We’ve cared for the smallest of dog breeds (Havanese and Boston Terrier) to the largest of breeds (Labs/retrievers, German shepherds, Belgian malinois, pit bulls, etc) so we’re comfortable with all dogs! About: I have cared for my own dog, Jolene for 4-years. She’s a well-tempered chocolate Labrador always eager to make best friends with your furry kid! Large green yard for fetch and zoomies, daily hikes can be included if preferred! I work remote full-time, Monday through Friday (8-5pm), however have plenty of time to provide bio-breaks, play-time, and walks! I have 2 large outdoor living spaces (deck and covered front porch) that are baby gated. Even when they’re inside, they will have the perks of being outside! Dogs are welcome to lounge on the decks benefiting from the sounds and smells of the forest. Large and laundered memory foam dog beds provided on the deck. Multiple water bowl stations throughout the house. Depending on your preference, I can take your loved one outside on a leash during the day for potty breaks and then take them to Strawberry Hill dog park for play-time / hiking trails OR if you trust your dogs command responsiveness, we can go and play outside off leash. House set 100-150’ off the road. Dogs never let outside unsupervised.

About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my entire life, and caring for them has always been part of my everyday world. From a young age, my life has revolved around animals and helping them become the best versions of themselves. Some of my earliest experiences were with cats, including a feral rescue named Misty I bonded with closely as a child. I tend to connect well with animals that are more troubled, reactive, or unsure, and I’m often able to bring out their calmer, more trusting side. Later on in my life, my experience expanded significantly through raising and caring for Golden Retrievers. Over the past fifteen years, I’ve gained extensive experience working with animals through long-term, hands-on care. My background as a Golden Retriever breeder has given me perspective on how different animals can be, even within the same breed. Every animal has unique preferences, behaviors, and ways of communicating, and learning to recognize those differences has been a major part of my experience. I’m comfortable managing multiple animals at once and handling a range of needs without becoming overwhelmed. I’m most accustomed to larger dogs, but my experience raising puppies has given me the delicacy and awareness needed to care for smaller animals as well. I’m especially familiar with puppies under six months old, including their unpredictable behavior and the extra attention they require. I’ve also worked with dogs that can be semi-reactive in certain situations. While I’m not willing to take on dogs that are broadly aggressive, I retain the right to assess the dog before accepting. I’m most comfortable with working with dogs that are borderline reactive but not reactive-aggressive. I can recognize signs of stress or reactivity, and can manage dogs that are generally well-functioning but may need thoughtful handling in specific situations. I currently have a flexible schedule and am available for drop-ins and walks throughout the day, generally between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, unless I’m staying at a client’s home for house sitting. I'm currently retired so I have time to spend looking after your pets. I have one dog of my own. A shitzu terrier mix called Penny. I am taking time to figure out my next professional chapter. While I do that, I have lots of time to put energy into something I love: being with animals. I'm well-versed in using multiple-dog-lead leashes, spending quality time with pets, and being bad cop when a fur baby tries to get an extra feeding.

About: In our home, dogs aren’t just guests — they’re family. We live on a quiet private street on Bainbridge Island with a spacious yard, including a securely fenced section — perfect for safe play and fun. Dogs who stay with us are treated like family. We’ve owned many breeds over the years, from Golden Retrievers to Huskies to Terriers, and love meeting each dog’s unique needs. Our two boys (10 and 13) adore visiting pups and keep them busy with games, backyard adventures, and plenty of exercise. Along with playtime in the yard, we take dogs on daily long walks to keep them happy, healthy, and tired in the best way. You’ll get daily photo and video updates so you can see your dog having a blast. We’ll love and care for your dog as if they’ve always been part of our family. As a stay-at-home dad, I’m home most of the day to give visiting dogs plenty of love, attention, and supervision. Mornings start with playtime and a walk to get tails wagging. Throughout the day, we include walks, yard time, games, and plenty of exercise to keep pups happy and engaged. In the evenings, we enjoy long walks at beautiful Battle Point Park or along wooded trails, followed by cozy snuggles to help every dog wind down feeling safe and loved. Your dog’s safety and comfort come first in our home. We have a securely fenced section of our yard for safe, supervised play, and dogs are always leashed when outside that area. Visiting pups meet our two friendly resident dogs gradually, ensuring a smooth and comfortable introduction for everyone. If dogs need their own space, we have plenty of separate areas inside the house to keep them relaxed and stress-free. Someone is almost always home to supervise, and walks at beautiful Battle Point Park or nearby wooded trails give every dog fresh air, exercise, and enrichment in a safe environment.
About: I am a genuine happy pet loving guy. With at least ten years caring for my own pets (2 cats, 3 dogs). I have my own transportation and have been first aid certified so I know what to look for at the first signs of any trouble with pets. My days and weekends are perfect time for walking and caring for dogs and cat sitting. I work part time at night as a caregiver, but I can plan house sitting around my other work. I like pets and can’t wait to meet yours. I have a big home and am open to one or two animals a week, but no double booking and no outside cats. However, in a client’s home they set the rules and I respect their space.
