We were nervous to leave her for so long but our nerves were immediately calmed when we met them and, further, received regular updates with sweet photos of our dog looking right at home with them. Alisha even went above and beyond and drove her home while we were navigating customs, long term parking shuttles, and the ferry home after a very long travel day coming from Southeast Asia. We had a happy, well cared for dog waiting for us when we arrived. About: I have cared for my own dog, Jolene for 4-years. She’s a well-tempered chocolate Labrador always eager to make best friends with your furry kid! Large green yard for fetch and zoomies, daily hikes can be included if preferred! I work remote full-time, Monday through Friday (8-5pm), however have plenty of time to provide bio-breaks, play-time, and walks! I have 2 large outdoor living spaces (deck and covered front porch) that are baby gated. Even when they’re inside, they will have the perks of being outside! Dogs are welcome to lounge on the decks benefiting from the sounds and smells of the forest. Large and laundered memory foam dog beds provided on the deck. Multiple water bowl stations throughout the house. Depending on your preference, I can take your loved one outside on a leash during the day for potty breaks and then take them to Strawberry Hill dog park for play-time / hiking trails OR if you trust your dogs command responsiveness, we can go and play outside off leash. House set 100-150’ off the road. Dogs never let outside unsupervised.

About: I’ve always had a pet dog growing up. My first was a standard poodle, with a sensitive tummy. Then I moved to California, and took care of my childhood dog for 3 years. A maltipoo who has grown older, needing walks once a day, and his meds. I moved back to Washington, welcomed by a pitty with lots of energy, and a puppy with potty training issues. During that time I walked 3 of my neighbors dogs to make cash. Currently I live with a ball python, a curious girl, and an anxious rat terrier who requires 3 walks a day and meds. Because I’ve moved around a lot I’ve learned to adapt to the animals around me and what they need. Nothing beats the feeling of caring for an animal. Im currently going to community college, so it’s safe to say I’m free Friday-Sunday, I can also make time during the work week but it is something I need to discuss! I also have my own pets that I’m required to take care of because my folks are away for long periods of time so I’m available 10-3:30pm and 4:30-8:00pm and after 9pm I’m m available for late night visits! Hopefully not too late :) Since my dog is very anxious, and raised in covid times, he’s not very sociable with others. I’d love to walk them, wipe them down, give meds/play/cuddle with them. I think I’m pretty good at reading animal body language so I’ll be able to assess what your animal needs from me, ensuring they’re as comfortable as possible!

About: I've been caring for dogs since I was a teenager, and they've always held a special place in my life. I had my beloved dog, Chico, for 16 wonderful years before we eventually lost him to old age and health issues. Although he was small, he had a HUGE personality and was basically my sidekick. He went just about everywhere with me: dog parks, camping, hiking, beach adventures, road trips, and yes, probably more dog-friendly pubs than the average dog. 😂 At the beach, his absolute favorite activity was sniffing every single piece of driftwood like it contained critically important information. And after all those adventures, he was happiest snuggled up next to me under approximately 47 blankets. Caring for Chico through every stage of his life, from an energetic young pup all the way through his senior years, gave me firsthand experience with how much a dog's needs can change over time and how much love, patience, and companionship they deserve along the way. Over the years, I've also become the go-to person for friends and family when they need someone they trust with their dogs. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pup's personality because, as any dog person knows, they ALL have one! After 16 years with Chico, our home definitely feels a little too quiet without a dog in it. Getting to welcome other people's pups into our lives and give them some of that love we've been missing is something my whole family really enjoys. So while you're away, there's a pretty good chance your dog will be getting spoiled with attention over here. 🐾 My schedule is very flexible, so I have plenty of time to spend with the pups in my care! My main daily routine is getting my kids to and from the bus stop, which is close enough that we can easily walk when needed. I'm home throughout most of the day, so pets in my care won't be spending long stretches of time alone. I have plenty of flexibility for boarding, daycare, walks, and drop-ins, and I'm excited to fill some of that extra time caring for new furry friends! Your pet's safety and comfort will always come first! In my home, pups are welcomed into our everyday family life and treated like one of our own. We have a spacious, fully fenced backyard where they can safely get outside throughout the day. We currently don't have any pets of our own after losing our beloved dog, Chico, after 16 wonderful years together. We definitely miss having a pup around and love getting the chance to give our furry guests all that extra love and attention while they're here! I'll follow your dog's feeding, medication, potty, sleeping, and other care instructions as closely as possible. I also understand that some dogs settle in immediately while others need a little extra time and space to feel comfortable, and I'm happy to follow their lead. I'll follow your instructions closely and always make sure doors, gates, and other areas are secure. And of course, expect photo updates! About: I have had pets my entire life dogs, cats, rabbits and horses. I am comfortable around every type of dog, however prefer to sit smaller dogs up to 25lbs. I have a mini dachshund who is 16 years old, who misses having friends around. I am familiar with puppies through seniors. I do work from home 4 days a week. Currently I have an unfenced yard, I use retractable leashes to maintain safety when outside. Your fur-baby will get daily walks and plenty of love. I work from home 4 days a week, giving me the opportunity to give your pet plenty of attention in an adults only home with one dog for companion time. We do daily walks around the neighborhood, in a wooded area or at Manchester state park. I don’t currently have a fenced yard, outdoor time will be on retractable leashes for potty breaks, time on the fenced deck, and daily walks using your pets regular leash. Should pets need to be left home unattended I will ensure everyone is in safe, separate locations close enough companionship but not mischief. Safety and well cared for is my goal.

I connected with Keith, and he's been such a great help! Fat Boi is shy and very attached to me, he's prone to getting a little depressed when we aren't together, but Keith helps to enrich his days and gives him some extra socialization. Fat Boi gets to people watch out from the balcony, and go on walks to see the water, and enjoys some great snacks while hanging out with Keith! I'm grateful that he's been there to look after Fat Boi and give him attention while I'm at work. About: I’ve always had a pet dog growing up. My first was a standard poodle, with a sensitive tummy. Then I moved to California, and took care of my childhood dog for 3 years. A maltipoo who has grown older, needing walks once a day, and his meds. I moved back to Washington, welcomed by a pitty with lots of energy, and a puppy with potty training issues. During that time I walked 3 of my neighbors dogs to make cash. Currently I live with a ball python, a curious girl, and an anxious rat terrier who requires 3 walks a day and meds. Because I’ve moved around a lot I’ve learned to adapt to the animals around me and what they need. Nothing beats the feeling of caring for an animal. Im currently going to community college, so it’s safe to say I’m free Friday-Sunday, I can also make time during the work week but it is something I need to discuss! I also have my own pets that I’m required to take care of because my folks are away for long periods of time so I’m available 10-3:30pm and 4:30-8:00pm and after 9pm I’m m available for late night visits! Hopefully not too late :) Since my dog is very anxious, and raised in covid times, he’s not very sociable with others. I’d love to walk them, wipe them down, give meds/play/cuddle with them. I think I’m pretty good at reading animal body language so I’ll be able to assess what your animal needs from me, ensuring they’re as comfortable as possible!
About: I will often take the extra step with animals to make sure that the anxiety or sadness they may feel is settled when their owner is away. I also have experience with senior animals, and kittens/puppies! I am completely free most of the time! I’m a student at the University of Oregon, because of this I have a flexible schedule in the summer time. I am staying on Island until October when I return to school. I would love to meet some special critters before I leave the rock! I care for pets the way the owners see fit. I will follow instructions, and ensure that the time the critters are with me will not be different from their daily routine.

About: I have cared for my own dog, Jolene for 4-years. She’s a well-tempered chocolate Labrador always eager to make best friends with your furry kid! Large green yard for fetch and zoomies, daily hikes can be included if preferred! I work remote full-time, Monday through Friday (8-5pm), however have plenty of time to provide bio-breaks, play-time, and walks! I have 2 large outdoor living spaces (deck and covered front porch) that are baby gated. Even when they’re inside, they will have the perks of being outside! Dogs are welcome to lounge on the decks benefiting from the sounds and smells of the forest. Large and laundered memory foam dog beds provided on the deck. Multiple water bowl stations throughout the house. Depending on your preference, I can take your loved one outside on a leash during the day for potty breaks and then take them to Strawberry Hill dog park for play-time / hiking trails OR if you trust your dogs command responsiveness, we can go and play outside off leash. House set 100-150’ off the road. Dogs never let outside unsupervised.
