“Lisa was wonderful with our dog. We could not have asked for a better sitter! She understands dogs very well and responds to their needs. Totally trusted her with our dog.”

“We had a great experience with Chloe! She was professional, communicative, and most importantly, our dog clearly enjoyed staying with her. We felt totally at ease while we were away and would definitely recommend her services 🙂”

“Quang is great! We use him every time we go out of town. Our dog gets so much play time at his house and loves being there. He is great with communication and sending photos.”

“Wendy and her family took care of my mini schnauzer for one day boarding. Wendy sent multiple pictures throughout the day and I could tell my dog was doing great there. There were 3 other dogs and my dog had fun with the doggie friends! As a small dog owner, I liked the fact they only accept small dogs. Recommend Wendy for anyone who needs a dog sitter.”

“Quinten was great! Clearly has a love of dogs and showed it immediately when we did our first meet and greet. Very thoughtful about how the dogs were managed at the house and sent videos every day so that we could see how our pup was doing. Matilda looked so happy and made plenty of friends. Would definitely book with Quinten again.”

“Theresa did a great job taking care of my pup, and kept me updated everyday during our time out of town. We felt our dog was in great hands, and appreciated the way she cared for our dog!”
“Xiaoshan and Xiuli did a great job boarding my dog. They took the time to make sure she got along well with the other pets in the house. They took her on walks and shared photos of her enjoying her time with them. Will definitely reach out to book them again 😊”

“Loic and Kristen took such good care of our little two year old schnoodle, Poppy! This was our first experience with them and we were gone for 17 days so we were a bit nervous at first. But from day one, it looked like Poppy was having a terrific time. We got photos and updates every day. Poppy has lots of energy and they took her on long walks every day to sniff and explore. She loved playing with their son and getting lots of attention. We will definitely send Poppy here again!”

“We left tofu with Chris for 3 weeks when we went to India. Tofu had a great time and was so well taken care of. Chris took a tofu to dog parks and walks, and sent us plenty of pictures and updates throughout.”

“It is evident that our pup was extremely well cared for by Lena, her mom, and her children. He received lots of love and attention, and plenty of exercise - meanwhile, we received regular updates and pictures. Our pup can be anxious when we are away, but it was clear he felt comfortable with Lena and her family because he was his normal chill self with them and pretty calm when we picked him up. I completely agree with Lena's daughter's assessment that their home is a good environment for dogs. Thanks Lena and family!”
“Hyeyoung and her family took great care of George! She sent great updates each day about George. Her photos are amazing! She made George look like a vogue doggy. I will 100% be rebooking with her!”

“Kim is amazing at taking care of my cranky little senior pup! She updates several times a day and takes such good care of him. Shes one of the few people I trust to do so.”

“As soon as I met Dana I knew Totoro would be in great hands. She is experienced and knowledgeable with cats and dogs, which was a relief to us since it was our cat's first time boarding elsewhere. Dana was flexible with our booking, took it last minute and was not fazed by Totoro's medication needs. We received regular pictures, updates and even got to interact with some of the kittens she was fostering! Totoro got a room for himself with a window perch that he really enjoyed, brushed and daily cuddling sessions. I would absolutely recommend Dana for any pet care needs!”

“Nicole was reliable. She gave one of my cats his daily medication, even when he was being difficult. I would recommend Nicole to anyone looking for a trustworthy cat sitter.”

“Briana was professional, kind and friendly. She cared for my cat Bailey with all the attention and detail , that made me grateful for the daily comfort she provided. The photos and updates were so appreciated. I will definitely be using Briana again In the future.”

“Ardelle did a fantastic job. My brave kitty made ready friends with her, and she took the time to take pictures of my shy guy, too. It was a great relief to know they were well cared for while I was away.”

“We had a really great experience with Kseniia taking care of our cats. She followed all of our instructions carefully, kept the litter boxes clean, refreshed food and water, and took wonderful care of our cats. One of our cats is usually very selective about people, but he came out to her and even enjoyed being petted and played with, which says a lot. She even offered to clean up the mess the cats had made, even though we hadn’t asked. We were able to enjoy our vacation with complete peace of mind, knowing our cats were in caring and reliable hands. Highly recommend!”

“Kathryn was prompt and did a great job watching our cat, keeping the cat’s areas clean and updating us after each visit. Our kitty obviously liked her. She also brought in packages while we were away which was very helpful. I would highly recommend Kathryn!”

“Lindsay was amazing! She took notes at the meet and greet for some slightly complicated feeding instructions, and it was a huge plus that she’s such a good photographer of our cats! Our shyest cat flopped on the ground during her last visit, which is a very good sign that she trusts her! Will definitely use Lindsay again if she’s available!”

“Morgan is a true cat whisperer! Our 19yo male cat is such a scaredy-cat I figured we wouldn’t get pictures of him all week. Wrong! Morgan was able to get pictures of him most days. And they were not just of his tail disappearing around the corner but of him relaxing in his favorite sleeping spots. Well done, Morgan!”

“We booked a last minute trip and Autumn was wonderful with our cat. She sent us lots of pictures daily, which was great since we were missing her. Would definitely book again.”

“Mindy is great! She is a cat whisperer and our cat loved her from the start! Friendly, punctual, responsive and helpful. Sent us picture updates after every visit. Will hire her again.”

“It was incredible having Elizabeth drop in to check on our cat. She took care of everything needed, provided detailed updates and made sure our cat felt comfortable. We felt so much peace of mind knowing our cat was in good hands. Highly recommend Elizabeth, we'll definitely be back for her services!”

“Elizabeth is such a kind human and went above and behind to take care of our two kitties & home! I would highly recommend booking with her and will definitely use her in the future :)”

“Grace is amazing! She went above and beyond for all my pets, both furry and scaly while I was gone. She gave great updates and I slept well thousands of miles away knowing that all my babies were being attended to with attention and care. I highly recommend her for all your pet-sitting needs.”

“Will definitely be booking her again. She’s very communicative and asks lots of questions to gain understanding to best take care over our babies(kitties). She came and met them before had and tried to bond with them but made sure to be patient and give them space.”

“Courtney took excellent care of my cat while I was out of town for a week, stopping by once a day to check up on him and even helped with a small medical emergency. She spent extra time playing with him with his favorite toys and made sure he had everything he needed. Would absolutely seek her out next time I need help!”

About: We have been caring for dogs for many years. Starting from puppies to full grown dogs over the years and know how to understand what a dog needs for a healthy, happy, and full life. Aharon works from home most of the time. With just one dog at home it would be easy to add another. It’s easy to add another to the pack! We take our dogs outside for exercise twice a day and have play sessions in between. We have 1200 sqft of interior space for the dogs to play and chill with a fenced backyard. There’s also a dog park almost right in our backyard where we go to all the time. The area is residential and lots of families around that know us.
“Alex was super patient with George as he was a rescue so he has high anxiety with anyone anywhere new. George had fun with all the pups and seemed to enjoy lots of snuggle as well. Alex also shared pictures and updates through the stay.”

“I couldn’t be happier with the care Quinten provided for my dog Penny. From the moment we met, it was clear they had a genuine love for animals. They kept me updated with daily photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. My pet was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for when I returned. I highly recommend Quinten to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate sitter!”

“Stanley is super responsive, super welcoming, and a truly dog lover! He and his wife Victoria took care of our doggies as their family. Charlie, their super cute dachshund welcomed them as well! We humans and dogs became get along so quick. They showed their place and explained how they will spend before confirming the appointment. That was very nice as well. Though, I asked him this appointment the last-minute, Stanley accepted it willingly and I could enjoy the day without any concerns. My Dogs enjoyed the time with them so much. They came home with "good tired". That is most important. My dogs have upcoming boarding appointments with him already. Can't wait for it! I highly recommend Stanley. *Receiving photos and videos didn't work well through chat window on rover.com so he sent those to me direct phone number. Thank you so much, again!”

“Jessica took the best care of my KBT senior, Schmokie ? About: Private home boarding. One client at a time. Every stay feels like a vacation with personalized care for your dog. Your dog is not one of many guests. They are our only guest. Hosting one client at a time lets us focus on your dog and follow the routine they know. Whether your dog likes to play, explore, sit beside us, or rest in a quiet spot, we give them space to enjoy the stay in their own way. You will receive thoughtful daily photo updates, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your dog is doing well. We know choosing someone to care for your dog is a big decision, and we appreciate the trust our clients place in us. We would be happy to schedule a meet-and-greet before your dog's first stay to answer your questions, get to know your dog, and make sure we are a good fit. From the moment your dog arrives, they are part of everything we do. Because we both work from home, your dog spends the day with us instead of being left alone for long periods. We go for walks, spend time in the backyard, take breaks, and shape the day around what your dog likes. Some dogs want to stay active, while others are happiest resting nearby. Whenever possible, we follow the routine your dog knows at home, including feeding times, medications, exercise, and bedtime. A familiar routine can help a dog relax more quickly in a new place. We never rush your dog’s first day. Your dog can get familiar with the house and backyard before settling in. Our home sits on a large property with a fully fenced backyard where dogs have plenty of room to explore, play, or relax. Fresh water is always available, and every dog is supervised indoors and outside. I am certified in Dog First Aid and CPR. Before each stay, the house and backyard are checked and prepared for your dog’s arrival. Boris, our Boston Terrier, is friendly, neutered, fully vaccinated, and up to date on flea and tick prevention. Dogs are introduced slowly while we watch how each one responds. If your dog wants more space, we respect that. During walks, we watch your dog’s behavior and the area around us. If a route becomes busy or something makes your dog uneasy, we change direction or adjust the plan.
“Kim is wonderful! She took great care of Whitley, and I loved the updates with how Whitley was playing with the other dogs. Kim is extremely responsive to messages and we can’t wait to book with her again in the future. It is such a relief to find somebody we know can take good care of our girl when needed. Thank you, Kim!”
About: Constant Companionship & Peace of Mind As a full-time remote professional (WFH), your pet will never feel lonely at my home. I am here 24/7 to provide constant supervision, frequent potty breaks, and, most importantly, all the cuddles they deserve. Unlike sitters who work out of the home, I can adapt my schedule entirely to your pet’s routine, ensuring they feel safe and settled. Expertise in Specialized Care What truly sets me apart is my experience with high-need pets. I personally raised one of my resident cats from just 2 weeks old—a journey that required immense patience, around-the-clock bottle feeding, and meticulous care. This experience has made me exceptionally attentive to subtle changes in a pet's mood or health, making me a great fit for puppies, seniors, or pets who need a little extra TLC. Lifelong Small Breed Lover Before becoming a cat mom to my two sweet residents, I grew up with a Teddy Dog and a Yorkshire Terrier. I understand the spirited personalities and specific safety needs of small breeds. Living in a cozy townhouse, I specialize in creating a calm, indoor sanctuary supplemented by quality morning and evening walks to keep them active and happy. A Natural Connection I’ve been called an "animal magnet" since I was a child. I believe in patient, positive reinforcement and respect each pet's unique boundaries. Your furry family member will be treated exactly like my own—with unconditional love and professional responsibility. Full-Time Care & Attention As a dedicated pet parent to two cats, my life already revolves around animal care. My WFH status allows me to offer constant supervision and a flexible schedule tailored to your pet's needs. Since I live in a townhouse without a yard, I prioritize quality outdoor time with dedicated morning and evening walks. During the work day, your pet will enjoy a calm, climate-controlled environment with me right by their side. Whether they need a quick play session between my meetings or a quiet spot to nap, I am here to ensure they are happy and comfortable 24/7. Every pet has a unique personality and set of needs. My first priority is to mirror the routine they are used to at home to minimize stress. Whether it’s a specific feeding time, a favorite toy, or a particular way they like to be scratched, I follow your instructions to the letter. When Staying in My Home (Boarding/Daycare): Constant Supervision: Since I work from home, your pet will be in the same room as me most of the day. They will have full access to a comfortable, climate-controlled environment. Safety & Integration: With two resident cats, I am an expert at slow, safe introductions. If your pet prefers their own space, my townhouse allows for easy separation to ensure everyone feels secure and relaxed. Active Outdoors: Since I don't have a yard, I prioritize quality time outside. We will go on at least two dedicated walks (morning and evening) and frequent quick potty breaks to keep them stimulated and happy. Cat-Specific Care: For cat guests, I provide meticulous litter box maintenance and plenty of interactive play with wand toys and feathers. When Visiting Your Home (Drop-ins/House Sitting): Home Security & Tidiness: I treat your home with the utmost respect. I ensure all doors are locked, mail is brought in if needed, and the space remains exactly as you left it. Quality One-on-One Time: I don’t just "fill the bowl." I spend the entire duration of the visit engaging with your pet, providing companionship, and making sure they feel loved while you're away. Detailed Updates: I am a big communicator! You can expect frequent photo and video updates of our adventures, so you never have to wonder how your best friend is doing.
“Finding Adelle was a gift and perfect match it seems. Nearby, knowledgeable, professional, responsible and kind and she loves to hike with the dogs too. Lucky dog and owner. Thank you!”

“Marina & Richard were amazing sitters for our pup. They were super responsive and confirmed our booking quickly. The pictures of our pup were so adorable and I know she had an amazing time with their family and pups. We will certainly book with them again!”

About: I work from home full-time with my best friend, Ace — a friendly and easygoing Labrador who loves having new buddies to explore with. With 10 acres of trails and open space to roam, plus a calm, consistent routine, I offer a relaxed, home-style environment where dogs can enjoy fresh air, playtime, and personalized attention. I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, and horses, and have also worked hands-on in the veterinary field, so while I’m confident managing basic needs and emergencies, my care is best suited for dogs who thrive in a peaceful, low-stress setting. Whether your pup loves sunbathing or playing chase in the yard, they’ll feel right at home here. Because I work from home, pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. I’m here throughout the day and night, so your dog will never feel alone or overlooked. From walks and playtime to quiet moments and cuddles, I provide plenty of attention and interaction at a relaxed pace. My consistent presence helps pets feel safe and comfortable, and I tailor their day to match their energy, whether that means exploring the trails or just lounging by my side. While you're away, they’ll have the care, companionship, and calm environment they need to feel at home. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. I provide a calm, consistent environment with plenty of supervision, so dogs feel safe, relaxed, and cared for throughout their stay. Each pup gets personalized attention, regular potty breaks, playtime, and downtime based on their unique energy and needs. My 10-acre property offers plenty of space to explore, with one side securely fenced and the rest open but always supervised. Because the property isn't fully enclosed, all outdoor time is carefully monitored at all times, and I only allow off-leash play for dogs with reliable recall or with owner permission. Safety is always my top priority, and dogs are never left outside unattended. Indoors, pets have access to cozy, clean spaces to rest and recharge, and they’re always part of the household, not isolated or left alone for long. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I follow your routine closely to keep things familiar and low-stress. I always respect your space and provide regular updates so you can relax while you’re away.

“Had a great first experience with Michael! He was super responsive, right on time, really kind, easy to work with, and sent lots of sweet pics. Our dogs were definitely in good hands.”

“Caring, Extremely friendly, and a down to the core lover of Dogs, Peter provides amazing service and experience. Will continue with his service for reoccurring services.”

“Briana has been a DREAM with our very large (57 lb) puppy. She walks her 2-3 times a week and Leia loves her. She is thorough and honest with her “report cards”, asks great questions, gives great answers and goes above and beyond in her service. This week we had an emergency situation post spay surgery while I was at work, and Briana dropped everything to help make sure my girl was safe, and was flexible enough to switch services and schedules last minute to dog sit for her for the following two days so we could have piece of mind at work. I am so grateful to her. 10000% suggest her to literally anyone looking for help with their pets.”

“Martina was patient with my old reactive pup! He's in a new apartment in a new town and Martina did everything to help him feel comfortable and gained his trust quite quickly and easily. Very satisfied and I look forward to working with Martina further in the future!!”

About: I am very reliable with my schedule and will be able to show up for all scheduled visits. I love to be outside and would be thrilled to get some extra steps in with a dog walk each morning. I am also very familiar with scooping litter and cat care. I am currently working an afternoon shift. I am available for morning meals and walks. I am also available after my shift for a late night walk or meal. I am very aware of the hesitation of someone coming into your home to care for your pets. I take great care in making sure the pet is safe along with securing the home once the visit is done.
“Hailee did a great job managing my older, reactive/anxious dog as well as my very excitable puppy! I would definitely recommend her—she followed my detailed instructions carefully and was very patient with both dogs, who each have somewhat complicated needs.”

“Lauren was quick to notice Riley's patch he had been scratching and took a photo for me. It was a great way to help me see what I was coming home to and how to prep for his care. AWESOME job.”
About: Hi! I’m Lauren, a dependable and caring animal lover based in the Issaquah area. I have hands-on experience caring for my own dog and three cats (have had all since they were puppies and kittens), so I’m very comfortable managing different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’ve also helped care for my sister’s huskies, so I understand the importance of structure, exercise, and patience—especially with high-energy dogs. I have also provided overnight care for a good friend's German Shepard mix while she has traveled for work. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I take that seriously. Whether it’s a quick walk or helping break up your dog’s or cat's day, I’ll make sure they’re safe, exercised, and well cared for. I’m reliable, communicative, and will always treat your pet like my own. I’m happy to follow specific routines, handle multiple pets, and provide updates so you feel at ease while you’re away. Looking forward to meeting you and your pets! I have a flexible schedule and am available most weekdays with a day’s notice. I can accommodate morning and midday visits and will always communicate clearly to ensure reliable, consistent care. I treat every pet as if they were my own, with patience, attention, and care. In a client’s home, I follow their pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, playtime, litter or yard cleanup, and any special instructions. I’m attentive to behavior and comfort levels and always prioritize safety, consistency, and clear communication with owners

“Nicolas has been such a huge help with my girls!! They’re not the easiest to walk because one is old and stubborn and the other is young and wants to run, and he’s great with them. :)”

About: I have hands-on experience helping my mom with her dog rescue nonprofit, where I helped transport and foster dogs. This gave me experience caring for dogs with different personalities, needs, and backgrounds. I’m patient, attentive, and committed to making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me. I work remotely, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I’m happy to work around each pet’s routine, including walks, playtime, meals, and plenty of companionship. I live alone with no personal pets, so your pet can have my full attention in a calm and comfortable environment. I’m active and have easy access to nearby trails for walks and exercise. I also live in a quiet, friendly condo neighborhood, making it a safe and relaxing place for pets to stay. I’ll make sure each pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and care based on their individual needs and routine.
About: Pets have been my life ever since I was five years old. I wasn't a caretaker at that age, but I've fostered a close connection and understanding towards pets ever since. As I got older, my responsibilities grew in kind, and I became much more involved in the day-to-day care of dogs and cats. I've been fortunate to be a part of six dogs lives, and each have brought different temperaments, attitudes, and energy levels. Four of the six were rescues, so I understand the patience and attentiveness needed to properly address their needs and quirks. I also helped raise a 10 week old puppy into adulthood, so I am very familiar with what it takes to handle the stubbornness and energy of a young pup. While it's been some time since my cat has passed away, I likewise share a similar understanding to their needs and socialization. It requires a different approach than a dog but I am happy to adapt to the pet at hand and ensure they receive the best care possible. I have returned from a term of service abroad in the Peace Corps, and am currently searching for employment as I settle back in the states. I will be living in Washington for the time being before I set off to grad school. As such, my schedule is fairly open for dog walking and check-ins. Some of my fondest memories abroad was walking around the countryside in my spare time, so I'm excited to continue that here with some new friends! I will ensure that the pets' needs are addressed in full with the client before I take on the service, and adhere to the directions advised. I cannot currently board pets at my home, but I am happy to check in on pets whilst abiding by the rules of my client's homes.

“Wendy was great with my dog! She has a kind and patient attitude. I appreciate that she asks questions to ensure she provides the best care and learns about my pups behavior and routine. You can tell she really loves working with dogs!”

“Hannah was prompt for all scheduled walks and communicative. Your dog will be safe and happy with Hannah! I am so grateful to have had peace of mind while away and know that my dog was very well taken care of!”
About: Looking for someone who can give your fur baby all the attention they deserve? That’s me! I’m a full time pet sitter, so your furry family member is my top priority. From morning cuddles to playtime and walks, I make sure each day is full of love and care. I’ve been caring for dogs for over 20 years, and I truly understand how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care. I raised two Labradors from puppies all the way to 17 and 18 years old, and I’ve also cared for many small dogs over the years. Every dog is different, so I always take the time to learn their routine, personality, and what helps them feel comfortable. After my own dogs passed, I realized how much I still wanted dogs to be part of my life. Caring for other people’s dogs has been a meaningful way for me to share that love again. ❤️ ⭐️As part of my commitment to supporting the Mirrormont community, 5% of all earnings from Mirrormont clients are donated to the community park in support of the Mirrormont Community Association (MCA). I’m available most days and have a flexible schedule as a full time pet sitter. Please feel free to reach out to check specific dates or times. 🐾 About My Daycare 🐾 Safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I focus on creating a clean, calm, and welcoming environment where every dog can feel relaxed and well cared for. To help maintain a clean and comfortable environment for all dogs in my care, I kindly ask that all pups be fully house trained. Thank you so much for your understanding. My goal is to make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and at ease during their time with me, whether they are here for daycare, boarding, or in-home care. ⸻ ⭐️ Daycare Policy⭐️ Daycare typically runs from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with up to 10 hours of care — but I’m happy to adjust the schedule to fit your needs. Just let me know what works best for you and your pup. If you need a little extra time, extended care is available at $15 per additional hour. Please let me know in advance so I can plan accordingly. 🐈Since cats are often more comfortable in their own space, I generally do not offer daycare for cats. I’m always happy to provide in-home drop-in care, where your cat can remain relaxed in a familiar environment. ⸻ 🏡 Boarding Policy 🏡 When your pup stays overnight with me, they’ll be treated like family and enjoy a cozy, home-style environment. You can expect me to spend at least 20 hours a day with your pup — this includes overnight care, plenty of walks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day, and a calm, comforting presence at night. That said, I may step out briefly for personal errands like grocery shopping, meals, or other short outings, but your pup will never be left alone for extended periods. I always make sure they are safe, comfortable, and well cared for when I’m away. ⸻ 🚪 Pet Sitting Policy 🚪 When staying in your home, I promise to respect both your pets routine and your space with the utmost care. I will spend at least 20 hours a day in your home, always planning my schedule around your pup’s walks, meals, and comfort. Most importantly, I will stay overnight to keep your pups company they’ll never have to sleep alone. Their routine is my top priority, and I aim to make them feel calm, loved, and secure while you’re away. Before I leave, I will return your home to the way it was clean, tidy, and as if I was never there. ⸻ 💛 What You Can Expect I treat every fur baby like family and always follow their routine. Your pup will enjoy: • A safe, loving, and stress-free environment • Plenty of walks, playtime, and cuddles • Regular updates with photos and videos • Careful tracking of water intake and potty breaks to help monitor their health. ⸻ Let me know if you’d like to schedule a meet-and-greet. I look forward to welcoming your pup into my home and making sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for every step of the way 🐶💕

“Carl is an amazing sitter! Very communicative, sent lots of pictures, and I could tell our boy was very comfortable and having a great time while we were gone. Carl’s space is fantastic for any pets, our dog loved being there. I will absolutely reach out to Carl first in the future for any sitting needs.”

“Jessi and her family are so wonderful! This is the second time Jessi’s watched our dog and we can’t say enough wonderful things about her. She goes above and beyond. We hope we’re lucky enough to have her babysit again.”

“Kari was a wonderful help with Mishka. She was super responsive and went out of her way and made a meal to make sure our finicky eater was well nourished during his stay. Highly recommend her ❤️ Thanks, Kari!”

“Can’t say enough about how wonderful Liz was!! Her expertise in dog behavior is obvious, her communication (both before and during our pup’s stay) was lovely, and our nervous pup was made so comfortable! It was a relief to know our pup was in such good hands for our weekend away. Thank you Liz!!!”

“We interviewed three different people before choosing care for Woody’s first stay outside of our family. Woody is 3 years old, leash-reactive, a little naughty and stubborn at times, but overall a very sweet, playful, and affectionate dog. We specifically needed someone confident and experienced—someone who could comfortably handle a strong leash puller, stand firm with his stubborn streak, and not be intimidated by the behaviors we openly shared ahead of time. Bryan immediately stood out. From our initial conversations and the meet-and-greet a few months before the stay, it was obvious how comfortable and experienced he is with dogs. He approached Woody calmly and confidently, walked him on leash with ease, and demonstrated a handling style that instantly put us at ease. He also asked thoughtful questions about Woody’s behaviors that showed both understanding and competence in managing dogs with quirks and challenges. Bryan and Peggy have a wonderful setup for dog care: a secure fenced yard, a clean and comfortable home, and a quiet neighborhood with wide sidewalks and plenty of space for walks. One thing we especially appreciated is that they only care for one dog at a time, which is uncommon and was exactly what we needed for our Velcro dog. They also have several green spaces within walking distance, which we loved. At drop-off, Bryan took inventory of Woody’s belongings, reviewed my notes, asked thoughtful questions, and spent time playing with Woody in the yard to help him feel comfortable before we slipped out. It made for a calm, low-stress transition, and we were impressed by the level of care and attention he showed from the very beginning. Throughout Woody’s stay, Bryan sent daily updates with photos and videos, along with notes about Woody’s temperament and how he was doing. As nervous dog owners leaving him for the first time, we greatly appreciated the communication and reassurance. Over the course of the six-night stay, we could visibly see Woody becoming more comfortable and playful with Bryan—fetching balls, wagging his tail, smiling, and zooming around the yard. Overall, we would absolutely feel comfortable having Woody stay with Bryan again and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for calm, confident, experienced dog care. Excellent communication and exceptional care from start to finish.”
