. I’m so appreciative, I’ll definitely book Miranda again and I’m sure Roo will be happy to see her.”
About: Please call me Pank! I am a genuine dog lover. I have been blessed with numerous amazing dogs my entire life, ranging from Huskies, Beagles, English cocker spaniels, English sheepdog, Bernese mountain dog and Rescues. I have also fostered a Chihuahua-mix once. I’m in Kirkland and I work from home Mon-Fri, so my schedule is pretty flexible. 😊 During my care, I will give your dog lots of love and stay with your dog the whole time as safety is my priority. I enjoy teaching tricks, dog-walking, play time and/ or relaxing time at home, depending on your pup needs. I am happy to work with you on your fur-baby’s needs to make sure you guys have a happy, safe and healthy stay with me. I am working at home full-time and my work hour is flexible, so I can manage to walk your dog as often as he or she needs. About: I have always had some kind of pet growing up and am so happy with that fact! Whether it be bird, turtle, fish, hamster, or more cats and dogs than I can count I have either owned them or taken care of them. I have experience with all walks of life from fresh to life to the could retire in human years stages. I also have experience in keeping to medication schedules and working around allergies and diets during mealtimes. I also have worked with highly-reactive dogs and am more than willing to put in the time and effort so they are comfortable with me as well as have the skills to help them work through stressful moments. I absolutely cannot wait to meet your pets and help you support them as best I can. I currently work several seasonal jobs so I am super available during the off seasons. I am open for walks or check-ins from 10am-6pm Tuesdays-Sundays and I am available for house sitting on a short notice. I always make sure that your pet’s safety and care is my top priority. For walks I love sticking to areas around the house the pet is already comfortable in or if you and the pet are ok with it going on a bit of an adventure in my car to a local dog park or walking area. If I am staying at your house I always aim to stick to the animals normal schedule, including mealtimes and walk times, to ensure that they are disrupted as little as possible and still feel safe.
Inglewood-Finn Hill dog parents share their Rover experiences
Blake has been absolutely amazing with our dog, Benson. From day one, it was clear how much he genuinely cares about the dogs he works with. Benson gets so excited every time Blake comes by, which says everything. Blake is reliable, communicative, and goes above and beyond to make sure Benson is well taken care of and happy. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. Anyone who hires Blake will be incredibly happy, we can’t recommend him enough!

We reached Robin only a couple of days before we needed to have some come to walk our boy, Bandit. She was able to do schedule a last minute meet and greet, which gave a lot of peace of mind. Her family did a great job with Bandit, they were very understanding of Bandit's excitement and were able to handle his over zealous attitude (pulling and jumping). Would definitely recommend using them to get some exercise for fur babies.

We’re so grateful she was able to help us out last minute with walking our dog Benson. She was incredibly friendly, easy to communicate with, and very reliable. It gave us a lot of peace of mind knowing Benson was in good hands. We really appreciated her flexibility and kindness and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to help with their pup!

Natalia began walking our dog, Obi, when he was 7 months old. She walked him for about 7 months almost every weekday. The love and joy she had working with our dog showed in the pictures she sent us as well as the comments from neighbors who periodically met her on walks. Natalia was communicative and responsive. She was an absolute pleasure to work with, and we would’ve continued with her forever if she hadn’t moved away from our neighborhood. She has a wonderful connection with animals, getting to know their personalities and deeply caring about their well-being. She even befriended our cats who came down to visit her as well. I highly recommend Natalia for any pet needs you might have. She is an absolute gem.

We are SO glad to have found Jill, who has graciously and enthusiastically jumped in to help us with some regular, weekly dog walks. Jill was eager to understand Stella's preferences, quirks and habits; patient in letting Stella take her time adjusting to a new "handler"; and generous in giving lots of love and encouragement. Unsurprisingly, Stella took to her immediately and is now beyond excited when Jill arrives. We're excited to continue utilizing her excellent services!!

This was our first time using Laura, and she was absolutely wonderful. She is the sweetest, and we felt comfortable right away. We have a pup who can get anxious when meeting new people, and she took to Laura immediately which says everything. Laura was incredibly kind, patient, and clearly great with dogs. She’s also very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the process. We’re so happy we found her and will definitely be booking with her again. Highly recommend!

Jessica was very nice and communicated with me very well. My first time using Rover and she kindfully answered all my questions which made me feel a lot better. She updated me every step of the way and sent me pictures which was very appreciated. Definetly recommend.
