Hi, I’m Ashley! I’ve been caring for other people’s pets (dogs, cats, reptiles, insects, birds, etc.) professionally for 11 years now. I’m very happy doing this job! I truly can’t imagine doing any other job. My husband and I have two sweet senior dogs of our own, and they’re our best friends and favorite family members. Senior dogs hold a very special place in my heart, but I still love all fur babies, young, old, big, or small! 🐈 🐶 I currently offer boarding services at my home and check-ins in your home for most animals. I also offer walks for dogs who do not pull too much (pulling is okay for small dogs). Check-Ins: I prefer to come do a meet and greet in your home first before booking a service so that I can chat with you and ask questions about your pet’s normal care routine. This ensures you get to know me, your pet gets to know me, and both of our questions can get answered. Boarding: My dogs are friendly and get along well with most furry visitors, but I still always introduce pets carefully and thoughtfully to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. I also believe that a well exercised dog is a well behaved dog, and that all dogs, just like people, need to move their bodies and use their minds to stay happy and healthy. Every dog is different, and I always cater to your pet’s unique needs. Some dogs need an outlet for their energy. I love walking dogs around the block, taking them to the park, etc. We also have a fully fenced in half acre back yard that they can explore. Other dogs, especially seniors, might not require this. That’s okay, too. Whatever your dog’s needs may be, I’m happy to provide them. I look forward to sharing my time, energy, and affection with your furry family member! Ashley is far and away the most responsible and conscientious pet sitter we have ever had. Selfishly, I'm hesitant to leave a review because I want to make sure she's always available when we need her in the future 😄. We feel very comfortable that Penny will be happy and well cared for when we leave her with Ashley.
Ashley was phenomenal during her visits with our pups. She was incredibly thorough, descriptive, and most importantly, communicative throughout. She took awesome care of them and went out of her way to take plenty of photos/updates! We will be absolutely giving her a call next time our dogs need some care.

Ashley's commitment to her clients is stellar. And we really like her thoughtfulness in how she does things. For example, the one-on-one time she gives our pup on his walks is greatly appreciated not just by us, but by our boy too! We can see his excitement. And she's not squeamish when it comes to talking dog poop 💩, a key component to a dog's health especially when they are on the mend.

Schedule
Boarding clients: Please let me know if your pet can not be trusted to be home alone for up to 2.5 hours at a time, as I may be gone for that long during the day.

Safety, trust & environment
I am available for couch cuddles and walks with dogs who do not pull hard on their leash. I always make sure dogs have fresh water in a clean bowl and are fed according to their meal schedules.

A typical day
I love to go on walks and let dogs sniff around to get acquainted with the neighborhood. I usually walk my own dogs twice a day for 30-60 minutes. I also engage with your dog to establish a bond and trust. If your dog knows commands, I'm happy to practice those while it's in our care. All in all, I want your pet to be comfortable because I respect and love animals.

- Let me know if your dog needs medication, has special needs, or has any dietary restrictions. Also, please let me know if they are mischievous! It’s important for close monitoring and we will take proactive measures to prevent any accidents.
