“Elizabeth and family are always great with Sir Charles! Happy to hear he got plenty of play time and walks while we were away, and we always appreciate all the photos and updates that they send during our trip!”

“This was our first time leaving our 6-month-old Miniature Schnauzer, Shiro, for a vacation, and Jenny gave us absolute peace of mind from start to finish. Her communication is phenomenal. Throughout the weekend, she sent us tons of pictures and videos, along with incredibly thoughtful, detailed updates on his day. It was so reassuring to hear how calmly he settled into her home. Jenny strictly followed all of his specific feeding routines and kept him engaged with training, play, and lovely walks. What truly sets Jenny apart is how she goes above and beyond. It was an absolute pleasure having her care for him, and we will definitely be booking with her again in the future.”

“Conor was great with our pup! He came home happy and tired! Conor worked with Loki on a lead, as he has always been a stronger puller, and we are very impressed by the effort and time he put in to care for our pup. We definitely recommend Conor's services.”

“We are extremely happy with the care our pet sitter and this wonderful family . From the moment we met them, we felt reassured, and they truly exceeded our expectations. They took such loving and thoughtful care of Prince, treating him like their own. He was not just looked after, but genuinely happy—getting plenty of exercise with runs, lots of affection, and constant attention. We especially appreciated how neat and clean they kept him and all his belongings. Their beautiful gals took wonderful care. Prince can be a bit of a fussy eater and needs some encouragement during mealtime, but they handled that with great patience and care, making sure he was well-fed and comfortable. They truly went above and beyond, taking care of him even more than we had asked. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such capable and caring hands. We would absolutely recommend them and will definitely be going back to them again!”

“Thank you for everything Chelsea! You take really good care of Mishka every time and I very much appreciate it. I highly recommend Chelsea to anyone looking for someone to care for their dog.”

“Teanna was a fantastic dog sitter for our Shiba Inu! She sent frequent photos and was incredibly responsive & flexible. We will definitely be reaching out to her for our future trips! 🥰”

“Pippen had a great time, thank you so much for the smooth communication and updates! Would highly recommend to other dog owners looking for care! Thank you Wan and family!”

“Rosa and Jacob are wonderful people who truly are great with dogs! They sent us many pictures and videos daily. Kenji looked very happy which put us at ease being away from him. He looked like he was enjoying his vacation away from us too! We recommend Rosa and Jacob to anyone who needs very caring furbaby sitters”

“Theresa and her family kept our dog while we were on a long trip and treated him as if he was one of their own. She also kept in good communication with me throughout the time. We would highly recommend her for dog boarding.”

“Ali was able to book me on short notice after other plans fell through. She was very responsive and my pup had a wonderful time with her and her family. I'd book with her again.”

About: Hi, my name is Amber-rae, I am 22 years old and animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember — I’ve cared for everything from barnyard animals to beloved family pets since I was 9 years old. Dogs have always been by my side, and I welcomed my very own pup into my life at just 10 years old. With a lifetime of experience, I know how to keep tails wagging, paws moving, and pets happy, safe, and loved. We’ve got two beautiful boy cats at home who are our only pets at the moment. But i often care for my mothers dogs, she has 6 of them, four little Havaneese and two giant mastiffs At home our cats have free roam or the house and are only sometimes locked in their bedroom (the bathroom) because that’s where their food and litter box is. They’re given plenty snuggles and love, especially from my daughter, they love to play and cuddle on her bedroom floor. As for a clients animal, I will follow whichever routine is given for each animal (cat or dog) Whether it’s playing fetch, simply feeding them or going for a walk.
“Our dog is very nervous leaving us and she immediately warmed up to Kristi. We felt very comfortable leaving Mia with her, which means everything to us. Kristi sent us daily updates and pictures, and quickly responded to texts. We have already booked Mia's next stay with Kristi. Highly recommend!”

“My dog Daisy loved staying with Nancy, and her dog Johnny! Daisy can take a bit to warm up to other dogs but Nancy did an amazing job of introducing them so that Daisy felt comfortable in the home, and they played together with Johnny’s toys every day. Nancy sent multiple updates with photos and videos each day which made me so happy. Most amazingly of all, Nancy was able to accommodate my travel home being delayed by a whole day due to a storm, and kept Daisy an extra night with no stress or complications, making it the easiest part of dealing with cancelled flights and delayed travel. I was totally confident Daisy was in good hands and that she was genuinely happy in Nancy’s home, and that was huge!”

“This was my first time using Rover, or any pet sitting service, and I couldn’t have been more content with how easy the process was to book the service. Our sitter, Lorelei, was beyond amazing with our fur baby. She consistently keep us updated with pictures and daily details of their day. It made me feel at ease about traveling without our fur baby. I completely recommend Lorelei and will be booking with her again in the future.”

“Oakley absolutely loves coming to your house! He starts going crazy as soon as we turn off Bothell Way! He can’t get out of the car fast enough! Thank you both so much!”

“I would recommend Marlene. It is clear that she has a heart for dogs and caring for them. I felt that my dog received quality care while with Marlene. I will definitely use her again.”

“Olive was very well cared for by Teri. Also, Teri is a wonderful communicator, she kept me up to speed on how Olive was doing. I felt like Olive was in good hands and I didn’t have to worry about her at all (FWIW, I often worry about Olive when I am away).”

“Nina loved being in Katie's care. She was comfortable and happy. Nina is a rather wary and not very sociable Pomeranian, but she had an excellent stay. Katie kept us informed the entire time, sending photos and videos. I highly recommend her.”

“Catherine and her family were absolutely wonderful with our lil guy, Ruffles. They were responsive, followed the care instructions, and sent multiple pictures and updates daily! We will definitely book with them again”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
