My typical day M-F has work meetings and projects. This allows for flexibility to play with your pet, offer snuggles, and get outside! Weekends are low key for me and can generally flex to make things work best for your needs.

Safety, trust & environment
I currently don’t have any animals of my own and would love to focus on yours! If I’m house sitting and your pup or kitty likes field trips and mixing things up, and it’s appropriate, we may go on a safe adventure . We sometimes stop over to my place and hike the forest next door , or some other cool trail on the island , or perhaps hit the beach, or a dog friendly store for treats. Otherwise we stick to your neighborhood and routine.

Information Christine R. would like to know about your pet
I want to know what their typical day and routine is like, what their play style is, what kind of training they’ve had and what your expectations about their behavior—Some pups like to pretend they don’t know anything and test when they meet a new person 😆. If I’m housesitting I’ll want to know your house rules and preferences. If we’re taking walks, I’ll want to know the areas of your neighborhood that may make the dog happy or stressed.
A typical day
I love to provide mental and physical stimulation through games and play! We should be tired and happy! Typically we’ll plan the day around what the dogs normal routine is in regards to eating , meds, and potty time. My favorite is couch time and snuggles. If I have work meetings I’ll encourage them to hang out with me during the meeting if they are quiet. But no matter what we make time for chilling out together as “couch potatoes.” Non-work days are a mix of time in the house and getting out for some exercise and maybe errands together.

Pet care experience
I work remotely as a RN, which gives me flexibility to care for your animal and home during the day and night. I have 30 years experience with horses, dogs, cats, and a variety of other farm animals. I’m comfortable with care of puppies to seniors and those with medical needs.

She is wonderful house and dog sitter, and I knew that all went well for them Topher had some fun adventures and our house was well cared for. We appreciate her so much.

Christine was excellent with our dog and cat. She sent photos/ videos and went the extra mile to make sure they were well cared for!

Christine is friendly and communicates well. Definitely will look for her again.

Very reliable, competent, and compassionate! Would definitely rebook if available!
