Your pet’s comfort and safety always come first. 🐾 I work full time on Bainbridge island but can walk dogs during the day and give lots of love and attention afternoon/evenings and weekends. 🐾 I provide care both in my home and at your home, depending on your pet’s needs. I have a yard (unfenced) and use secure leads for supervised outdoor time. I can also crate dogs if that’s part of their routine-plus plenty of playtime and attention

I follow your instructions closely, from feeding and medications to preferred routines and house rules. About: Hi, I love all pets! I provide the utmost care for your pet in my home or yours. I know how difficult it can be to make plans to leave your fur babies as I have one of my own. When I travel, my plans always involve finding a great person/place to leave my dog. I usually can't relax on a trip unless I know for certain my pets are well taken care off, in other words, taken care of, like I would take care of them. My dog is a rescue that I adopted from a shelter and she has very specific needs, like only going potty on a leash because she is blind. Despite the extra stuff I have to do for her, I wouldn't trade her for the world! She is fantastic with other dogs, cats, and birds, as she has been around all and gets on well with all of the above. I am excited that there is now a service like this where I can leave my dog with a trusted person and offer the same in return. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! -Cyndy I work from home so I’m home all day with my own doggo. We love to have other dogs around. My dog is laid back and not overly social with other dogs so it’s nice to have other dogs around. I have a fenced back yard. My dog is also crate trained. Our neighborhood has sidewalks and we take frequent walks, although she prefers to be carried in her dog backpack.

About: I grew up around animals, working on my grandparents’ ranch and helping to care for horses, cows, sheep, chickens, ducks, cats, and dogs. I’ve always found working with animals to come quite naturally for me. I first began pet sitting during high school, and in recent years I’ve fostered for a few local rescues, taking care of and helping to socialize dogs who are up for adoption. My husband and I adopted our own rescue, Leroy, in February 2020 before the pandemic and are so grateful we did! I work from home during the week, and enjoy breaking up my workday with nature walks. Leroy and I love spending time with other dogs, and especially enjoy taking them with us to explore our beautiful neighborhood! I tend to talk often to Leroy and the dogs I’m caring for, and treat them more like little humans. The dogs I grew up with were treated like members of the family, and I will treat your dog with the same kindness and respect. Since I work from home, my schedule is flexible and adaptable depending on the needs of the dogs I’m caring for. As an example of my routine for my own dog, I usually take Leroy for a morning walk, a lunchtime walk, and another longer hike or beach walk in the afternoon/early evening, plus a short potty walk after dinner. Depending on whether your dog is dog-friendly or not, I can care for them together or separately. I prefer to visit for a meet-and-greet before scheduling any bookings, so that I can get to know you and your pet in your environment. I like to have an in-depth understanding of their typical daily and nightly routine, so that I can stick to it closely during my stay. My goal is for our time together to be as comfortable for your pet as possible, which I think means disrupting their comfort zone as little as possible. I will follow your directions to a tee, and be in contact with updates regularly to keep you informed.
