About: Hello! I have grown up around animals my whole life, caring for a wide variety of fur babies; horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, even birds. I would love to help you enjoy your travels stress free while providing quality care for your pet(s). I have around 10 years of experience around dogs, and three years ago have become a cat owner. I have experience taking care of animals with difficult care schedules and behavioral conditions, as in the past I have volunteered at animal rescues. I provide a gentle approach around animal’s and aim to provide only the best care for your pet! I am a recent college graduate with a very flexible summer schedule. I will be available to check up on your pet during any day of the week, time is not a problem for me. I am new to Rover but am a reliable caretaker for pets of friends and family. I follow care schedules very diligently to ensure your pet is healthy and happy while your away :)
“Zoe did a great job watching my 7 month old kitten! This was the first time she’d been left alone, so I was a bit nervous, but Zoe gave her plenty of love and play while I was gone.”

“Jacob looked in on our young cat for 5 days the first time we left her alone. He is a natural with animals. Our experience was great! Cat did great with him and we would definely book Jacob in the future!”

“Ryan is a reliable, good communicator and has a lovely calming presence around animals that was perfect for our shy kitties. She is a seasoned pet sitter in high demand, and we’re grateful she fit us into her busy schedule!”

About: When neighbors or friends need a dog sitter, I always raise my hand! I love long walks, playing fetch and canine cuddles. I have experience with all ages (young pup to senior). I am taking time to figure out my next professional chapter. While I do that, I have lots of time to put energy into something I love: being with animals. I'm well-versed in using multiple-dog-lead leashes, spending quality time with pets, and being bad cop when a fur baby tries to get an extra feeding.
“Jennifer took care of my sweet pup for a few hours, including a walk, feeding and some play time. She did an excellent job, provided lots of pictures and updates so I knew my boy was safe and having fun. Thank you Jennifer. (I am a Rover employee)”

About: I have always LOVED animals. I grew up with two English bulldogs, and now have a rescue pup of my own (he is 2 now, and dog friendly!). I volunteer at Animal Friends Alliance, a shelter in Fort Collins, so I also have experience with endless breeds and ages of dogs. I love going on walks and runs, so I would love to walk an active pup. I also love watching movies and taking it easy, so I also love more chill pups! I run my own marketing agency and work from home, so dogs are rarely left alone. On weekends the most I am gone is 4 hours at a time. I do crate my dog Bodhi and would prefer that your dog is also ok with crates. I take pet walking very seriously, so your dogs' safety is my top priority. During walks, I stay away from other dogs and know how to redirect reactive dogs as well.
“Dawn was exceptionally persistent when cat sitting my misbehaving Muffin. Spilled her treats on the floor then ate much more than usually allowed only to toss them up later for Dawn to clean up. 🙀 She also had to hide the feather fishing rod as kitty fetched it from top of bookcase and tore it up. Bad -kitty all around.”

“Natalie was prompt, reliable, and took great care of my two cats while I was away! She cleaned up a mess for me when one of them got sick overnight, and was overall a great communicator.”

About: With over 15 years of active pet-sitting experience and a lifetime of caring for animals, I bring compassion, playful attentiveness, and calm confidence to every home I visit. In 2024, I spent four months road-tripping across the U.S., housesitting along the way and caring for 7 cats and 14 dogs in 10 households—ranging widely in breed, age, temperament, and needs. This experience left me especially comfortable quickly building trusting relationships with new animals and adapting to their individual personalities. I have extensive experience with medically complex pets, including administering pills and liquid medications, giving injections, and providing wound care. I understand the importance of consistent routines, detailed observation, and gentle handling when working with animals who require special attention. Whether caring for playful puppies, senior cats, or anything in between, I offer dependable, compassionate care tailored to each pet's unique needs. I work four days a week, Thurs-Sun in the afternoon and evening. On work days, I am available in the morning and late-evening. Mon-Wed I have full availability for all types of care. I prioritize safety and active stimulation for my own pets and those I care for. In addition to maintaining feeding schedules and security, I make sure those animals in my care receive exercise and mental stimulation, depending on their needs.

“We are very happy with the care and communication Emily provided. She even stopped by the vet and picked up a perscription I forgot to get before leaving town. We were able to relax while visiting family knowing our kitty was being well taken care of.”

“So nice and responsive! She kindly offered many services that were beyond the scope of what we booked (we just needed someone to watch our cats but she asked about various house sitting tasks). Our cats seemed healthy and happy when we returned home which is all we wanted :). Would definitely book again!”

About: I am a genuine happy pet loving guy. With at least ten years caring for my own pets (2 cats, 3 dogs). I have my own transportation and have been first aid certified so I know what to look for at the first signs of any trouble with pets. My days and weekends are perfect time for walking and caring for dogs and cat sitting. I work part time at night as a caregiver, but I can plan house sitting around my other work. I like pets and can’t wait to meet yours. I have a big home and am open to one or two animals a week, but no double booking and no outside cats. However, in a client’s home they set the rules and I respect their space.

Mel and Kelly were very thoughtful and caring cat sitters. We met Mel in person before we left so that we could introduce her to Arwen (Kelly was out of town). They came regularly each day, followed all the care instructions that we left, provided fun pictures and videos, took in our mail, and left the house clean and tidy! We appreciated the extra mile that Mel and Kelly went to make sure Arwen felt cared for. Specifically, Arwen tends to hide from strangers, so the first time Kelly came to care for Arwen (with Mel), she hid the whole time. Mel made another attempt later in the day to check in on Arwen. With patience and being sensitive to her scaredy-cat ways, Arwen warmed up to both of them, which made us feel much better leaving her in their care during this trip. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again in the future!
