“Cathleen has a wonderful setup and treats your dog like family! She took my golden retriever on walks and has outside time and sent photos and communicated well! My dog had a good visit and we will be back!”

“Emma took in my last minute booking for boarding and we couldn’t have been any more pleased with how wonderfully she treated our girl while we were gone. Absolutely would recommend and book with her again!”

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover who friends and family regularly trust to care for their pets while they travel. I have two friendly golden retrievers who truly love other dogs and are gentle, playful, and well-socialized. I’m experienced with a wide range of personalities—from high-energy pups who need lots of playtime to senior dogs who prefer a calm, cozy environment. I treat every dog as if they were my own, paying close attention to routines, feeding schedules, medications, and individual quirks. Your dog will enjoy plenty of love, supervised play, and a safe, comfortable home where they’re never just “watched,” but genuinely cared for. I’m happy to provide updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pup is in good hands. I work from home, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, frequent potty breaks, and a calm, structured environment. I’m available for both short-notice needs and bookings well in advance as you plan your travels. My goal is to be your go-to sitter whenever you need reliable, loving care. I have a large fully fenced yard and two friendly, well-socialized golden retrievers who enjoy playing in the backyard by a game of chase and/or fetch. I closely monitor playtime and all interactions, follow each dog’s routine, and can crate, separate, or provide quiet space if needed in order to keep all dogs in my care stress/free, comfortable and happy. Safety, comfort, and trust are always my top priorities. This isn’t just a place where you drop your dog for the day or for a trip. It’s a calm, loving environment where dogs feel safe and loved while you’re away. I choose thoughtful exercise and enrichment to keep them happy and give them plenty of opportunities to burn energy and excitement.
“Corrine has a great place for the dogs. She was considerate of the old boy. He is deaf but she rolled with it just fine. She sent pictures or video every day. I got back early and picked up a happy dog.”

“Naiomi was amazing! She was super communicative and caring of Bender and I could tell that my normally anxious and timid dog was opening up to her easily. I will happily contact her again in the future as I know my little guy will be in great hands.”

“Sara was amazing!!! She kept me up-to-date on my pups the entire time & made sure they received lots of love. I would definitely recommend her & will be using her services again in the future ?”

“she took such good care of my baby, and kept me updated throughout the time she was there with pictures and texts! she was also super flexible with times while i was in between moving while my husband was deployed, super helpful 🙏🏻”

“Elizabeth exceeded my expectations;she treated Bodhi as a part of her family immediately. She shared pictures and updates of all the fun he had staying with her,her fiance and their adorable corgi. I had a great vacation knowing he was so very well taken care of. Would highly recommend her to anyone wishing to board their dog!!!”

“Valentine, took great care of my babe! I got daily updates with pictures! Communication was very good! I will definitely use his services again in the future. I love that he only had his baby, and mine. My little guy can be needy and clingy. He loves cuddles, snuggles, naps, etc so it worked out great!”

“Such caring people with great communication ! I was so nervous about leaving my dog because he has high anxiety , but he felt right at home and even ate all his meals. Gryffin had healthy play time with their dog and I never felt he was unsafe . I received pictures day and night which was delightful . Will definitely be rebooking for my next vacation.”

“Tanya was awesome!! So sweet and accommodating and a great all-around person. She sent lots of pictures and I could tell Zoey had a blast. Already have my next stay booked. Thank you!”

“I am living for a few months near Poulsbo and needed to find a dog sitter in the area. I connected with Brianna and we visited briefly before my trip. I immediately felt comfortable with her. She took great care of Romeo, sent me photos and updates and was easy to communicate with. My dog is small and he got along with their much larger dog. I highly recommend Brianna as a caring dog sitter.”

“We were so happy that Atlas had a great time! Cara kept us updated with pictures and videos. She asked questions if she felt she needed to and Atlas had so much fun he's just slept since he got home (for an Irish Setter, this is a big deal! They're always going! ). We will 100% be working with Cara again, and Atlas cannot wait to go play with both of the Junipers again.”

“This was our first experience with using Rover and I’m so glad we did. We decided to go with Elizabeth because of the wonderful reviews she has. She did not disappoint. We got pictures of our pup throughout our trip which was much appreciated. Our pup looked like she was living her best life being on many walks and socializing with other dogs. Definitely recommend Elizabeth to others looking for a sitter. We plan on using her from now on whenever we’re traveling.”

“Kevin and his partner were fantastic! They took excellent care of Edgar while I was gone, and pampered him to boot! Edgar was very sad to leave Kevin's side, and he had to be carried out.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Bremerton
Christie was a wonderful host to our 2 pugs. This was out first Rover experience and we could not have been happier. Christie sent us pictures and updates every day and even sent us home with portraits that will have us laughing and enjoying for years. We definitely plan to have Christie watch our babies again. They had so much fun and were very loved.

Justin was fantastic! Frank (Great Dane) and I just arrived in town from a cross-country move less than 24 hours before Justin hosted Frank for the day. I needed a safe place with an understanding sitter for Frank to spend the day while the movers delivered our stuff. Justin provided plenty of updates throughout the day and was very accommodating to the nervous Frank. We will be keeping Justin on our call list to provide care for Frank in the future.

My cat Pusheen had the best care from Jessica. It was my first time boarding!!! I highly recommend her services! Traveling solo can be stressful but as far as my sweet kitty being in the best of hands? No worries! Will Definitely be using her sevices again! Thank you!

Emma is the best! I really appreciated the quick communication regarding drop off and pick up times, and the pictures and updates she sent throughout the day while watching my pup! He had so much fun with Emma and Lani, and I felt so at ease knowing how well he was being taken of!

Steven has such kindness to our dog. She seemed to take to him during her stay. He was very flexible with our schedule during a holiday weekend and sent plenty of photos. I appreciate he was willing to speak with me for a few minutes prior to booking. She had a nice stay in his home and seemed relaxed. We plan to use him in the future.

I’m so glad we booked with Alex! Junie is a super shy dog but she looked comfortable and happy in Alex’s care. She loved exploring the big yard and snuggling with the pack at night. Alex sent as lots of pictures and updates to tell us how things were going. She was very sweet with our girl and we’re excited to book with her again. Thank you, Alex!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
