About: Hi! My name is Samantha! I grew up around 2 Dalmatians & 2 basset hounds. I have always enjoyed being around dogs, especially taking them on their walks. I love how excited they get! I am a former volunteer at Arizona Animal Welfare League & SPCA, of which I was a kitten foster parent. I am also experienced in administering medications to both cats & dogs. I look forward to meeting your dog & taking them on happy walks! I’m currently working full time, so I am available after 5 PM on weekdays. I’m available during *most* weekends, so your fur baby and I will have plenty of time to play and walk! I have a fenced yard that is locked (key required) and secured shut at all times, so your fur baby will be safe. I also have a cat who is friendly to other animals. He is up-to-date on all vaccines and is neutered. I’m just a quick walk to Discovery Park, so your doggy will have plenty of room to adventure on our walks!

“Our dog Sofia had the BEST time at Karen and Mark's. Sofia has been very isolated from other dogs during the pandemic, and we were a little concerned when we heard that they were watching two other dogs as well. But Karen promised to keep Sofia separate from the others-- something that she did until it became clear to her that Sofia and the other dogs WANTED to get together and play. Karen reported this change in full to us, kept her clearly practiced and experienced eye on the situation, and the result was that Sofia ended up having a great time playing "catch me" with the others. She was happy when we picked her up, and once home-- fell into a deep and peaceful sleep. We're going to do this again.”

She watched my VERY active 1 year old chihuahua terrier mix while I was at work and my WFH husband was out of town. My dog requires frequent potty breaks and lots of play so I was worried that my pup might be too much trouble... but Elle H. handled all of my pup’s energy with ease. I’m an essential worker with an early start time so not many kennels or dog day cares are open early enough for me to drop off and get to work on time. Elle H. was always ready for drop off even though it was so early in the morning. My dog ran to Elle H. with her tail wagging so I know she was having fun. Our time with Elle H. was a positive experience for both of us. We are hoping to visit her again when my husband travels in the spring.”
