About: Lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience! I grew up with multiple dogs and have spent years walking and caring for pets, including overnight stays. I’m comfortable with different routines, energy levels, and personalities—and I always make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and cared for. Mondays–Wednesdays are my off days and my most flexible time. I work Thursday–Sunday afternoons starting around 2, and my mornings are usually reserved for staying active—walks, workouts, or anything that gets me moving. I don’t have pets currently, but I’ve grown up caring for family and friends’ dogs and I’m comfortable with most breeds, prioritizing calm, safe, attentive care.

About: I had previous experience with working in a doggy day care for about 5 years. The last 3 years i have been a veterinary technician assistant, assisting with animals of all sizes! I currently do work full time. I could probably fit in an evening walk, let’s chat about it! I am free to do the weekends. I have a lot of animals! I have 3 dogs( 2 are large and ones small), and 5 cats! All of my cats are indoor only, they have 3 cat trees and several liter boxes for them. I live on 2.5 acres and my dogs have really good recall, we don’t have any issues with the big ones running off, (the little one sometimes does but only if you arnt watching, which means I’m always watching). I have a pond and couldn’t let it go to waste so i added ducks and geese! One of my cats gets medication, two of my dogs gets medication as well. I trim all my cats nails, one of them i have my husband hold for me because it’s not his favorite thing in the world. I trim all my dogs nails. My little dog gets bathed every 3 weeks (he has really bad allergies). I’m really open to getting to know any animal!

“Shelby is an excellent sitter. We burdened her with a litany of tasks for our three cats: litter boxes, food, water, water fountains, meds, and she handled them with professionalism and efficiency. She got her share of surprises too, including some cat vomit. Again, not rattled. Shelby did everything we asked of her, and was so attentive to our cats, playing with them in between tasks and sending boatloads of pictures. Her report cards are detailed and yet concise. Highly recommend her.”

I have my own transportation and have been first aid certified so I know what to look for at the first signs of any trouble with pets.
