“Charis was the absolute perfect pet sitter for our adopted Pug. Our pup had never been boarded before. And, because she’s used to going with us almost everywhere she experiences significant separation anxiety when she cannot go. And, although she likes her crate we do not crate her at night. She has always slept on our bed with us. Charis understood & did not have any problem allowing our pup to sleep on their bed with them. And, dog loves playing with other dogs. So, the fact that Charis had French & English Bulldogs that were of similar size & temperament made her place the obvious choice. Not to mention the kind & caring atmosphere at her home. It was very obvious that our pup had a great time because she came home exhausted & happy. And, was very relaxed & at peace the next day. We also really appreciated receiving daily updates & photos via text. It really helped to set our minds at ease. We definitely intend to use Charis again. And, we will highly recommend her services to everyone we meet.”

About: I've taken care of animals all throughout my life, and have worked with and in shelters for the past 4 years. I have plenty of experience with a variety of breeds, and all ages from kittens through seniors. About: Hi my name is Emma, I live in Bremerton near the shipyard with my husband and our dog Bella. We have decided to open a dog daycare in our home after years of providing care for animals. I love animals and have been taking care of them my entire life. I have experience with dogs, cats, birds (including chickens), fish, and even horses. We have a fully fenced backyard complete with a doggy pool. I think it’s the perfect setting for dogs to socialize and play. I will of course keep an eye on them to break up any issues that might arise. We will have kennels available if necessary but for the majority of the time your dog will be able to explore and play. All dogs must be up to date on shots and be neutered/spayed. Please reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns. I am home most of the time so my schedule is very flexible so I am available at most times. Also my dog could really use some friends to play with too. I have a fully fenced backyard with plans for fencing the front yard in the future too. I will have kennels available if separation is required. I will be keeping an eye on them too to prevent any potential issues.

I have experience in leash training, potty training and kennel training, as well as basic commands (I.E sit, stay, speak, lay down, roll over etc). I follow instructions to a T! If you have any specific instructions please provide them via message or written down. I try to make the experience here for the animal the exact same as it would be at home, so staying on their schedule is key! I am willing to accommodate any requests you may have (crating them, brushing them, bathing them etc). Please keep in mind that bathing/grooming is an extra fee but if asked about I will have no issue doing so!

I’m also blessed to have professional animal behavior, training, and care experience in the zoological field. About: I have worked in veterinary medicine for 10 years (6 years with Companion Animal Wellness Center and 2 years with Tender Touch Animal Hospital, and two years with animal emergency and speciality center) and I also worked in animal rescue for two years at Pasado's Safe Haven. I love dogs of all kinds and enjoy learning about what they enjoy and how I can help them live happy and healthy lives! I've helped two clinics implement cat friendly practice standards and have a solid understanding of cat behavior. I am comfortable giving medications and know when medical care is needed. I am also a pet owner myself and understand how important it is that you be able to trust your pet caregiver to treat them like family! I teach special education now and so am pretty busy during the school year. If my 12 year old son can come, he’s great with animals too, and I can be more flexible then. Feel free to ask me if something will work! Over the summer I am very available, only needing to be home for about 4-6 hours a day to take care of my own dog. If your dogs are pet social and you don’t have cats ( too fun to chase!), I can stay all day. During the school year, I am gone from 7am until 5 or 6pm, so realistically can only do weekends or solely overnight care. I know the level of trust it takes to leave your fur children with someone new. I will follow your directions and try to keep things as steady for them as possible. My son and I love animals of all shapes and sizes and we love playing with and spending time with them.
About: I’ve taken care of many dogs over the years. My friends and neighbors have asked me to walk them or house sit for their dogs many times. On weekends I have a lot of free time during the day and it could be very useful to be outside and interact with different dogs. A fenced yard in the back for them to have fun and for them to take care of their business. We have play toys that they love to play with.
