“Lauren was so kind and loving with my Gus! It was the first time I've left him with a pet sitter, and he loved it! I appreciated the video & photos that Lauren sent to keep me posted, Thanks Lauren - Gus will be back! :)”

“Dave took great care of my two dogs. I received lots of pictures and he quickly responded to texts. Finn and Rory came home happy and tired. I would definitely use Dave again!”
“Elizabeth is great. Our GSD Chloe can be a lot, but with the daily walks and the perfect amount of dogs to play with Chloe came home happy and tired. Elizabeth was also super patient with Chloe and helped us figure out how to manage her nervous stomach while we were out of town. Super happy to leave Chloe with her pack!”

“Rachael is a great sitter for our two dogs. She updated us on how they were doing daily. She also responds promptly about any questions I have. She loved on our two babies well while we were away.”

“Sarah is the absolute BEST! Our dog Nilla had a blast playing with her husky Odin. Sarah provided updates throughout the stay, took the dogs out on a hike, and worked with us to do a special pick-up so we could bring Nilla to a family gathering. Can’t recommend her enough!”

“I would, without a doubt, trust Lauren with my cat Jerry. She took great care of Jerry while we were overseas. Thank you so much Lauren, you made our trip a lot easier to be away from him. I know he had the best time with you! We look forward to the next time. ?”
About: I’ve always loved dogs for as long as I can remember. And I have a 2 year old golden retriever, named Honey, and raising him from a puppy to now has been the most rewarding experience. He loves to make new friends!! We live in a spacious 1 bedroom apartment with a large park just 1 block away. We go on 4-5 walks per day and we’d love to have your pup join us! I am currently working from home so my schedule is very flexible during the week. And on the weekends, I can make myself available as well for walks, play time drop ins, boarding, etc. I can guarantee your pet will receive so much care and attention. Please reach out with your specific needs and details for your pet so I can be aware!
“Nancy watched our 3 yr old mini poodle for 2 weeks and gave us daily updates, usually by video. When Curly had a G.I. issue, Nancy let us know and coordinated with our Vet to resolve the issue. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing our dog was in great hands. Curly was his normal self when we picked him up which is what we always hope for.”

“I couldn’t have been more pleased with my entire experience with Rover and Alisha and Joshua. This is the first time using this service for my elderly dog. They made the whole exchange better than I could have asked for. Kind. Responsive. Flexible. Plus my pup seemed so happy when we picked him up after his stay. I LOVED the daily photos and check-ins. Thank you!”

“Mary was very communicative throughout Luna's stay. She sent several photos and a few videos, which reassured us that Luna was having fun. Luna was very anxious in the beginning, but Mary helped her find her own comfy space until she felt more comfortable around the other dogs.”

“Theresa and her family kept our dog while we were on a long trip and treated him as if he was one of their own. She also kept in good communication with me throughout the time. We would highly recommend her for dog boarding.”

“Oakley had an awesome time with Ari! He couldn't wait to get out of the car when we got there and it's very comforting to know he is in such good hands with Michelle and Brian.”

“This is our third time leaving our dog, Bolt, with Rafael and Celeste, and we couldn't be more satisfied with the care they provide! They are incredibly accommodating and always work around our schedule, which makes the whole process stress-free. Bolt always comes back to us happy, healthy, and delightfully tired from all the fun and attention he receives while staying with them. It’s clear they genuinely care about his well-being, and I feel completely comfortable leaving him in their care. We’re so grateful to have found such wonderful sitters and can’t recommend Rafael and Celeste enough to anyone looking for loving and reliable care for their pets!”

“Rachel and Ian are great to work with. They are kind and always go the extra mile. Milo loves being there with Poppy…the photos and videos prove it! Thank you again!”

“Prescilla is great! She took really good care of our 2 year old Shih Tzu. Daily grooming is a must for our dog. Prescilla was more than willing to do that for us while we were away. She sent us regular photos and videos, looking at which we were content that our dog was kept well groomed and well taken care of. We will definitely reach out to Prescilla again for our future needs.”

“Kristi and her family did a wonderful job taking care of our pup. We had lots of updates and pictures throughout his stay. They even went the extra mile to include him in a Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas stocking present. Such an amazing family, we are so thankful for you all!! Highly recommend and will be contact again!”

“Great care once again for our dog! Alicia and her husband are wonderful and we felt so comfortable with the care they gave our dog during a longer trip. We really appreciated the great photo updates every day and our dog came home happy and healthy.”

“Tom communicated each day to report on Rocky. When I returned home, it was clear that Rocky was happy during my absence. Tom was very flexible to meet the needs of Rocky and this was very much appreciated! I would definitely recommend.”

“Laurie was fantastic! She communicated during each visit and sent pictures. I felt very comfortable having Laurie take care of our animals and would hire her again! She is very attentive, caring, and knowledgeable!”

“Bevin left my house clean and tended, all linens washed and replaced, the garden watered and, most importantly, one kitty happy and well cared for. Alister obviously had lots of love and attention showered on him and I feel quite confident that if anything had gone wrong he would have received any care he needed. He's actually showing me when in the day he got love and snuggles, when he had playtime, and he's trying to tell me he had treats any time he asked - but I don't believe that. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bevin as a pet sitter, and will hire her again.”

“Thank you so much! Our cat loves when you visit, and we appreciate all the time you give him and the update photos you send during your visits when we’re out of town.”

“I don’t even have the words for how thankful we are to have found and connected with Jacqueline. We have two felines who are both so precious to us, family members, and Jacqueline took wonderful care of them and of our home. She went above & beyond when one of our cats became ill and she spent the better part of an entire day taking care of his needs. She spoke with doctors and staff, connected me to them and all online paperwork necessary, and when we found out his condition was critical — she took him to a full care hospital. We were in constant communication, it was a long agonizing travel day home for us, and we will be forever grateful for Jacqueline.”

“Ella could not have been a better fit for my timid cat. While he wasn't much for playing, he did find the courage to come out from hiding to see her every day. So grateful for her kindness and patience in watching him while I enjoyed a much needed vacation.”

“Chantelle was so kind and attentive. She was attentive to my cat, Chiari, provided updates, and played with her. I’m so grateful for her help and care. Definitely would recommend booking with her!”

“Margaret is the Best! She took very good care of my cat son Peanut. She even taught him how to “sit” on command. I trust Margaret in my home and in caring for my prescious Peanut. I highly recommend Margaret 😊”

About: I have experience working on this app since around 2017 in the Seattle metro area. I love animals of all kind and have experience with extra large to extra small. I am currently available full time. This means I will stop accepting requests at 40 hours per week. My weekends and weekdays are open for pet care. I will gladly follow all instructions left to keep your fur baby satisfied and safe while you are away during our house sittings and/or visits.

About: Cats are creatures worthy of worship. And demand respect. Whatever age, they are always authentic and unapologetic. I deeply appreciate them, their intuition, instincts, and quirks. I have had them as companions, friends, and tended elder ones. I will happily do drop in visits for people with just cat(s)or both cat(s)and dog(s). My dog will not accompany me for any of my drop in visits.

About: Hello my name is Travers! I love dog sitting because I'm passionate about dogs and like to exercise at the same time. Something different about me is I'm a little shy at first, but very comfortable around animals. My experience with dogs comes from being around them from a young age. My older brother is a big dog person too and he had a black lab puppy when I was young and I loved him ( great dog !) I've never turned down a friend's request to puppy sit... I've been a house painter for many years, and a small scale glass blower, now looking to hopefully get into dog care full time... so I'm very open to schedules and have most days available to puppy sit!... I do not have a yard but I live in dog-loving Queen Anne, where there are always dogs & their caregivers out and about, and some nice little parks & trails. I have a comfortable, clean apartment that allows pets, so over-night stays are welcome. I think some great skills of mine that would correlate well with dog sitting are: I'm very patient, reliable, and can throw a stick really far, lol !!! I hope you give me the chance to win over your beloved pet and your friendship! Thanks

I am currently renting and cannot have pets in my own space so I look forward to giving your pets lots of care and attention.

“Lobo was a huge help for last minute care for my dog over the holidays. He was very flexible and communicative! I really appreciated his willingness to take such great care of my dog Moose when I unexpectedly needed a drop in visit! I will definitely call upon him in the future!”

About: I’ve had two different dogs in my family since I was born. I have been responsible for feeding and cleaning up after my most recent dog. I graduated from the University of Denver and have spent 2+ months in the last year staying overnight to care for clients’ pets and homes. I am young and in fairly good shape, so I can run with dogs if requested! I have experience walking not only my dog, but various friends’ dogs. I get along well with all kinds of animals, but I am most familiar with dogs. Both of my family’s pets have been medium sized dogs, but I have done some dog sitting for both larger and smaller breeds. These span from Shih Tzu to Pitbulls to full sized Poodles. I can’t wait to meet your four legged friends!! I am looking for a furry friend to join me on my after class walks! I typically walk 1.5-3 miles, so hopefully your pup will be tired out I make sure when I come in that there is enough water and/or food in the bowl, then promptly take them outside. I will make sure all doors are completely shut before leaving those sneaky dogs alone!

“While staying in Port Ludlow, we left our pup Lucy with Lauren for an afternoon while we played golf nearby. Her communication in making arrangements was great, and Lucy had a great stay. Thanks!”
“A nice and beautiful family, we felt Nola was much happier stayed with them the entire the day compared to to may different places that we have tried. Mita was very communicative, keep sending us photos and updates. Very satisfied with their service and truly appreciate them to taking care of of our girl.”

About: I’ve been caring for pets and house sitting since I was a kid, with over 15 years of hands-on experience including formal pet care and training. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and if I hadn’t ended up in tech, I probably would’ve become a vet! I work from home full-time, so your pet will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I also have a fully fenced backyard, which is perfect for safe playtime during boarding stays. I have experience with pets of all ages and needs — from energetic puppies to senior dogs who just want a calm, cozy environment. I live with my fiancé and our 2-year-old mini doodle, Bear. He’s about 15 lbs of pure sweetness and loves other dogs, but he’s also very good at giving space to pups who prefer a quieter vibe. If you’re considering boarding, I always want to make sure you’re fully comfortable with him sharing the home. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priority! Work from home, daily care with a wide open schedule! Always happy to go on daily walks and keep your pet company throughout the day. I have a fully fenced yard and a sweet little doodle to keep your pet company. I also work from my computer, so quick to respond to messages and happy to send photos of your pet’s visit!
“I would say my M enjoyed her stay with Jenny. The communication was great, she followed all our instructions and did a good job with our doggie. I'm looking forward to M's next daycare with Jenny!”

“Rachael is amazing with my dog! At first my dog was very shy but over time she has grown to love being dropped off for daycare! She jumps right out the car and goes right in when she realizes where we are at and there’s no better feeling than that. Rachel has always communicated with us daily when we leave our pup for longer periods, sending messages and pictures. She answers all of our questions and concerns from the beginning!”

“Felix is very organized and thorough. He's very thoughtful, knowledgeable and observant, I trust his conclusions on regarding how the dogs behaved. He's also very good about communicating.”

“We've tried many sitters for our dog over the years, but Karissa is the only sitter our dog has ever been excited to see. Karissa and her mom are great with our dog and very easy to work with.”

About: What is a home without a dog? I have always had a dog- or a few dogs. They make life good. I live with my husband and our two teenage daughters. We are a fun loving family of four, living on a small (wanna be) farm with our dog Larry and a flock of hens. Larry was a rescue from the humane society- and despite her rough start, she is ridiculous sweet. She can be both playful and lazy- a great combination for a playdate. The house yard is dog friendly- very large and fully fenced. My home is equally dog friendly- relaxed with plenty of room to get comfortable. I have a work from home situation, so your furry friend/family member will get plenty of love and good attention. I (and my family) are very animal - and people- focused. While I will be the primary contact and person in charge of your dog, know that my family will also be available and more than willing to help- we love dogs! Happy to have yours with us :). Your dog(s) will be warmly welcomed into our home- made to feel comfortable and kept safe. Our dog Larry is a part of our family. I similarly care for dogs that I host, as if they were a part of our family, and in a way that you would want - love and attention, exercise and play. All the loves.
“Super grateful Gargi was able to watch my pup last minute when I went into work this week. I appreciate all the updates in realtime she provided as well. Gargi’s dog, June, and mine became instant pals! By the end of the day I can tell she had fun playing and got some exercise in. Thank you Gargi and June!”

“Andrea and Bryce have been the kindest and most accommodating sitters. Their dog has been very sweet and friendly with my puppy and they were fast friends in no time! They took lots of photos and sent updates throughout the day which really eased my mind and confirmed my pup was in the best of hands. I’m new to the area, and even when they weren’t able to sit for my pup due to schedule conflicts, they recommended another trusted sitter and went above and beyond in helping me out. I feel so fortunate to have found a safe and loving family to take care of my puppy, and I can’t rec them enough!”

“Storm loves coming here when we're in town and I'm pretty sure zi and her pup feel the same way about storm. Always huge smiles and quick tail wags when they see each other. Always contact her first when in the area, highly recommend.”

“Krysten is the best! We feel so safe leaving our Lucy with her. Krysten is very prompt, extremely responsive, and very friendly. We've used her to walk and board Lucy over the last few months and have no complaints.”

“Anita was absolutely wonderful with my puppy, Sky. He had an amazing time with her. She was very attentive and consistently sent frequent updates, including details about his meals and walks, which I really appreciated. It gave me complete peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. Highly recommend!”

I understand dog behaviour, body language, and how to communicate with them. I’m calm, reliable, and genuinely care about animals. I work from home and am available throughout the day. I can take your dog for walks as needed and give them attention and care without long gaps. My schedule is consistent, so your dog won’t be left alone. I have a fenced backyard for safe outdoor time. My senior dog is calm and friendly with other dogs—she’s never had issues and can be good company. I always keep an eye on interactions and make sure the environment stays low-stress and safe.
“Sheena took great care of my guy. She gave a report card with updated walks and activities. She was professional and knew how to work with a large breed dogs. She asked good questions and was attentive to his needs. Would use again!”

“Wow! Cathleen is SO good! Mooch had a very successful first doggie day care and we will have him back. Cathleen is calm, loving and responsible. She is also very in tune with Mooch and his surroundings which contributed to his successful time away. Mooch is a Covid puppy with separation anxiety but you couldn’t tell with his time at Cathleen’s. She is a pro and a great choice ❤️”

“This was our first time on rover and my pup couldn’t have been happier! I got lots of pictures and videos throughout the day which really helped calm my anxiety leaving him with someone other than a family member. Both my pup and I loved Sarah! She very clearly cares so much about the fur babies in her care, and we definitely will be returning in the future!”

“We are so happy to have met Tom! He did a fantastic job taking care of all three of our furry kids and we would not hesitate to have him look after them again. He has also been great about helping us out to walk the dogs if we are away for a day. We appreciate his updates and the sweet pictures he takes. The whole family is now big Tom fans! Thank you Tom!”

“Mary-Elizabeth has been an integral part of our pups' lives for almost a year and a half. She is dependable, extremely prompt with communication, and so great with Emma and Potato. They always get so excited when she comes for walks, and she is such a dog-whisperer that I'm pretty sure they're better with her than they are with us! They also really had fun staying over for a weekend getaway. :) We will always recommend Mary-Elizabeth for anyone in the Seattle area looking for a dog walker!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs from a very young age, and I have been a professional sitter and boarder for a little over 3 years now. I recently moved to the area and am looking to rebuild my clientele. I have experience with hyper pets, shy pets, large and small. I love them all the same. Let me spoil your babies while you’re away, and take comfort in knowing that they are safe and loved with me. I am currently an online student and doing a part time work from home job, so I will be home and available for them all day besides appointments or errands I have a large fenced yard that I make sure to walk the perimeter of to make sure there are no escape points. I also have a huge deck for them to lounge on and they have free roam of my home. I do have a toddler in the home, she is very shy with animals and has grown up learning the importance of being gentle and nonintrusive with them.

“Margaret is extremely conscientious and dedicated. She did say thorough call to understand my dog's behaviors and needs. Since Carly is a dog-reactive rescue with a traumatic history, and we have been working with a trainer, I am always reluctant to have someone new walking her. It's hard to be sure they will reinforce her training and ensure a calm walk, even if they encounter other dogs. Margaret made sure to understand and use the same equipment and commands and techniques we are using to give Carly the exercise she needed while my partner and I were sick. I would have no qualms having her house-sit and stay with Carly. I know she is trustworthy and genuinely cares about the animals she spends time with. I would highly recommend her for anyone, especially those who are nervous about their dogs with others. Carly is friendly and loves all people, and she has a little separation anxiety and more than a little territoriality around other dogs. And yet Margaret handled her expertly and lovingly, gaining both her trust and mine. She even suggested ways to help training progress with fewer treats and more praise as Carly improves her threshold around other dogs. Margaret not only came through on short notice, but she instantly built a relationship with both us and our dog which means she will be my go-to walker and sitter from now on.”

About: I am a pet aficionado. Since I was born my family has had seven Newfoundland dogs (2 at a time), a cat and two rabbits with the occasional fish. I take my dog to the dog park every morning, and love getting active and dirty with her. I have done childcare for sixteen years and taken care of the pets in others homes during this period. From chihuahuas, to horses, to the occasional corn snake and the everyday house cat, I truly enjoy all animals. Dogs just hold a special place in my heart from how social they are, their distinct personalities and all the stress relief from interacting with them, cats because relaxing with a pur or being entertained by a spaz is truly unrivaled and rabbits because their sassy demeanor and cuteness are so much fun. I am doing remote work and my schedule currently is variable as needed. Therefore, I can mostly accommodate the requirements of any client in this regard. I have loved animals since a child, adopting from farms and rescue agencies as well as coordinating with animal welfare organizations. It's genuinely something I enjoy and love to do. I have daily exercise classes for 1-3 hours I will be attending and occasional errands / personal affairs, please expect 3-5 hours potentially away depending on the day. Please note Rover has the settings for 1-4 hour windows of left alone time as the minimum for a purpose; 24 hours for extended periods (days to weeks) for 1 person is not feasible. I will truly spend as much time as I possibly can with your pet, however for quality assurance purposes, bookings expecting 24 hour supervision for the entire sit will not be accepted. Please note indoor cameras and recording devices are illegal in Washington state without 2 party consent. I will not consent due to the nature of my remote work and the jeopardization of my career / long term income. Outdoor cameras are fine. Supervision, double checking locks, bolts and other safety infrastructure and keeping all emergency contacts and expert animal/home security experts on hand. Also person and animal CPR certified. I can guarantee you will come home to a sparkling home, a happy pet, and everything in better condition than you left it. My goal is for you to come home stress free and leaving your animal loved ones in trusted and competent care.
“Risa was responsive and timely. My dogs loved playing with her. She went above and beyond by helping look for them when they escaped from the yard. I would definitely use her again!”

“Will definitely book again!! Kyah was very responsive and my 2 dogs loved the weekend they spent at her house. Followed my older dogs feeding instructions due to her diet and our puppy was well entertained! Definitely Recommend!?”

“Elizabeth was amazing with our reactive dog Chicken. She is extremely kind, communicative, and reliable. Chicken is an Aussie and they can be selective with new people and she did great with Elizabeth and her family. She sent regular updates and photos which was super helpful. I can tell Chicken feels really comfortable and well taken care of when she’s at Elizabeth’s.”

“Sheena took great care of my dog, Uno. She handled introductions between Uno and her own dog really well. She updated me with photos, and Uno looked like he was having a great time. It was clear he was in good hands and well cared for. I’d definitely recommend Sheena to anyone looking for a reliable and attentive dog sitter.”

“Sharon was just the perfect dog sitter. She was responsive, reliable, and truly enjoyed her time with Bella, which brought us great relief as we had nothing to worry about. We were most grateful and would certainly rebook.”

“Nathan was very responsive and accesible all the time that he was taking care of our dog, which I appreciate it very much. He was also flexible with drop off and pick up time. He sent many photos of my dog playing with his dogs in his garden or doing other activities. He provided the medication without any problem to our senior dog. I would recommend him anytime! Thank you Nathan for taking care of our Ella so nicely!!! Looking forward to the next opportunity.”

“Conner did a great job with my high energy pup. My boy was nervous since he hadn't been separated from me much previous to this trip. Conner is very experienced with dog behavior and took great care of my dog and provided lots of updates! He also took my dog out for a bunch of activities!”

“Ellie was a fantastic host to our husky Pepper. She is extremely attentive and made sure that Pepper got enough daily exercise and also plenty of snuggles during their downtime. We love that Pepper gets along so well with Ellie’s sweet dog Bear. Overall our dog had a great time and would absolutely book with Ellie in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Spot says his first visit with Tracy went very well! He’ll be back next week for several days too. He thought she was kind and attentive to his needs. Her backyard was a real treat! Plus the neighborhood walk was safe and pretty with good smells. Spot slept well too. Tracy communicated with me well. Was great about getting information to keep Spot safe and happy.”
