“Jessi was amazing! She was very understanding and flexible when I messed up the drop off time and sent daily updates! I would definitely recommend using her for your fur babies! Finn came back so happy and tired from all the playing!”

“I'm grateful that Linda answered my last-minute request for two drop-in visits. She kept me informed with multiple texts, sent nice pictures, and said she'd love caring for my two little dogs again. Highly recommended.”

“Our experience with Katie and her family was nothing short of incredible. From the meet and greet where Katie listened to all the things that make Wrigley, Wrigley, to sharing what we could expect for him while in her care, to the drop off where they helped ease the goodbye (Wrigs has short-term separation anxiety), to the photos and texts during his stay, to the pickup where Wrigley clearly demonstrated that he was settled and comfortable (it took him a minute for him to even realize I was calling his name b/c he was engaging with Katie), we couldn't have asked for more. They adapted to Wrigley's needs and welcomed him right in. Wrigley came home happy (and wiped out) from his 4 day playdate, and we know where we'll try and send him whenever we need to know that he's getting the same kind of care and love we give him at home. Thank you, Katie and family!”

“One of the best sitters we’ve ever had!! Xiatotong was communicative and so loving to our two boys. They got lots of walks and time in the yard and even some tasty treats in their food. We loved knowing the boys were on their own vacation while we were away!!”

“Kristin was beyond amazing. My hubby & I boarded our pit bull Weatherly for a night with her. Our dog is reactive towards other dogs, and a pit bull, so trying to find someone to watch her that doesn't feel uneasy can be a bit hard. We did a meet & greet, and I instantly knew she was the one to take care of our dog Weatherly. Kristin is very personable, within 5min of talking with her she felt like a long time friend. She has great communication, my hubby & I got picture updates. Her & weatherly hit it off from the beginning, and Kristin was super attentive to Weatherly's needs. We love Kristin so much, we actually rebooked. Weatherly will get to hang out with Kristin for 5 days, while my family & I are on a trip. She's our go to person!! Thank you for taking such good care of our fur baby!!!”

About: Hey! I'm Tony! We're 2 minutes off Highway 18 and 167, right next to downtown Auburn, so drop-off and pickup are quick whether you're commuting, running errands, or catching a flight. I've loved dogs since before I could walk, and these days I get to spend all day with them. Being home full time means your pup has company from the moment you drop off to the moment you're back. And since I only ever host two guest dogs at a time, there's plenty of one-on-one attention, a big fenced yard to romp in, and a calm house where everybody actually gets to relax. Your dog will be joining my crew. Ozzie is my 12-year-old Catahoula Cur and the chillest dude in the house. He's spent his whole life around dogs of every size and personality, and he's great at showing shy or nervous dogs that everything's okay here. Cleo is my German Shepherd/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, a year and a half old, and she's all play. Calm mentor, fun playmate. Whatever energy your dog brings, we've got a match for it. Good manners are part of daily life here. We'll keep up whatever your dog already knows, practicing things like Sit, Down, Stay, Place, and coming when called, woven naturally into walks, meals, and play. At pickup I'm happy to share what we worked on together so the good habits follow your dog home. Our days are pretty simple, and dogs love it! Breakfast, then a nice 1-2 mile walk with plenty of sniff time. Play in the yard, then the big midday nap. Afternoon feeding at 3, a little more practice, more play, and a mellow evening. Special diet, strict schedule, daily meds? No problem at all. Both of my own dogs have been special needs, so careful routines are just how we live here. Fun fact: before this I spent ten years as a software engineer at Amazon, so I'm a little obsessive about schedules and details. Your dog benefits. You'll also get plenty of photos during the stay. One family liked theirs so much they framed them. Our girl Olive, the brown Catahoula in our photos, is the reason I do this. She taught us what great dog care looks like, and every dog who stays with us gets the Olive treatment. Anxious, reactive, quirky, particular? Tell me all about them. I'd love to meet your dog! Dog care is my full-time focus, so my schedule is built around the dogs. I'm home all day, every day, and up early, so breakfast is always on time and potty breaks happen frequently. The house is available for boarding and daycare nearly year-round, with the rare exception of a family vacation, and my calendar always reflects that. Whether you need a few hours or a few weeks, your dog gets my full attention the whole time. Early drop-off or late pickup? Just ask, we'll make it work. Our yard is fully fenced with plenty of room to run, and introductions to my two dogs are always slow and supervised. Ozzie is a calm, social senior who's great at helping shy or nervous dogs settle in, and Cleo is a friendly playmate for pups who want action. Your dog is treated as a member of the household for their entire stay, and the only unsupervised time is overnight while everybody's asleep. For sleeping, I have crates in a range of sizes and dog beds everywhere, and you're welcome to send your dog's own crate or bed if that's their comfort zone. If your dog needs a break from the pack, they can have their own room with individual attention and potty breaks. Questions or special requirements? Just reach out, I'm happy to accommodate.
“I got a photo everyday and Esther was very quick with responses and genuinely wanted to make sure Forest was comfortable. I would definitely recommend and use her again.”

“She was great & our pups had so much fun! She has a big yard for them to run in with obstacle courses. We also got pictures & videos everyday which relieved our anxiety of leaving them. Will definitely rebook for the next time we go on another trip.”

“Oh my do we love our new grandma Maggie!! I have 2 doxies, one is super nervous, the other had back surgery just under a year ago but they both took to her wonderfully! Maggie sent me pictures and videos to keep me updated while they were there. She was ok with their regime of food which I'm super picky with what they eat. Both dogs seemed happy when I got back from a 3 night 4 day trip and I knew they had a great stay!! I'm so happy and relieved that I found someone who would care for my pets as would!!”

“Tony was flexible and accommodating throughout our experience. He kept me updated and sent plenty of pics of my pup during the stay. I was put at ease and able to enjoy my time away. Bentley returned happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. Couldn’t have asked for anything more!”

“We boarded 2 pooches with Dana and her family. We were hesitant because one of our dogs has a stress seizure disorder which can be serious. Yet- we needed to have her somewhere while we went out of town. Dana graciously offered a Meet and greet and I was very pleased on how both dogs responded. We decided to give it a go and I am pleased to announce both dogs had a great time and we didn't have any problems. No seizures and 2 happy pups! It was a nice touch getting texts and photos from her throughout the time she was caring for our dogs. Thank you Dana and family!”

“Shay is awesome! This is the first time I’ve used a dog boarding/ sitting service and was nervous to leave my 15 old lab while I went on vacation. That being said, Shay put me at ease and took great care of my senior pup. She sent pictures and videos and was very patient with him having accidents. Thanks Shay!”

“Betty and David were absolutely amazing! Hudson had never been with a sitter prior, so we were nervous about how he would react. Betty and David made sure to give us updates throughout the day and an amazing amount of photos! This made me feel so much better knowing he was getting all the love and attention. I would not hesitate booking again with them. Betty and David are not only amazing dog sitters, but they are amazing people and you can tell that they are dog lovers. I appreciate you guys so much and Hudson misses you guys already!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Auburn
Our girls had a great time playing ball, sunbathing, walking and relaxing! 10/10 experience for them, they came home happy and tired so I know they had a great time! Jeanie showed so much care for them, and was super communicative when our Peach wasn’t feeling well. Highly recommend for any pet sitting needs!

Shay took such good care of the pups! Hubert actually came home tired so I think he finally got enough stimulation! She also provided lots of pictures and feedback on how they were doing for the whole stay, and gave my older girl the extra support when needed! Thank you so much again!

Olivia is great with animals. She was super attentive with my dog who seeks a lot of pets. She made sure he was stimulated every day by giving him puzzles to do as well as ample of walks. She even taught him a new trick, “point” which is still under the works. She also kept us updated and even offered to take him to the vet when he accidentally got into their compost. He ended up being a little sick after coming back, but it was all within the expected. I would totally trust her with my dog and I hope to rebook with her in the near future.

..Sydney exceeded expectations with first time booking. I requested her walk and play with dogg in the morning and evening over the course of 3 days. She sent pictures of dogg living her best life. And tracks of mileage she walked about at both the lake park and the bike path. Also had to leave home unsecured for her access. Place was just as I left it with heat and lights on and music playing for dog as I asked. Dog is relaxed and seems like she had a little weekend of adventures with Sydney. We look forward to booking with Sydney again.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
