About: I have many years of experience caring for animals. My own dogs are very old and no longer enjoy walks so I started walking dogs in my neighborhood. It truly is a passion. I am a retired Mother of 3 whose children are all grown up. Aside from helping my elderly Mother and walking my neighbor's dog my schedule is wide open. I am high energy and walk many miles a day. 10 years ago I hired a family member to stay with my pets for 2 weeks. It was the first time I trusted someone to watch my animals. The first time I had been away from my dog. I couldn't get a hold of her so I sent someone over to check on them on the 3rd day. There was a gigantic pile of dog food on the floor and feces and urine everywhere. My poor dog was entirely alone and one of my cats was missing. I was devastated when we came home to discover my cat had passed away from being locked in a hot garage. that was the last time we took a vacation without our pets along. All this to say I know how important it is to have trustworthy pet care and I pride myself on providing it. I also recognize the importance of communication between client and provider.

We have a grassy, flat front yard lined with trees with an anchored run for dogs to play and explore. We live close to several parks with great trails for walking. Whether your pup is high or low energy, I can accommodate any needs for exercise.

Today is no different as I have my own dog Kronos and work closely with a professional dog training business to help assist in boarding, basic obedience training, dog walking and bathing when needed. I work full time only 3 days a week, giving me 4 days a week of unlimited time for me to spend taking care of your furry best friend for you. I host a small amount of pets at a time to ensure quality time and care for your pet(s). BEFORE BOOKING: I would love to meet with you and your furry best friend(s) first to ensure it will be a good fit for you :) I currently work full time only 3 days a week, therefore I have unlimited time 4 days out of the week to care for your furry best friend. CALENDAR AVAILABILITY: Please note the Rover Calendar is set for my available days for drop in visits and dog walking services only. If you are inquiring about boarding directly please message me as I have unlimited and open availability 24/7 7 days a week at this time. I live in a house with a fenced in backyard for easy potty breaks and play. There is a small park area in my neighborhood as well. My neighborhood is friendly and easily accessible for walks. I live close to a lake so leisurely dog walks and/or play can take place there as well. I own a dog pacer (dog treadmill) if poor weather conditions are in place so your furry friend can still get their exercise in and their energy out. My own dog who is a service dog is fun, high-energy and loves to play, run, and go for walks so we likely would be accompanied by him too. My vehicle is dog friendly with a kennel in the back for safety during car rides to go places if you and your furry friend prefer. I have kennels in my home and elevated dog beds to ensure a safe place for your furry friend to go. For boarding, your dog MUST be crate/kennel trained. This is import to ensure safety, decompression, rest and a less stressful environment in an unfamiliar place.
