About: I grew up on a farm in Illinois and have cared for animals my entire life. I have always had a dog or cat (or several!) I have cared for family and friends’ pets for many years as well as my own. And my friends have even called me a dog whisperer. I seem to be able to calm the most nervous pups. I currently have a very flexible schedule. I am a writer working on a long book project and have no set commitments during the day except to take my teenager to and from school. I have a large fully fenced yard and two friendly small dogs who love other dogs. We also have chickens and bunnies who live in their own little "barns" on our property, with high fences that protect them. Your pup can come to my house if they want to socialize and enjoy our space or if they do better at home I can come your way.

About: My first post-retirement job was walking dogs, with drop in visits for feeding, walking, and meds. Great job! Was able to hang with dogs, which was nice since our lease wouldn’t allow a dog. Grew up with dogs, and have had lots of cats. Currently co-parenting Hoot, a 13 year old rescue kitty. I’m currently retired and available to pet sit. About: I’ve fostered dogs with the company Animal pad in San Diego, I adopted one of those dogs and I volunteer for the Kitsap humane society. I’m recently out of the Navy and about to start school. Looking for short term income where I can have a flexible schedule on the new journey in my life. About: I have always owned pets growing up, and fostering kittens from PAWS was a huge part of my childhood. I have a golden doodle that I took a large part in training and bringing up and going on long walks is my favorite activity! Taking care of my two cats has always been my responsibility as well. About: I have a flexible eyelash salon schedule I can work around your pets schedule. I’m also an empty nester, so I have no commitments in the evenings to take me away from your fur baby. In AZ I would be able to be with your pet almost all the time. I would like to check out the sea a couple hours a day as I’m planning on moving here, but otherwise I am all theirs!! I currently work full time in a lash salon setting so I can take breaks as needed, go in late or get off early, depending on your pet’s needs. I will need 3-4 weeks notice to guarantee accommodations. That being said I’m typically free 6pm-9am for overnight boarding M-Sat and all day Sunday. I’m can come to you so your pet feels safe and secure in their own environment. I’ve lived alone for 5 years now and I’m quite comfortable. I’m used to juggling 3 kids sports schedules. About: I have dog sat for a handful of people over the years. Some new clients and some faithful returning ones that become family friends. Some have needed medication and lots of walks, some just needed a friend, I love doing anything/everything. I do not currently own any pets and would love to be outside and more active. I would be available to do walks/drop ins around 3:30pm-9pm Monday-Thursday and most times Fridays-Sundays. About: I’ve grown up with dogs in the house at all times, and I love them! I’ve dog-sat a bunch of times and I always enjoy meeting new animals! I live a pretty active lifestyle and can adjust to your dogs needs! I currently work in the morning, getting off around noon (so about four hours) and the rest of the time I’m free! I try for 10k steps a day and like to take my dog for adventures on the weekend! I have one dog, a Swiss Shepard, he’s pretty big but full of energy and loves dogs. He would love to have a play buddy to hang out with! That being said I also have an extra room with a crate if your dog needs a break. Dogs will be separated when I leave just for the peace of mind. I also have a partially fenced backyard and have a dog line installed for quick potty breaks. I take my dog on a walk at least twice a day sometimes more and a bunch of breaks to the backyard whenever he wants, and your dog can enjoy it too!

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
