About: What is a home without a dog? I have always had a dog- or a few dogs. They make life good. I live with my husband and our two teenage daughters. We are a fun loving family of four, living on a small (wanna be) farm with our dog Larry and a flock of hens. Larry was a rescue from the humane society- and despite her rough start, she is ridiculous sweet. She can be both playful and lazy- a great combination for a playdate. The house yard is dog friendly- very large and fully fenced. My home is equally dog friendly- relaxed with plenty of room to get comfortable. I have a work from home situation, so your furry friend/family member will get plenty of love and good attention. I (and my family) are very animal - and people- focused. While I will be the primary contact and person in charge of your dog, know that my family will also be available and more than willing to help- we love dogs! Happy to have yours with us :). Your dog(s) will be warmly welcomed into our home- made to feel comfortable and kept safe. Our dog Larry is a part of our family. I similarly care for dogs that I host, as if they were a part of our family, and in a way that you would want - love and attention, exercise and play. All the loves.

About: I’ve been caring for pets and house sitting since I was a kid, with over 15 years of hands-on experience including formal pet care and training. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and if I hadn’t ended up in tech, I probably would’ve become a vet! I work from home full-time, so your pet will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I also have a fully fenced backyard, which is perfect for safe playtime during boarding stays. I have experience with pets of all ages and needs — from energetic puppies to senior dogs who just want a calm, cozy environment. I live with my fiancé and our 2-year-old mini doodle, Bear. He’s about 15 lbs of pure sweetness and loves other dogs, but he’s also very good at giving space to pups who prefer a quieter vibe. “Theresa is a true dog person. I've got 3 different dogs and I will say, they're high maintenance! She is so gracious and understands (she grew up with border collies and labs--border collies also are high maintenance LOL!). I love that she has a force free philosophy which aligns with my R+ positive reinforcement principles. She plays with my mini Aussie and that means a lot because he can literally drive you crazy with his desire for you to throw a ball and play. Currently, we're just going for daycare, but I intend to board with her because her home environment is clean and very dog positive (totally set up for dogs). She does have young children, but they are very respectful. I even got a picture of my Papillon tolerating a few gentle pets. She typically doesn't like children, so this says a lot about Theresa's kids. I highly recommend her care.”

I offer pack walks with my pup as well as solo walks! I have experience with senior dogs as well as puppies! I have volunteered with shelter dogs in the past as well as experience working in daycare facilities and grooming salons! I can offer free bathing and brushing as well as nail and paw trims upon request! I currently am working as a junior groomer and typically am home all day during my days off unless I have something planned! During daycare we spend lots of time playing and going on adventures! I have all the time and attention to give to the pups! I treat every dog like they are my own! I believe every dog deserves the most respect! I give the dogs the highest level of my attention! I make sure to keep pet parents updated with lots of check ins and cute pictures of their pup! :)
