About: Hi! My name is Maya. I am 28 years old and grew up on the island. I’ve had animals all my life and know how to care for and pamper them. I believe our animals are additional family members and are to be treated with the same respect and love we give to our human family members. I love long walks on the beach (or forest or neighborhood), playing fetch, and just generally loving on your animals. I currently have medically sensitive pets so I am capable and adept at giving medication, surgery recovery, food allergies & skin issues and more. I do full time animal care so have a fair amount of flexibility in my day! I am able to do early mornings and late nights on request. I have one friendly dog, but unless you request a playmate for your dog, or we discuss beforehand, they will stay home. I am very good with instructions/taking notes if you don’t leave set instructions. I will respect your wishes and always be communicative if an issue arises. I believe you know your pet best and I will respect your wishes down to the T whether that be in regards to their walks, their feeding, their home treatment or anything else. When the weather cooperates, I love taking dogs on peaceful neighborhood walks, and I can provide baths if needed as well. *Important: I do have a 1 year old at home, so I’m only able to host dogs who are gentle and comfortable with young children. Safety and a calm environment are top priorities in our home. Safety: Your dog’s comfort and safety , and my family’s, are my top priorities. I do slow, careful introductions with my dogs, or no introductions if requested. Gated “safe spaces” are always available. I follow all feeding, medication, and care instructions exactly as given.

I can continue or begin house training, crate training, and basic commands with a gentle, positive reinforcement style. My husband, Bryce, and I work together as a team to care for your pets. We both have years of experience with dogs of all breeds and personalities, and we make sure every pup feels safe, loved, and part of the family. Living with a Great Dane has taught us how to handle giant breeds with confidence, while also being just as comfortable with the tiniest pups. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or reinforcing training, you can count on both of us to give your pets the attention they deserve. We know how important it is for dogs to have interaction and not feel alone. That’s why we only offer pet care knowing that one of us will always be home. Andrea is home all day Friday through Sunday, and Bryce works remotely from home Monday through Friday. Together, that means your pets get consistent love, attention, and companionship every day of the week. We have a large, fully fenced yard that is perfect for lots of running and play time. Our sweet Great Dane, Mercedes, and two children will shower your pet with love and attention!

About: I’m a farm raised girl with years of animal care practice, dogs, cats, chickens, horses, goats, and donkeys. I’ve always had pets in my life and claimed the role of family dog trainer. Pets are my happy place, and I love spending time loving on dogs and cats so their owner feels more comfortable leaving home. My dog Pongo is very special to me and I know the pain of leaving him behind when it’s necessary, and also know the joy of finding someone with a big heart to care for him when I’m gone. I’m that girl with the big heart that will love and care for your furry loved ones so you can be comfortable leaving home knowing they’re well cared for. I spent a year volunteering at West Sound Wildlife which gave me experience tending to wounded animals. I’m well versed in giving animals medications and following strict diets. My schedule is very flexible at the moment which means I’m able to make your animal a top priority. I work at a local restaurant but my shifts aren’t long, at most I’ll be out of the house for five to six hours. I love getting to know each pet, what their needs are, and how to best meet those needs while I care for them. If tons of love and snuggles are required I’m happy to oblige, but I also understand the different boundaries of each individual animal and how to navigate them to earn trust. My dog Pongo gets 4-5 walks per day, some are sniff walks for mental exercise, and others are to throw a stick in the woods for him to let some energy out.
