“Annette is the best! Excellent communication with lots of pictures. It’s a fantastic fenced yard for the dogs to run in. She’s also been very cooperative and flexible when plans have changed. Super place!”
About: What is a home without a dog? I have always had a dog- or a few dogs. They make life good. I live with my husband and our two teenage daughters. We are a fun loving family of four, living on a small (wanna be) farm with our dog Larry and a flock of hens. Larry was a rescue from the humane society- and despite her rough start, she is ridiculous sweet. She can be both playful and lazy- a great combination for a playdate. The house yard is dog friendly- very large and fully fenced. My home is equally dog friendly- relaxed with plenty of room to get comfortable. I have a work from home situation, so your furry friend/family member will get plenty of love and good attention. I (and my family) are very animal - and people- focused. While I will be the primary contact and person in charge of your dog, know that my family will also be available and more than willing to help- we love dogs! Happy to have yours with us :). Your dog(s) will be warmly welcomed into our home- made to feel comfortable and kept safe. Our dog Larry is a part of our family. I similarly care for dogs that I host, as if they were a part of our family, and in a way that you would want - love and attention, exercise and play. All the loves.
“Lauren had my dogs for the day while I went hiking and they couldn’t have been happier. They got tons of snuggles and some social time with other sweet dogs. I would most definitely use her again if we’re ever in the area!”

“Our boys had a great time with Brooke and her gang and we felt welcomed, safe & cared for. Also the communication was first rate and we really appreciated the pics during the day. We’ll be back if she’ll have us!”

“Ashley’s done such a good job with our little beagle. Our little beagle is more and more comfortable, Ashley’s place is now her home away from home. We love seeing the photos of her fun day!”

“Angela took great care of our dog while we’re visiting the town. She sent lot of pictures during the day care. And Kara had a wonderful day playing with Maggie. Highly recommend her whenever visiting the islands!”

About: Hello! My name is Meaghan, my husband’s name is Joseph, and we love animals! I will be the primary caregiver while my husband takes care of boarding in our home! I grew up on an extensive ranch in Oregon and have always had many varied pets/farm animals growing up. My love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. My experience in pet care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends, and volunteering over the years. My husband and I have 1 dog and 1 cat of our own; Mac- our boxer dog, and Jasper- our kitty. I love spending time with them and seeing their individual personalities come out and shine with each passing day. Some hobbies that I have are; hiking, cooking, history, and collecting antique books. I currently work remotely (from home) full-time with the ability to create my own schedule. That means I can be very flexible on any time of day. We have a decent sized property and have the ability to safely crate your dog at your request. I work from home full-time which means I will always be here for them! I work from home remotely so it’s very easy to manage and always be there for your pets and also allows me to be very flexible. For boarding in our home, we are a single dog household. Which means other than own dog, we only accept one other client at a time.
About: Hi, my name is Nina and I love all animals!! I grew up on a horse farm, but we had a little bit of everything. I’ve continued that lifestyle as much as possible for a nomad (married to active duty military) so I love getting as much animal time in as I can. I’m great with all animals, and have an 18 month old Corgi myself. Hopefully we (or at least I) will be a good fit for your pet family needs! I’m working part time now with flexible hours. I can come to your residence, or you can drop your loved one off with me. I live in Poulsbo, and there’s plenty of room to run here. I have 6.5 acres, plenty of room to run but it it in fenced - which means your pet will either need to remain on leash or be trained well enough to return when I call them. Again, no fence. If you plan on dropping your pet off here, I would like to do a meet and greet first, to make sure we’re a good fit.
“Conor was wonderful and took great care of Lyra. He sent updates on Lyra’s first day shortly after dropoff and I was so happy to see her having fun already. Lyra got home happy and was excited to go back the next day. Would definitely rebook!”

“Drake loved it here. Kristina was able to make this a pleasant experience. My dog has been attacked by bigger dogs before and while hesitant at first, her knowledge about properly handling aggressive dogs put me at ease.”

“Gus had a great time with Scott! Scott handled Gus's initial excitement well, and sent good updates throughout the day. Gus was nice and tired at the end of the day. Would book Scott again!”

About: I’ve always loved dogs & have had pups by my side my entire life. Caring for dogs comes second nature to me. I’ve worked with dogs of all personalities and ages, from energetic puppies to sweet seniors who need a gentler touch. I’m patient and responsible, and enjoy making dogs feel comfortable and happy. Whether your dog is shy, social, quirky, or full of zoomies, I know how to adjust care to match their needs. My family & I treat every dog like they’re our own and we would love the opportunity to spend time with your furry friend too! My Skills & Experience: - Lifelong dog lover with experience caring for pups of all ages - Comfortable with shy, senior, high-energy, and big-breed dogs - Gentle, patient approach with anxious or first-time boarders - Understanding of dog body language and safe interactions - Experienced with medication routines and special instructions - I provide updates, photos, and videos of your pup while you're away! I am home most of the time with my 1 year old currently so am able to accommodate and care for your dog(s) most days and times! I’m able to give dogs plenty of interaction and attention throughout the day. My calendar is always up to date, but feel free to message me with any schedule-specific questions. About My Home: Your pup will feel safe, loved, and comfortable here! I have a fully fenced yard perfect for playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of sniffing. I also have two friendly dogs who enjoy company, though all interactions are based on your dog’s comfort level. Inside, I’ve created multiple gated areas so every dog has their own calm, secure space. Crates are available if your dog prefers them or if you request it. I use a Furbo camera and happily will send photo and video updates so you never have to wonder how your pup is doing. When the weather cooperates, I love taking dogs on peaceful neighborhood walks, and I can provide baths if needed as well. *Important: I do have a 1 year old at home, so I’m only able to host dogs who are gentle and comfortable with young children. Safety and a calm environment are top priorities in our home. Safety: Your dog’s comfort and safety , and my family’s, are my top priorities. I do slow, careful introductions with my dogs, or no introductions if requested. Gated “safe spaces” are always available. I follow all feeding, medication, and care instructions exactly as given.
“Muggzy had a great day with Trenton and Jordan! They genuinely seemed to enjoy him and understand his needs. He didn’t want to leave! We hope to have him visit there often.”

“Jenny was wonderful, compassionate. This was the first time I left my puppy with her. I was a bit anxious, not sure how he will behave. Looks like he had a good time with Jenny. She was sending me pictures, video all day and was updating me about buddy. I will recommend Jenny. I am looking forward to have buddy bond with her another time. Thanks Jenny”

“I am worry wart dog mom and have been somewhat hesitant to sign Stormy, my tiny, timid Pomeranian puppy, up for daycare. Linda put my worries at ease during our meet and greet. If you have a tiny dog and need a sitter/boarded- book with Linda right now!”
About: I'm super attentive and believe dogs have a language of their own. They can communicate with their behavior and emotional undertones. In a way I feel I understand that well. Not so different than children in their needs of love attention and affection. We have a small pug who is exceedingly friendly and welcoming to other dogs, like a little best friend and playmate. My kids are usually in school during the day. When I get the chance I love to take them to the dog parks or fields to run and play. Exercise is as important as good food and a warm cozy bed. I am also an herbalist and acupuncturist so I am very empathetic and in touch with nature. I have a basic understanding of medical needs in people and can apply that a bit towards animals when needing to identify if there is ever a problem and how severe it is. I currently work part-time. I have dad's house in Poulsbo that I drop them at while I am at work if they like to be with someone all day. He works from home. We do Zoom meetings to show the homes and environment for care. I have a large backyard and I often let them play inside and outside at their leisure with the door open while I garden. I have a fenced in yard and crate if needed. I prefer that they have their own bed for scent purposes so that they smell home. I prefer you bring your own food as each dog has a favorite, important that they want to eat while you're away. Any special instructions are best to pack so that I can refer to them such as how many gummies to give for Pain. We love our animals and I love to spoil them for you!
