“Shelby did a fantastic job taking care of the pups. Our pups loved her instantly. She even was able to do a last minute adjustment and was very accomidating. Highly recommend.”

“I feel confident when I leave for work that my dog Gemma is in great hand with Karen, Karen is a great communicator, and responsive to request to care for you pet. I’m fortunate to have found her on Rover!”

“Izzy did a fantastic job with our dog. She made sure he was well exercised, had plenty of water, and fed him dinner. She even left our porch light on for us so we wouldn’t come back in the dark. Would definitely recommend and use again!”

“Lisa is absolutely amazing! We have left our 2 cats and 2 dogs with her several times, and would not trust anyone else with our fur babies. I never worry about them when they’re in her care. She goes above and beyond in seeing that their needs (and wants) are met and that they have lots of attention and a sense of peace and security while we are gone. I love that she leaves detailed notes and photos, and checks with me if she has any questions or concerns. I wish I could give her more than 5 stars!”

“Ashley is our go-to cat sitter, she’s a great communicator and always includes multiple photos in her reports. We really appreciate her service and will definitely be booking again in the future!”

“Our dog Leo is very delicate, and old. We needed help nearing navigating care, and work. Ryland really has been a great person to step in and help us. He is kind and patient.”

“Thomas was absolutely fantastic, easy to work with on scheduling, great to chat with during our meet and greet, and took great care of my cat. It was an incredible relief having him check up on Jasper while I was away, and warmed my heart to get pictures and updates for the extra reassurance.”

“Alana was wonderful and took care to give my active cat everything he needed while I was away! She was also very communicative even with the time difference and app issues.”

“Kyrna was great with my pup! She followed instructions well and was flexible with my adjustments, and I could tell my girl was happy from their time together. I hope to use her services again in the future!”

About: I am a genuine happy pet loving guy. With at least ten years caring for my own pets (2 cats, 3 dogs). “Chantelle was so kind and attentive. She was attentive to my cat, Chiari, provided updates, and played with her. I’m so grateful for her help and care. Definitely would recommend booking with her!”

“Brandi was just such an awesome blessing during our trip to western MA! I did write a review at the time (May, 2019), but the internet access was shaky and obviously it didn't go through, but she earned our highest possible recommendation. She was highly professional and intuitive with our very private Irish Wolfhound puppy, Aoife. Aoife had a great time. She didn't seem to notice we were gone until we returned, which was just awesome, as we felt very guilty when we left her in a strange place. I would trust Brandi with any living creature. I know she will be moving on to a rewarding career, but if she's still sitting/walking the next time we're in that area, we will definitely try to book her again!”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Indianola. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
