“Huck had the best time with Trent and Jordan. He made lots of new doggie friends and was taken care of every moment. Lots of cute pics and messages helped me feel like Huck was happy and safe the whole time. Thanks!”

“James is great with our dog Maui! He sends us regular updates on how she is doing with pictures and videos. Maui is always happy to see James and play with his dog so this tells us he is very good to her. We would 100% recommend him!”

“Jennifer went above and beyond to ensure our families fur babies felt loved and comfortable! We received wonderful updates during their time with Jennifer that made my heart and mind feel at ease. I will use Jennifer for any future boarding needs!”

“I am living for a few months near Poulsbo and needed to find a dog sitter in the area. I connected with Brianna and we visited briefly before my trip. I immediately felt comfortable with her. She took great care of Romeo, sent me photos and updates and was easy to communicate with. My dog is small and he got along with their much larger dog. I highly recommend Brianna as a caring dog sitter.”

“Cathleen was amazing. She had great communication and took such good care of our dog. She paid attention to all details and her yard and service was everything she said they would be and more. Thank you!”

“This was our first time leaving our dog Charlie since we lost her big brother, so we were a little nervous. Kevin and Kandace were amazing and very quickly set us at ease! We loved getting pictures to regularly update us on her adventures with them, and she came home happy as can be! Will definitely be booking again in the future :)”

“Casie is amazing! She was so sweet and took great care of my girl! She sent daily updates and pictures, her dog cognac was such a nice boy and played with my girl so good. I will be only using Casie from now on!”

“Brenda was a wonderful sitter for Penny! She was responsive, detail orientated, sent the best pictures, and I could tell she really cared about Pennys wellbeing! Would highly recommend.”

“Alexa and her family were such great hosts and caretakers for our dog Bo - lovely to coordinate with and obviously provided a super good care. Could tell Bo was relaxed and happy from the regular photo/video updates. Will definitely try to rebook with Alexa again soon! 🐾 🦮❤️”

“Fantastic dog sitters. Violet is a lot of work. Melissa and Allan handled all her quirks and funny puppy behaviors. The updated were consistent and so reassuring to me while I was traveling! And Melissa and Allan went above and beyond to hold onto Violet for an extra few hours when my travel plans changed suddenly. Thank you, Melissa and Allan!”

“Ana was absolutely amazing. As someone who misses their pup while traveling, Ana was a dream sitter. Always sharing quick check-ins with photos so I knew my pup was doing just fine. She even took the time to read my dogs profile and understand her little quirks. When I had travel delays she was super communicative, and flexible. From meet & greet to pickup, I had a great experience with Ana, and would definitely recommend.”

“Although my 6-year-old miniature dachshund, Piper, has stayed with friends/family before, this was my first time using a professional service like Rover and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Maria was exceptionally responsive and flexible with timing. She sent plenty of photos/videos/updates during our short weekend trip that truly set our minds at ease. Piper has cerebellar hypoplasia (the wobbly disease) and has trouble with fine motor skills. Maria had no issue altering her care to suit Piper's limitations. She even took Piper out to a cafe in a stroller for enrichment since she physically can't walk far on her own! Considering my partner has experience petsitting for over two decades and I worry (perhaps too much) about the care my dog will receive while I'm away, we were both impressed with Maria and would gladly hire her again to take care of Piper.”

“Peter was great with our dog. He sent pictures each day and told us how everything was going. Our dog got along with his dogs. We will use him again when we need him to care for our dog.”

“Great stuff, easy fast drop off and pickup, was flexible when I needed to change the time and washed my dog when he rolled in poop. My dog is a nervous little guy but he was fine with the whole thing.”

“Danielle and Joy were amazing with Lola! Constantly giving me updates and keeping me posted! I have rebooked with Danielle and Joy and Lola always seem to enjoy her stay!”

Kaia spends one day a week at Cathleen’s for daycare, which lets her socialize with other cute dogs! She gets to play in the yard, go on walks, and enjoy the many comfy spots to just soak up the sun. Most days, she isn’t quite ready to go home, as she has had such a fun time! Saturday, was her first sleepover and it was a huge success! She was given lots of snuggles, sleep time on the bed, and even made a few new dog friends! We knew she was having a fine time as Cathleen sent us photos and a video. Cathleen is such a kind person that I know Kaia will be given lots of love and special care. We always share a laugh or two over something the dogs did that day, their quirky personalities, or how Kaia is starting to think of Cathleen’s as her other home, and that is just perfect. I can highly recommend Cathleen to take excellent care of your furry companion!

Emma was a breeze to work with! She communicated often and timely, she was warm and kind with me and my dog, and she went out of her way to accommodate us. Emma spent the time to meet Izzy and ensure her pups and mine were a good match. She sent lots of photos while we were away and I was confident my dog was in good hands the whole time. I would not hesitate to book Emma again!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
