About: I’m a farm raised girl with years of animal care practice, dogs, cats, chickens, horses, goats, and donkeys. I’ve always had pets in my life and claimed the role of family dog trainer. Pets are my happy place, and I love spending time loving on dogs and cats so their owner feels more comfortable leaving home. My dog Pongo is very special to me and I know the pain of leaving him behind when it’s necessary, and also know the joy of finding someone with a big heart to care for him when I’m gone. I spent a year volunteering at West Sound Wildlife which gave me experience tending to wounded animals. I’m well versed in giving animals medications and following strict diets. My schedule is very flexible at the moment which means I’m able to make your animal a top priority. I work at a local restaurant but my shifts aren’t long, at most I’ll be out of the house for five to six hours. I love getting to know each pet, what their needs are, and how to best meet those needs while I care for them. If tons of love and snuggles are required I’m happy to oblige, but I also understand the different boundaries of each individual animal and how to navigate them to earn trust. My dog Pongo gets 4-5 walks per day, some are sniff walks for mental exercise, and others are to throw a stick in the woods for him to let some energy out.

About: I’ve had two different dogs in my family since I was born. I have been responsible for feeding and cleaning up after my most recent dog. I graduated from the University of Denver and have spent 2+ months in the last year staying overnight to care for clients’ pets and homes. I am young and in fairly good shape, so I can run with dogs if requested! I have experience walking not only my dog, but various friends’ dogs. I get along well with all kinds of animals, but I am most familiar with dogs. Both of my family’s pets have been medium sized dogs, but I have done some dog sitting for both larger and smaller breeds. These span from Shih Tzu to Pitbulls to full sized Poodles. I can’t wait to meet your four legged friends!! I am looking for a furry friend to join me on my after class walks! I typically walk 1.5-3 miles, so hopefully your pup will be tired out I make sure when I come in that there is enough water and/or food in the bowl, then promptly take them outside. We are a fun loving family of four, living on a small (wanna be) farm with our dog Larry and a flock of hens. Larry was a rescue from the humane society- and despite her rough start, she is ridiculous sweet. She can be both playful and lazy- a great combination for a playdate. The house yard is dog friendly- very large and fully fenced. My home is equally dog friendly- relaxed with plenty of room to get comfortable. I have a work from home situation, so your furry friend/family member will get plenty of love and good attention. I (and my family) are very animal - and people- focused. When necessary we have gates to seperate upstairs and downstairs areas, so if your pet needs some private time on their own couch, it’s available to them! At your house, I treat your space with the same level of care I give your pets. I’ll make sure the mail is brought in, your plants are watered, the house stays tidy, and the locks are triple checked. Because I work with rescued animals, I’m also very intentional about maintaining your pet’s routine to minimize any anxiety while you’re away. When we’re out, I’m hyper-vigilant about leash safety and harness checks. If your dog is a flight risk or just easily spooked, I have the experience to keep them focused, happy, and secure. I know I need lots of updates when I’m on vacation, so you’ll get plenty of photos from me from each visit! No judgement if you’re a helicopter pet parent, I promise 😉

About: I've had experience taking care of both dogs and cats. My friends and family have often trusted me with taking care of their pets, which included feeding and walking them. With my former dog, I did basic training in commands (i.e. sit, stay, come) and know how to be firm when necessary. As a recent cat owner, I've learned the reins on taking care of a cat and how to live with one as well. Currently I'm freelancing, so I'm pretty flexible on availability with enough notice! Walking and playing with your pets is a fun activity I'm always down for. I can take care of cats and small dogs within my living space. I do not have a fenced backyard for dogs, however I am able to provide frequent walks and play time when needed due to my freelance schedule. I also have separate rooms if needed to cool off for stimulated pets.

About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my entire life, and caring for them has always been part of my everyday world. From a young age, my life has revolved around animals and helping them become the best versions of themselves. Some of my earliest experiences were with cats, including a feral rescue named Misty I bonded with closely as a child. I tend to connect well with animals that are more troubled, reactive, or unsure, and I’m often able to bring out their calmer, more trusting side. Later on in my life, my experience expanded significantly through raising and caring for Golden Retrievers. Growing up around breeding and long-term dog care taught me responsibility, consistency, and how much attention animals need at different stages of life. I’ve been involved in raising dogs from newborns to adulthood, and many of the dogs I’ve helped raise have gone on to become unforgettable adventure companions for their families. Over the past fifteen years, I’ve gained extensive experience working with animals through long-term, hands-on care. My background as a Golden Retriever breeder has given me perspective on how different animals can be, even within the same breed. Every animal has unique preferences, behaviors, and ways of communicating, and learning to recognize those differences has been a major part of my experience. I’m comfortable managing multiple animals at once and handling a range of needs without becoming overwhelmed. I’m most accustomed to larger dogs, but my experience raising puppies has given me the delicacy and awareness needed to care for smaller animals as well. I’m especially familiar with puppies under six months old, including their unpredictable behavior and the extra attention they require. I’ve also worked with dogs that can be semi-reactive in certain situations. While I’m not willing to take on dogs that are broadly aggressive, I retain the right to assess the dog before accepting. I’m most comfortable with working with dogs that are borderline reactive but not reactive-aggressive. I can recognize signs of stress or reactivity, and can manage dogs that are generally well-functioning but may need thoughtful handling in specific situations. I currently have a flexible schedule and am available for drop-ins and walks throughout the day, generally between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, unless I’m staying at a client’s home for house sitting. Animal care already shapes my daily routine, and I’m used to structuring my day around feeding schedules, exercise, outdoor exposure, and rest. I’m comfortable juggling different routines and planning time and resources around an animal’s specific needs. I’m very conscientious about safety and environmental risks. I pay close attention to doors, gates, toxic plants, household hazards, interactions with unfamiliar animals, and changes in an animal’s behavior. I rely on observation and experience to distinguish between normal behavior and something that may need attention. If something seems off, I communicate clearly and directly, providing context and details without being alarmist. I also enjoy sharing updates and photos so owners feel informed and connected while they’re away. I have experience filming and taking photos of animals especially dogs and cats that don’t sit still - so you’re bound to get a good photo or two of them.

About: I always had pets growing up and learned how to take care and give them the attention they need. I grew up with several dogs, cats, and even a turtle! I am a huge animal lover of all kinds and would love to be able to work with them. I have been a dog sitter for several neighbors with responsibilities like walking them, feeding them, playing fetch, bringing them to the dog park with other dogs, and bathing them. I currently am working from home and I only work part time. I am very flexible, although I would love to have an on-going long-term set schedule if possible! My boyfriend and I live in a duplex and are very active! We love running outside and going on hikes and would love to have a dog to join us on outdoor adventures. We live close to a dog park where they can run and socialize with others dogs!

As a pet-sitter, I am very flexible and will work closely with you to discuss details for the pet-sit (IE: arrivals/departure times, house-sitting expectations) , and get to know your baby. I am very responsive and readily available. I have experience with dogs and cats of all different breeds, and even worked as a professional dog bather for some time. I have been around dogs and cats my entire life. My very first fur BFF was a majestic, soulful Lab/German Shepard mix who was my best companion through my awkward growing pain years. Currently, I am a proud mom of the protective teddy bear (Lola), burst of energy and enthusiastic Rat Terrier mix (Bettie), queen of mean looks yet total cheese-ball cat (Nirvana), and my loving baby boy cat (Hawkeye) who is watching me intently as I write this. I hope to arrange my first pet-sit with you and your children soon! I also offer drop-in visits and walks. All of my starting base prices are listed, and if additional services are needed, I am very open to discuss. I work hard so that my fur children live awesome lives! I can provide flexibility in scheduling for all pet care services. I work remotely from home and can work remotely from any home/location with internet. I am also a dog and cat mom who takes care of 4 fur children regularly. Currently, I do not offer pet boarding services in my home as Lola is working on her socialization skills. I will bring professionalism, care, and fun right to your location! While staying at the client's home, I have the utmost respect for your space. I am a highly organized professional and can maintain clean, tidy spaces. I will work with each client to best suit their needs and expectations of my stay.
“Margaret is extremely conscientious and dedicated. She did say thorough call to understand my dog's behaviors and needs. Since Carly is a dog-reactive rescue with a traumatic history, and we have been working with a trainer, I am always reluctant to have someone new walking her. It's hard to be sure they will reinforce her training and ensure a calm walk, even if they encounter other dogs. Margaret made sure to understand and use the same equipment and commands and techniques we are using to give Carly the exercise she needed while my partner and I were sick. I would have no qualms having her house-sit and stay with Carly. I know she is trustworthy and genuinely cares about the animals she spends time with. I would highly recommend her for anyone, especially those who are nervous about their dogs with others. Carly is friendly and loves all people, and she has a little separation anxiety and more than a little territoriality around other dogs. And yet Margaret handled her expertly and lovingly, gaining both her trust and mine. She even suggested ways to help training progress with fewer treats and more praise as Carly improves her threshold around other dogs. Margaret not only came through on short notice, but she instantly built a relationship with both us and our dog which means she will be my go-to walker and sitter from now on.”
About: I’ve been caring for animals for most of my life and have grown up in a home with dogs since I was five years old. I cared for my own chihuahua–pug mix, who lived to be 18 years old. This gave me extensive hands-on experience with both daily care and the unique needs of senior dogs. I also have several years of hands-on experience caring for cats. I’ve had my own cats for about six years, including one with chronic pancreatitis who requires frequent medication administered through a topical ear ointment. Caring for a pet with ongoing medical needs has made me very attentive, patient, and comfortable supporting animals who need extra care or special routines. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve provided pet sitting for several repeat customers, caring for dogs with different personalities and energy levels, including a senior terrier, a pitbull, and a husky. This has helped me become comfortable adapting to each dog’s individual temperament, whether they need gentle companionship, structured routines, or more active engagement. Because I travel occasionally myself and rely on pet sitters for my own animals, I also understand the experience from an owner’s perspective. I know how important clear communication, reliability, and regular updates are when someone else is caring for a beloved pet. About: Hey, I absolutely LOVE dogs, I live with my partner and his dog Levi I love playing with walking and exercising with dogs- I often dog-sit for my friends and family! I live close to indianola beach if your dog is social, In a quiet house if your dog is shy! I love kind pups and like trying to teach dogs tricks and giving them lots of cuddles. Grew up with dogs my whole life, and feel really confident caring for them, listening to them, and really get along with lots of different breeds. About: I have been dog walking for friends and families for about 10 years now with a variety of dogs! My experience with different breeds of dogs has shown me that all dogs have different needs to be met. My own dogs has taught me to always be aware of everything and to always be there for them. I enjoy being able to connect with animals and will make your dog my first priority! About: I’m a farm raised girl with years of animal care practice, dogs, cats, chickens, horses, goats, and donkeys. I’ve always had pets in my life and claimed the role of family dog trainer. Pets are my happy place, and I love spending time loving on dogs and cats so their owner feels more comfortable leaving home. My dog Pongo is very special to me and I know the pain of leaving him behind when it’s necessary, and also know the joy of finding someone with a big heart to care for him when I’m gone. I’m that girl with the big heart that will love and care for your furry loved ones so you can be comfortable leaving home knowing they’re well cared for. I spent a year volunteering at West Sound Wildlife which gave me experience tending to wounded animals. I’m well versed in giving animals medications and following strict diets. My schedule is very flexible at the moment which means I’m able to make your animal a top priority. I work at a local restaurant but my shifts aren’t long, at most I’ll be out of the house for five to six hours. I love getting to know each pet, what their needs are, and how to best meet those needs while I care for them. If tons of love and snuggles are required I’m happy to oblige, but I also understand the different boundaries of each individual animal and how to navigate them to earn trust. My dog Pongo gets 4-5 walks per day, some are sniff walks for mental exercise, and others are to throw a stick in the woods for him to let some energy out.
