About: I grew up with a dog and 2 cats. Our dog was a beagle who joined our family around the time I was 3, so I spent my whole childhood playing with, cuddling with, and taking care of a dog. I also helped my parents train him with clickers and treats (positive reinforcement). I have also spent the last about 7-8 years taking care of my friends’ pets when needed. I’ve taken care of a friend’s boxer/hound/etc mix (while caring for her family’s 5 cats), another friend’s bulldog/boxer/etc mix, my sister’s coonhound mix (at ages 2 years and younger), and assisted my sister with taking care of some dogs when she was previously on Rover (senior chihuahua, and a couple mid/large-sized dogs). Additionally, I started volunteering with Kitsap Humane Society over the last few months and have really enjoyed walking a large variety of dogs there. I love cuddling with dogs, getting them outside in the fresh air, and just spending time with them in general. Plus, I’ve got a bachelor’s in psychology, so I’ve got plenty of behavioral science knowledge. I have a fully remote job, so I am almost always home. With that flexibility, I will have plenty of time for going on walks, having some play time, and giving your sweet dog love and attention. On weekends, I love to get outside for a run or walk and would be happy to bring your dog with me if they enjoy getting some good exercise in. I don’t have any pets in my home, but am not able to offer boarding at my house due to my boyfriend’s allergies. In your home, I am always happy to do whatever is best for your dog. If they like going to a specific dog park, like walking on trails, need specific sorts of activity, etc., please let me know and I am happy to do whatever I need to do to keep them happy and comfortable while you’re gone. About: I have always owned pets growing up, and fostering kittens from PAWS was a huge part of my childhood. I have a golden doodle that I took a large part in training and bringing up and going on long walks is my favorite activity! Taking care of my two cats has always been my responsibility as well. About: I had previous experience with working in a doggy day care for about 5 years. The last 3 years i have been a veterinary technician assistant, assisting with animals of all sizes! I currently do work full time. I could probably fit in an evening walk, let’s chat about it! I am free to do the weekends. I have a lot of animals! I have 3 dogs( 2 are large and ones small), and 5 cats! All of my cats are indoor only, they have 3 cat trees and several liter boxes for them. I live on 2.5 acres and my dogs have really good recall, we don’t have any issues with the big ones running off, (the little one sometimes does but only if you arnt watching, which means I’m always watching). I have a pond and couldn’t let it go to waste so i added ducks and geese! One of my cats gets medication, two of my dogs gets medication as well. I trim all my cats nails, one of them i have my husband hold for me because it’s not his favorite thing in the world. I trim all my dogs nails. My little dog gets bathed every 3 weeks (he has really bad allergies). I’m really open to getting to know any animal!
