We live on almost 2 acres that is fully fenced with 5 foot no-climb horse fencing, and have access to a private tree farm with walking trails right off of our property. I have 1 sweet dog that enjoys the company of other friendly dogs but we also have the ability to keep your animal separate. We have a fully finished downstairs (1,000 sq ft) and can keep your pets completely separate from ours. Our little farm is complete with chickens, goats, mini horses, and one full size horse, but all the animals have their own areas to keep everyone safe.

I love to work with dogs physically and mentally. I regularly work dogs through our miniature agility course, do sniffaris on the property or on the tree farm, and even love to take dogs for a run (on leash of course) through North Heritage Park. I enjoy training fun tricks and working on things with each dog, that will help them be even more successful in life!

I’ve been training dogs and working with animals since I could hold a leash, spending most of my childhood weekends competing in dog agility, herding, and obedience. Professionally I have been working in animal shelters for ten years, working with shelter animals through fear free training. I have been in roles in animal care, behavior and training, adoptions, enrichment hands on oversight of a shelter, and up until recently running a full Behavior department. I have worked with thousands of dogs with behavioral quirks including jumpy/mouthy behavior, impulse control issues, reactivity, extremely fearful/stranger danger tendencies, and general puppy socialization. I’ve also worked with thousands of cats, many that are shy/fearful and many that have overstimulation quirks. As a walker and sitter, I will give your animal as much patience, care, and kindness as I give every shelter animal.

Ashley is our favorite—Joni’s and mine. She so incredibly competent, she has this knack for taking the best in-motion and candid pics of Jo (and then sending them to us right when we need a fix) and her property is Jo’s favorite place on earth I’m pretty sure. We’re big fans.
