I’ve found the services provided on here have been a hit or miss and hope to be able to provide consistent and reliable pet care for my clients for the safety of the pet and peace of mind for their owners.

I have a fenced in yard and a 6 year old mutt my wife and I rescued. He is well trained and disciplined. Given his size (80lbs), out of an abundance of caution, I will not be taking any dogs under 20lbs.

Please let me know any and all pertinent information about your dog. My goal is to ensure the dog is in the best environment and would appreciate any information that you feel would help me provide a safe and comfortable space for your dog. I require a meet and greet prior to taking on any pet.
A typical day
For drop in visits, I aim to not only ensure that your pet is safe and has the necessary food and hydration and is able to step outside to relieve themselves, but also that they have some time to enjoy human interaction. For walks, I aim to not only provide exercise and an opportunity for the pet to relieve themselves, but also focus on reinforcing good leash habits. And for doggy daycare, I aim to provide the pet with a mix of fun activity (long walks, off leash time in the backyard (or at a local park if allowed), and of course time to rest after running off steam. I would also reinforce good habits and look to assist in instilling some where applicable.

My goal is to provide a dog care experience like no other! With experience in basic dog training coupled with my deep love for animals, I bring a unique blend of skills and qualities to the table. I'm equipped to handle a variety of behavioral needs and ensure your dog feels safe and comfortable in my care. Whether it's teaching basic commands or addressing specific behavioral issues, I approach every interaction with compassion and understanding. I am currently restricting my day care and boarding services to dogs between 25 and 100 pounds. Explanation of prices: I spend significant time and energy into providing exceptional care and attention pets during all of my services. My prices reflect this dedication.

Akiva has been an amazing walker for Nobu! Nobu is always so excited to head out when Akiva rings our doorbell, and comes back tired and happy each time.
Akiva has been a fantastic friend and walker to our Blue Heeler puppy. She absolutely adores him because he makes walks fun, positive, and rewarding. We’re grateful for his calm and confident presence and positive reinforcement. Our dog can be very stubborn and he is always patient with her and with us. She gets so excited to see him and it’s a huge relief to us that she’s in capable and thoughtful hands. We highly recommend Akiva!
Akiva has been a great option for weekly daycare for Shiloh. He’s incredibly attentive to Shiloh’s needs and ensures Shiloh is well stimulated and has a fun time. He is even helping with some training here and there which helps us continue our work at home. Highly recommend!
Akiva would be a great choice if you are looking for a mature, experienced dog handler. Someone who is always aware of the surroundings and your pets needs. Someone who listens and follows directions and can make adult decisions. Highly recommend Akiva for your pet care.
