My dog has some separation anxiety and can sometimes take a while to warm up to unfamiliar people, but he got used to Joshua right away and it feels like my dog has known Joshua for a long time now. Joshua embraces my dog’s unique quirks and reads his behavior so well, which makes a huge difference. We get photo/video updates each stay, and my dog always looks comfortable and so happy. We honestly can’t recommend Joshua enough. He’s reliable, caring, and just genuinely great with dogs. About: Most people call me Josh. Dogs have always been my favorite animal and I've lived with them for most of my life. I am recently dog-free and I miss having dog energy in my house. I've raised two dogs through basic obedience to adulthood, one with a class, and one largely on my own. I am personally a big believer in the methods described in The Art of Raising a Puppy, because I have had excellent results with their techniques, but will of course prioritize whatever approach is preferred by owners. I am happy to help reinforce any basic obedience your dog may be working on, as well as senior dogs. I am comfortable with a wide range of dog breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Highly reactive dogs are not my favorite, but "highly reactive" can be subjective, so I will consider such dogs on a case by case basis. I am happy to work with dogs of varying activity levels, but extremely high-activity dogs will also be considered on a case-by-case basis. I am currently working from home and am available for dropoff in-home daycare most weekdays and dog boarding (including weekends). My schedule for my dog was three walks a day (morning, afternoon/dinnertime, bedtime) so that is what I'm used to, but I am happy to work with clients to discuss their routine and work with them to agree on an experience that fits their and their dog's needs. I currently have no other animals in my home, so your dog will get my full attention as needed. I don't have a fenced yard, but I am in a residential neighborhood with a good-sized park a block away. I am reasonably close to Seward Park and the Genesee dog park as well.

About: I have experience caring for friends' dogs, as well my previous Retriever mix Lucky. I had her for 13 years from her energetic puppy years to a senior who needed a lot of attention and medication. My home is missing a set of paws walking around it now and I have a very flexible schedule until I leave for a new job in August. I look forward to getting in touch! I am currently in between jobs and have plenty of free time for your pups! In a typical week I will only leave the house for a few hours at a time for a couple reoccurring appointments on Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday. About: We have been caring for dogs for many years. Starting from puppies to full grown dogs over the years and know how to understand what a dog needs for a healthy, happy, and full life. Aharon works from home most of the time. With just one dog at home it would be easy to add another. It’s easy to add another to the pack! We take our dogs outside for exercise twice a day and have play sessions in between. We have 1200 sqft of interior space for the dogs to play and chill with a fenced backyard. There’s also a dog park almost right in our backyard where we go to all the time. The area is residential and lots of families around that know us.

About: I'm am an animal entertainer extraordinaire. I am experienced in fostering "difficult" dogs or those considered to have behavioral problems. Animals a big part of my household and the two "super-mutts" that are members of my family are a testament to that. I have been learning the language of dogs for years and truly appreciate these furry friends. I enjoy running and love to sit dogs that can come running a 2-6 mile stretch with me because my doggos have tiny legs usually can't keep up. I'm also familiar with caring for elderly or special needs dogs. I had a dog who had back surgery and I had to rehabilitate him over a period of several months in order for him to be able to walk again. I've also cared for a dog with lymphoma that underwent chemo.
