“Butters came back happy and tired. They kept us informed with a lot of pictures and videos. They had multiple dogs at the place which i think makes it fun ! they took good care of him”

“This was my first time dropping Theo to Anping. Anping was responsive, when i had requested to book with him and he immediately shared a video of his neighbourhood and where theo will be. He shared plenty of photos and videos through the day which made me so comfortable. He followed my instructions well, he also went extra and took theo to play frisbee which my dog loves as he is an active breed. Theo loved his stay with Anping and we will definitely recommend and will be returning to him when we want help”

“Vanessa is awesome. She was so loving with Riley and sent pictures and updates throughout. As soon as I met her I could tell that she would take great care... extremely warm and kind. I felt totally comfortable with her as Riley's sitter!”

“Jay and Xinyu were amazing. Right from the meet and greet, they had set a very reassuring tone to our expectations. They were meticulous about taking notes about Maya's needs and requirements. Maya had such an amazing time with them and she was very well taken care of. They are DEFINITELY dog people. They also sent us regular updates and were very communicative. Will definitely reach out to them again whenever travels come up. Thank you guys!!!”

“Claire has been absolutely fantastic with my puppy! She sends pictures and updates throughout the day to put my mind at ease. I can tell she cares for my pup like her own. I am so glad to have found her! ?”

“If you are in the position to need someone to watch your fur family member, look no further than Marina and Richard. They took in our 14-week-old puppy two days in a row for daycare. We were able to focus on what we needed to do, knowing she was in good hands. They have a few dogs and daughters who taught our pup some good socialization skills. She came home, happy and tired. We are so grateful for her care!”

“Alexandria was so amazing with Tater! We had a meet and greet and I could tell Tater was going to have a great time! Throughout the day I got videos and I knew Tater was in great hands! Thank you for taking good care of Tater. He is sound asleep right now!”

About: We have been caring for dogs for many years. Starting from puppies to full grown dogs over the years and know how to understand what a dog needs for a healthy, happy, and full life. Aharon works from home most of the time. With just one dog at home it would be easy to add another. It’s easy to add another to the pack! We take our dogs outside for exercise twice a day and have play sessions in between. We have 1200 sqft of interior space for the dogs to play and chill with a fenced backyard. There’s also a dog park almost right in our backyard where we go to all the time. The area is residential and lots of families around that know us.

About: Private home boarding. One client at a time. Every stay feels like a vacation with personalized care for your dog. Your dog is not one of many guests. They are our only guest. Hosting one client at a time lets us focus on your dog and follow the routine they know. Whether your dog likes to play, explore, sit beside us, or rest in a quiet spot, we give them space to enjoy the stay in their own way. You will receive thoughtful daily photo updates, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your dog is doing well. We know choosing someone to care for your dog is a big decision, and we appreciate the trust our clients place in us. We would be happy to schedule a meet-and-greet before your dog's first stay to answer your questions, get to know your dog, and make sure we are a good fit. From the moment your dog arrives, they are part of everything we do. Because we both work from home, your dog spends the day with us instead of being left alone for long periods. We go for walks, spend time in the backyard, take breaks, and shape the day around what your dog likes. Some dogs want to stay active, while others are happiest resting nearby. Whenever possible, we follow the routine your dog knows at home, including feeding times, medications, exercise, and bedtime. A familiar routine can help a dog relax more quickly in a new place. We never rush your dog’s first day. Your dog can get familiar with the house and backyard before settling in. Our home sits on a large property with a fully fenced backyard where dogs have plenty of room to explore, play, or relax. Fresh water is always available, and every dog is supervised indoors and outside. I am certified in Dog First Aid and CPR. Before each stay, the house and backyard are checked and prepared for your dog’s arrival. Boris, our Boston Terrier, is friendly, neutered, fully vaccinated, and up to date on flea and tick prevention. Dogs are introduced slowly while we watch how each one responds. If your dog wants more space, we respect that. During walks, we watch your dog’s behavior and the area around us. If a route becomes busy or something makes your dog uneasy, we change direction or adjust the plan.
“Kim is wonderful and patient. I have never taken my dogs to day care before and they were nervous and shy. Kim was wonderful with them and sent photos throughout the day. I was so happy with her services that I rebooked another doggy day care day and will be boarding with her. She made the experience very positive for myself and my dogs.”

“So glad to have found Quinten after our former Rover caretaker moved overseas. He clearly loves dogs and it shows in his gentleness and patience towards them. Like many of her kind, our French Bulldog can have bursts of high energy. Some Rover caretakers who are less experienced can be overwhelmed with her quirks, but Quinten was not only unfazed but seems to appreciate each dog’s unique personality. He sent plenty of videos and pictures during a short day care. We look forward to our next stay with him.”

“Finding Adelle was a gift and perfect match it seems. Nearby, knowledgeable, professional, responsible and kind and she loves to hike with the dogs too. Lucky dog and owner. Thank you!”

“This was Emma's first time with Stanley and Victoria. Stanley was very prompt replying to my request for short notice day care and even spent time on New Year's Day for a short meet and greet. Emma was happily tired from walks and playing with other dogs and very relaxed when I took her home. It's great to be able to leave Emma in good hands with Stanley and Victoria.”

“Jenny was great! She kept me updated on how my dog was doing including pics and videos. Also he seemed to have a great time with her dogs too! I’ll definitely use her in the future! Thank you again!”

About: I work from home full-time with my best friend, Ace — a friendly and easygoing Labrador who loves having new buddies to explore with. With 10 acres of trails and open space to roam, plus a calm, consistent routine, I offer a relaxed, home-style environment where dogs can enjoy fresh air, playtime, and personalized attention. I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, and horses, and have also worked hands-on in the veterinary field, so while I’m confident managing basic needs and emergencies, my care is best suited for dogs who thrive in a peaceful, low-stress setting. Whether your pup loves sunbathing or playing chase in the yard, they’ll feel right at home here. Because I work from home, pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. I’m here throughout the day and night, so your dog will never feel alone or overlooked. From walks and playtime to quiet moments and cuddles, I provide plenty of attention and interaction at a relaxed pace. My consistent presence helps pets feel safe and comfortable, and I tailor their day to match their energy, whether that means exploring the trails or just lounging by my side. While you're away, they’ll have the care, companionship, and calm environment they need to feel at home. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. I provide a calm, consistent environment with plenty of supervision, so dogs feel safe, relaxed, and cared for throughout their stay. Each pup gets personalized attention, regular potty breaks, playtime, and downtime based on their unique energy and needs. My 10-acre property offers plenty of space to explore, with one side securely fenced and the rest open but always supervised. Because the property isn't fully enclosed, all outdoor time is carefully monitored at all times, and I only allow off-leash play for dogs with reliable recall or with owner permission. Safety is always my top priority, and dogs are never left outside unattended. Indoors, pets have access to cozy, clean spaces to rest and recharge, and they’re always part of the household, not isolated or left alone for long. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I follow your routine closely to keep things familiar and low-stress. I always respect your space and provide regular updates so you can relax while you’re away.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
