Pet care is already a major part of my daily and weekly routine. As the owner of two Australian Shepherds and a young cat, I’m used to planning my schedule around feeding times, exercise, playtime, grooming, and providing companionship. 🐶 My dogs receive daily walks and enrichment activities, and I regularly brush and groom them to keep them comfortable and healthy. My cat also gets dedicated playtime and attention throughout the day. Caring for pets isn’t something I fit in when I have spare time—it’s already an important part of my lifestyle. Because I’m accustomed to caring for animals with different personalities and energy levels, adding pet sitting, drop-in visits, or walks fits naturally into my routine. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, whether that means going on a long walk, playing fetch, providing enrichment, or simply keeping a pet company while their owner is away. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so I do my best to maintain their normal routines and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

About Anna N.
Safety, trust & environment
Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or a client’s home, my goal is to keep their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I start by learning about each pet’s schedule, personality, preferences, and any special instructions. I want to know things like feeding routines, exercise needs, favorite activities, medications, areas they are allowed in, and any behaviors or triggers I should be aware of. For dogs, I provide walks, playtime, potty breaks, enrichment, and plenty of companionship. I’m experienced with both high-energy dogs, like my Australian Shepherds, and more laid-back dogs who prefer a slower pace. I also reinforce house manners and any training routines owners are already working on. For cats, I make sure they have fresh food and water, clean litter boxes, playtime, and attention based on their comfort level. As a cat owner myself, I understand that some cats love to socialize while others prefer their space, and I adjust my care accordingly. I also pay close attention to a pet’s behavior and body language. After raising dogs and cats with very different personalities, I’ve learned how important it is to recognize when a pet is excited, nervous, tired, overstimulated, or simply wants affection. Above all, I treat every pet as if they were my own by providing a safe environment, consistent care, lots of love, and regular updates to owners so they can feel confident while they’re away.
Information Anna N. would like to know about your pet
🐾 Before caring for a pet, I like to learn as much as possible about their personality, routine, and individual needs. Every animal is different, and understanding them ahead of time helps me provide the best care possible. 🍽️ Some important things I like to know include their feeding schedule, exercise needs, favorite activities, medications, allergies, and any areas of the home that are off-limits. I also appreciate knowing about any fears, triggers, or behaviors I should be aware of, such as reactions to loud noises, other animals, strangers, or specific situations. 🐶🐱 I especially like learning about a pet’s personality. Are they energetic or relaxed? Do they love attention or prefer their space? What helps them feel comfortable when their owners are away? The more I know, the better I can make their experience feel familiar and stress-free. ❤️ My goal is to maintain their normal routine as closely as possible so they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while in my care. I want every pet to feel loved, understood, and at ease while their family is away.
A typical day
I love finding activities that match each pet’s personality and energy level. For dogs, that might mean neighborhood walks, games of fetch, tug-of-war, practicing tricks, puzzle toys, or simply spending time outside exploring new sights and smells. For high-energy dogs, I enjoy providing extra mental and physical enrichment to help keep them happy and engaged. For cats, I love using wand toys, laser pointers, treat puzzles, and interactive play sessions to encourage exercise and satisfy their natural curiosity. For more relaxed cats, I’m happy to spend time brushing them, giving them attention, or simply keeping them company while they lounge nearby. No matter the pet, I focus on making sure they have fun, stay active, and receive plenty of affection. I enjoy learning what each animal loves most so I can create a positive experience that’s tailored specifically to them.

Pet care experience
🐾 What sets me apart is my lifelong experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, along with my hands-on experience in training, grooming, and behavior management. Growing up, I helped care for a Schipperke and later two Chihuahuas, where I developed a love for daily walks, grooming, and building strong relationships with dogs. As I got older, I wanted to expand my experience and raise a high-energy working breed, which led me to my Australian Shepherd, Bailey. 🐶 Since bringing Bailey home as a puppy 7 years ago, I’ve participated in obedience training, at-home training, 4-H, showing, herding, and swimming activities. I also learned how to groom her myself and developed a strong understanding of canine body language and behavior. Through raising her from puppyhood to adulthood, I learned how to recognize what dogs are communicating through their actions, energy levels, and routines. ❤️ I later welcomed a second Australian Shepherd, Willow, who has a completely different personality. She’s vocal, energetic, and more sensitive to certain environments, which taught me that every dog has unique needs and triggers. This experience helped me become adaptable and attentive to each dog’s individual personality. 🎓 In addition to caring for my own dogs, I’ve helped owners work on puppy house manners, basic obedience, and simple tricks. I’ve cared for dogs ranging from small companion breeds to larger breeds such as Labradors and German Shepherd mixes. ✨ Whether your dog needs an energetic walking partner, a patient sitter, reinforcement of good manners, or simply someone who understands their unique personality, I strive to provide care that makes them feel safe, understood, and loved.

Reviews
Anna had always been a loyal and responsible dog and cat owner. She feeds, groom’s and exercises them as their breed requires. She has trainer her Australia Shepherd numerous tricks and obedience. I definitely trust her to care for my pets.
Anna is a very dedicated and responsible pet caregiver. I have known her for many years and have witnessed how much devotion she gives to animals. She puts so much time and effort into their well-being and goes above and beyond to ensure they are thriving.
I have witnessed first-hand how caring and responsible Anna is with animals. She is very consistent with the feeding schedule and diets for her dogs and cat and makes sure she serves them what is necessary for their long-term health. She also keeps track of when her pets need to be checked in for vet appointments and any sort of conditions that need to be taken care of. She always volunteers to pet sit for her friends when they leave town and takes care of them based on her knowledge and the owner's requests. Lastly, it is very important to her that her pets get the proper exercise and attention they deserve. I would highly recommend Anna as a responsible and loving pet caregiver.
Anna is a reliable and mature young lady with purposely set goals in mind. She has a Australian Colly at her parents home that she has trained, fed a cared for for 6 years. She also has pet cared for my two smaller puppies and I fully trust her for any pet care undertaking. You will be in good hands for your pet care needs.
