“Holli our spoiled GWP was so happy during a 3 day stay This was her first time leaving her for that long. Plenty of pictures and updates during daily walks and playing! We will absolutely have Holli stay here again Plus we will refer friends too:)”

“Conor did great with Momo and Maisy! He is professional and kind and loves his doggie guests. He even put a tracker on Momo (Belgian Malinois) since she likes to jump fences. He has tall fences and this didn't become an issue but gave me more peace of mind that he did that without being asked to. Thank you so much!”

“Jenny was wonderful as always. I requested for Jenny's help so I could take my son out of town for his birthday. I have asked Jenny for help multiple times now with my dog and she always provides 6 out of 5 star service (that is not a typo). Muchas gracias Jenny :)”

“Our dog is very nervous leaving us and she immediately warmed up to Kristi. We felt very comfortable leaving Mia with her, which means everything to us. Kristi sent us daily updates and pictures, and quickly responded to texts. We have already booked Mia's next stay with Kristi. Highly recommend!”

“SJ is a phenomenal sitter! We are immensely grateful for her flexibility with our seemingly ever evolving travel schedule. Given 10 hours of travel and intense jet lag from a 16 hour time difference, we truly appreciated SJ’s willingness to bring Ava to us on the Eastside. Thank you SJ!!! You truly are the best around!! We couldn’t have had our amazing vacation without your assistance. We appreciate you!”

“We had the absolute best first experience using Rover thanks to Lorelei and her daughter. From start to finish, she went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable leaving our dogs in their care. Lorelei was incredibly communicative and kept us updated the entire time with photos and videos, which meant so much to us, especially since it was our first time. It gave us complete peace of mind knowing our dogs were not only safe, but genuinely happy and well cared for. Lorelei was also very flexible and accommodating, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. You can truly tell she loves what she does and will treat your pets like her own. We are so grateful and will absolutely be booking with her again. Highly, highly recommend!”

“Really wonderful communication and care! Pendry came home pooped from all the play time!! I think he had the time of his life! Thank you so much!”

“Jill was fantastic. Mable got all of the love and attention she would normally get at home and then some! Jill was great at sending us picture and video updates. Definitely will be using her again in the future.”
“Kristina and her family are amazing! They treated Luna like family and even let her sleep in the kennel in their room. They are so accommodating and flexible. They sent us texts and pictures daily to let us know that she was doing well. I would recommend her to anyone and will definitely be returning! We appreciate you guys more than you know.”

“Elizabeth was amazing with our reactive dog Chicken. She is extremely kind, communicative, and reliable. Chicken is an Aussie and they can be selective with new people and she did great with Elizabeth and her family. She sent regular updates and photos which was super helpful. I can tell Chicken feels really comfortable and well taken care of when she’s at Elizabeth’s.”

“Don is amazing! Super communicative and accommodating. Sent us pictures and updates of our pupp. Super easy to coordinate with. We will be regulars for overnight stays!”

“Ali is an INCREDIBLE dog caregiver and overall human being. She took so much time and care into taking care of my beagle, Buddy. We received daily photos and videos which made me feel assured that he was in good hands. Buddy even cried when we came to pick him up because he was gonna miss Ali and her cute pup, Pepe!”

“Philip was so good with our first doggy (1 yr old puppy) and his care was excellent with our second (3yr old choc lab). Steve had lovely park walks, mental stimulation and came back very happy doggie. Highly recommend!”

“We are extremely happy with the care our pet sitter and this wonderful family . From the moment we met them, we felt reassured, and they truly exceeded our expectations. They took such loving and thoughtful care of Prince, treating him like their own. He was not just looked after, but genuinely happy—getting plenty of exercise with runs, lots of affection, and constant attention. We especially appreciated how neat and clean they kept him and all his belongings. Their beautiful gals took wonderful care. Prince can be a bit of a fussy eater and needs some encouragement during mealtime, but they handled that with great patience and care, making sure he was well-fed and comfortable. They truly went above and beyond, taking care of him even more than we had asked. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such capable and caring hands. We would absolutely recommend them and will definitely be going back to them again!”

“Kevin and his partner took great care of our dog, Ozzy. We got nice pics everyday, so we could see how he was doing. They took Ozzy on walks, and the communication was excellent. The whole process was smooth and easy. I highly recommend Kevin.”

“Always happy Winston is with Sofia when we are away! Sofia accommodates our schedule so well and takes the best care of Winston. It has been a great match for everyone!”

“I highly recommend Laure & Matthew! Their house is on a quiet street with a big backyard and I received pictures and updates daily. My dog, Gracie, is a rescue with a few issues - she has 3 legs, is food obsessive, has a high prey drive for squirrels, and doesn’t like to walk on wood floors (lol). They worked with all of her quirks and I knew she was well taken care of. In the future, I will rebook with Laure/Matthew to watch Gracie anytime I’m out of town - I’ve already rebooked for next weekend!”

“Nathan was an awesome Rover. He was easy to communicate and flexible for drop off and pick up. Hazel enjoyed her visit! Nathan provided great updates and photos that showed Hazel having a great time. Would highly recommend.”

“Best in class care! Thank you Melodie and family for caring for Mocha. I can tell she had a great time. Timely responses, frequent pics and great updates. Highly recommended.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Indianola
Elizabeth is a gift to the dog-loving world! Before we locked down our booking, she met us at a local dog park with her dog. We got to know each other and the dogs got to know one another as well. It was a really nice thing to do. Our dog's stay with Elizabeth was a doggy dream. Our pup went on daily walks, played outside with children and got lots of scratches behind the ears. We received pictures along the way, so we could enjoy the ride. We are so grateful to have found Elizabeth and we can't wait to go back!

Ashley is our favorite—Joni’s and mine. She so incredibly competent, she has this knack for taking the best in-motion and candid pics of Jo (and then sending them to us right when we need a fix) and her property is Jo’s favorite place on earth I’m pretty sure. We’re big fans.

Thank goodness I found Michelle, she provides a calm, spacious and secure environment. My dogs love it there- dog beds and toys all over the place. She is very competent, and I am 100% at ease leaving my pups with her. My dog Littles has a ton of triggers, and Michelle provides a relaxing environment for her. In addition I am confident that if Littles (who is a staffy) did have a manic episode Michelle could handle it.

Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
