She introduced herself gently and calmly to each cat during our meet and greet and listened to their queues, asked good questions, and was friendly and enthusiastic. When we were on our trip, she sent frequent pictures and updates, talked about when the cats were eating, and gave my old sick cat her medicine. I can tell from the pics that all of the cats liked Kristen and she was playing with the kittens, and the old cat was letting Kristen pet her and letting her know when she was hungry. I’m typically the go-to person for friends and family when they need someone to look after their animals while they’re away— I think it’s because they know I'll be equally obsessed and caring with their pet as they are. My days as of now are wide open as I make this transition into the next phase of my life! About: I was raised with dogs since I was about 5 years old, and had cats since I was 10. I currently own two beautiful cats that I've had for about 5 years now. I have pet sat for others while in the military, and am excited to do so again! I quit my job so that I can attend college full-time. Until I start classes, I am completely free and available to care for animals. Once I start classes, I will still be able to pet sit and board on my off days and weekends. :) I live in a two bedroom condo with a green belt out back and several nice walking trails nearby. We LOVE dogs. I sing and talk to pups that have separation anxiety and have found that helps them warm up to me and ease their worries. I will send you lots of pictures and videos. We are available to set up FaceTime so you can see and talk to your pup while away. ***I prefer weekend drop offs and pick ups between 8am to 10am or 6pm to 10pm. Weekdays are flexible.*** *All dogs must be current on vaccinations and flea preventive. Please provide proof of vaccinations either with a hard copy or a photo through email.* *All dogs must be non aggressive. No exceptions.* I am home much of the time during the week. My husband has a quiet home office. Dogs are welcome to come and go from my husband’s office if they want a quiet break or a change of scenery. Dogs can go outside in our fenced backyard for potty breaks as often as they would like. I generally let them outside, regardless, every 2 hours. We have a fully fenced backyard so they get to run, sniff, and explore off leash. They will be supervised by an adult during backyard fun time. We have a variety of fun dog toys and treats. You are welcome to bring your pup's favorite toys or lovies but we can provide those if you forget or would prefer not to. Our home is 2400 square feet. The downstairs is mostly hardwood floors with rugs and the living room is carpeted. They have full access downstairs. They are welcomed on furniture and there are plenty of nooks and crannies for nap time. My husband or I will be home most of the time to care for your pet. We are usually gone no more than 3 hours. About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong dog lover who works part-time from home while raising my two favorite little ones: my 2-year-old son and our playful 1-year-old female Corgi. Because my days are centered around staying home and keeping my own duo active and happy, I have plenty of time and love to dedicate to your pup. When your dog stays with us, they truly become a part of our family. I’ve been caring for dogs in some capacity since I was 14 years old—back when "babysitting" almost always meant pet sitting, too! As an adult, I spent over 13 wonderful years caring for a bonded pair of rescue dogs. One of them had been returned to the shelter three times before he found me; I was his last hope, and to this day, I say he was the best 50 bucks I ever spent. Having them for their entire lives gave me deep experience with a wide spectrum of canine needs, and I bring that same patience, commitment, and understanding to every pet I watch. I have a 1 year old corgi and a 2 year old human. Mornings are often spent outside with a walk to the park or time in the yard. After lunch consists of naps by both the toddler and dog. Afternoons are varied with more outside time depending on weather and dog will get a second evening walk after dinner. Yard time is typically when we are outside together unless requested by the dog. My corgi often asks to go outside to chase birds or squirrels. In my home your dog will be treated like my own: plenty of pets and cuddles and play. Just please be ok with a toddler interacting with you dog!

Pippa walked in the door, tail wagging, when we dropped her off and was a happy dog when we picked her up next day. “Sourabh took great care of Veeru. He send daily updates and pictures. My dog seemed to get along well with them and their pets. They took care of Veeru like their own dog evident from the pics. Veeru was definitely loved and spoiled. I had to make a modification to the itinerary after 5 days and he was extremely accommodating. Highly recommended Sourabh to care for you fur baby. Bonus point for house with back yard and for working from home so he was always able to keep an eye on veeru.”
