About: I am a genuine happy pet loving guy. With at least ten years caring for my own pets (2 cats, 3 dogs). I have my own transportation and have been first aid certified so I know what to look for at the first signs of any trouble with pets. My days and weekends are perfect time for walking and caring for dogs and cat sitting. I work part time at night as a caregiver, but I can plan house sitting around my other work. I like pets and can’t wait to meet yours. I have a big home and am open to one or two animals a week, but no double booking and no outside cats. However, in a client’s home they set the rules and I respect their space.

About: i have been a dog parent most of my adult life. I have cared for 2 sets of poodle puppies that were born in my house. My last fur baby was a Maltese who lived almost 17 years. I understand that dogs have different personalities and I will treat each one as an individual. I am able to administer medications. Your dogs will be able to take long walks with me, depending on the weather. I will stay with your dog in your house if this makes you and your fur baby feel more secure. I will play fetch, tug of war or any other game your dog likes. My desire is for you to go on your vacation or business trip without worrying about the care that your fur baby is receiving. I know how much your dog means to you. My Maltese is gone now, but there isn't a day that I don't think about him and miss him. I will take care of your dog like I would take care of my own.

About: I grew up around animals, working on my grandparents’ ranch and helping to care for horses, cows, sheep, chickens, ducks, cats, and dogs. I’ve always found working with animals to come quite naturally for me. I first began pet sitting during high school, and in recent years I’ve fostered for a few local rescues, taking care of and helping to socialize dogs who are up for adoption. My husband and I adopted our own rescue, Leroy, in February 2020 before the pandemic and are so grateful we did! I work from home during the week, and enjoy breaking up my workday with nature walks. I tend to talk often to Leroy and the dogs I’m caring for, and treat them more like little humans. Since I work from home, my schedule is flexible and adaptable depending on the needs of the dogs I’m caring for. As an example of my routine for my own dog, I usually take Leroy for a morning walk, a lunchtime walk, and another longer hike or beach walk in the afternoon/early evening, plus a short potty walk after dinner. Depending on whether your dog is dog-friendly or not, I can care for them together or separately. I prefer to visit for a meet-and-greet before scheduling any bookings, so that I can get to know you and your pet in your environment. I like to have an in-depth understanding of their typical daily and nightly routine, so that I can stick to it closely during my stay. My goal is for our time together to be as comfortable for your pet as possible, which I think means disrupting their comfort zone as little as possible. I will follow your directions to a tee, and be in contact with updates regularly to keep you informed.

About: I have cared for dogs and cats throughout my lifetime. I am a pet-assisted therapy researcher and truly believe in the mind and body benefits of caring for animals. The human - animal bond is very real and knowing my dog is being cared for by a responsible and caring individual while I am away is so important. About: Hello! I'm Zoe, a lifelong animal lover and teacher with the Bainbridge Island School District since 2020. I’ve been caring for dogs for over 10 years, including pet sitting and walking pups of all sizes and temperaments. My family includes my sweet rescue dog Friday (a 9-year-old pittie mix) and my adventurous 3-year-old daughter Rooney. We love spending time outdoors and can often be found exploring the beaches and trails around Bainbridge together. Whether your dog loves long walks, quiet snuggles, or playtime in the yard, I’ll treat them like part of the family! I have weekends off and enjoy spending time at home with my pets. During the week, I work from 8am-2:30pm. I work 5 minutes away from home and would be able to check on any pet at least once a day. About: Ever since I was a little girl I have cared for my three dogs. They’re beyond a human’s best friend, they’re our companions! I have a genuine love and passion for our four legged friends and I cannot wait to love and care for your puppies like I love and care for mine! I would like to say I am very attentive to a dog’s needs whether they need a run or a ball thrown, even a good scratch! I’d also say I have a way of gaging if they’re tired and need to head back from a walk. About: My 6-yr old loves animals — especially dogs. We have lots of experience with cats, and want to get her exposed to dogs before we get one ourself! :) We are available early in the morning, afternoons and weekends. My kiddos are in camps from 9a-4p on the weekday so care would be outside those hours. We don’t have a fully - fenced yard, but do have a fenced deck and side yard area. We’re happy to accommodate any special requests.

About: We are committed to providing a clean and safe environment for all of our canine guests. Your pup will have all the features of a larger facility but with the comfort of a home feel. Dogs have a total 2,200 SqFt of play area. Our indoor play area is connected to a fully turfed yard, allowing dogs to run in and out as they please. We monitor the dogs throughout the space to ensure their safety and well-being. Our daycare hours are 9am-5pm on weekdays and offer boarding both on weekends and weekdays. We also offer drop ins for cat care. We have two well mannered and calm husky/malamute mixes to keep all the pups company. We also have a new puppy who plays with our high energy visitors! We ensure all the dogs (and cats) are well taken care of during their stay. We work from home and tend to be home for most of the day. We love dogs and have an interest in dog training and canine first aid, and we self-trained Ghost and Akira to be fully trained service animals. Ramya also is an AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator and is currently completing a certificate in Applied Animal Behavior at the University of Washington. We are able to care for dogs of all sizes and ensure that all pups who stay in our care and matched in their play style. We want all the pups to be safe and have fun!

About: Growing up I have had experience with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. I have a love for animals and do my best to ensure they are always safe, comfortable, and happy in my care. I will always take the extra step to ensure everything goes smoothly and seamless. I am currently a full time student at Washington State University so my availability is mainly any of the long weekends from August-April and almost anytime from May-July. About: I will often take the extra step with animals to make sure that the anxiety or sadness they may feel is settled when their owner is away. I also have experience with senior animals, and kittens/puppies! I am completely free most of the time! I’m a student at the University of Oregon, because of this I have a flexible schedule in the summer time. I am staying on Island until October when I return to school. I would love to meet some special critters before I leave the rock! I care for pets the way the owners see fit.
