Hi there! After over a decade as a youth development professional and educator, I am now a full-time pet care provider and positive reinforcement dog trainer. You may also find me in the community as a movement artist and cultural worker. Giving members of my community (humans and animals) space to feel safe, understood, empowered, cared for, and free from harm is the core pillar in all my work - past, present, and future. Early in my career, I worked in animal husbandry and wildlife rehabilitation, which led me through a journey of creating safe spaces for youth and elevating young voices through nature, wildlife conservation, and community. In recent years, my desire to work directly with animals again became apparent. In 2023, I completed the Professional Dog Training: Science and Application course through the IAABC, and I am excited I can now offer private and individualized training services. I specialize in behavioral training and focus on trust and relationship-building between humans and their four-legged counterparts. My loving and supportive partner and I are proud moms of two teenage mutant ninja rabbits (DJ and Bean) and a peace-loving dog (Fen aka Fenzy). Fen entered our home in 2020 as a young foster (deaf, vision-impaired, and anxious). Little did we know, Fen would inspire the creation of this business rooted in life-long learning for all.
