I very much appreciated the meet and greet with Lena, and the initial discussion, and letting Leo explore the yard and part of the house. He did well at the actual dropoff and from what I could tell, had a good time overall. He came back clean and happy. “Tuffy had such a great time Sunmee, Patrick and Conan. Tuffy had a bike versus 4 lb dog accident the day before he drop off date and he was sore and bruised. They took great care of him and he healed up in a couple of days. Their backyard was perfect for Tuffy and he didn’t want to come in. Tuffy would read with Conan at night and tuffy loves playing with Conan. They made Tuffy a part of their family and he was well taken care of. Thank you so much for your compassionate care of Tuffy!”

About: I grew up taking care of my Lhasa Apso. I used to dog sit for my employer who had a minature Shih Tzu. I would take her everywhere with me. I had a Dachshund in my 30’s. I’ve been around animals since I was about 10 years old, including golden retrievers, labs, and cats, and I often ask to say hello when I see a furry friend out and about. I welcome different temperaments and adjust myself to meet them where they’re comfortable. I genuinely enjoy being around animals and aim to provide calm, attentive, and loving care so fur babies feel secure, seen, and cared for while their best friend is away. I am available all days of the week, between 9:00 am-6:00 pm, can provide overnight care, please send me a message. (Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat) The goal is calm, consistency, and reading pet cues. 1. Follow their routine exactly Pets feel safest with predictability. Feed at the same times Use the same food amounts and bowls Keep walks/playtime similar to what they’re used to Even small changes can make sensitive pets anxious. 2. Do a careful first check-in When I arrive: I look for water level, food, accidents, or damage I observe their behavior (hiding, excited, nervous, clingy) I let them come to me rather than forcing interaction. 3. I arrive with a calm presence Many pets don’t need constant stimulation, they need steady companionship. I prefer to sit quietly near them, talk softly and let shy pets approach me on their terms 4. Exercise + enrichment (tailored to each pet) Dogs: walks, sniff time, fetch (if they enjoy it) Cats: wand toys, gentle play, window time I may suggest to keep sessions short if they get overstimulated 5. I like to help keep the home clean and safe by scooping litter boxes daily (sometimes twice per day), pick up wrappers or food items immediately, wipe paws if needed after walks, and keep doors locked and secure at all times 6. Respect their boundaries This is a big one for trust: I try not to force picking up or petting and watch for signs like tail flicking, hiding, freezing, or overstimulation. I let them decompress alone if needed. 7. I love the saying, “Leave things better than you found them” My fur friends owners say they appreciate: Clean bowls and litter areas, a tidy feeding/walking area, and the notes about how they did during the visit 8. I communicate clearly Send updates like: “Fed, walked, and doing well,” Photos (if allowed) and any changes in behavior or appetite

“Noela is a rock star! Lily generally does not feel comfortable in new spaces, but she felt right at home when arriving at Noela's home. Usually Lily just sits by the front door indicating that she can't wait to leave, but she was relaxed and felt right at home immediately. Lily is sensitive to thunder and fireworks and apparently some kids were setting some off while we were gone, and Noela was very creative in making Lily comfortable! We will definitely use Noela again!”
