“Annette is the best. She was so kind to our dogs. One of our dogs is 18 and she made sure he was safe and happy - she even bought a gate so he’d be ok with the stairs. Her dogs were sweet and chill and everyone got along great. Fabulous yard with so much space to run. Highly recommend - your dogs will be happy!”
About: What is a home without a dog? I have always had a dog- or a few dogs. They make life good. I live with my husband and our two teenage daughters. We are a fun loving family of four, living on a small (wanna be) farm with our dog Larry and a flock of hens. Larry was a rescue from the humane society- and despite her rough start, she is ridiculous sweet. She can be both playful and lazy- a great combination for a playdate. The house yard is dog friendly- very large and fully fenced. My home is equally dog friendly- relaxed with plenty of room to get comfortable. I have a work from home situation, so your furry friend/family member will get plenty of love and good attention. I (and my family) are very animal - and people- focused. While I will be the primary contact and person in charge of your dog, know that my family will also be available and more than willing to help- we love dogs! Happy to have yours with us :). Your dog(s) will be warmly welcomed into our home- made to feel comfortable and kept safe. Our dog Larry is a part of our family. I similarly care for dogs that I host, as if they were a part of our family, and in a way that you would want - love and attention, exercise and play. All the loves.
“So grateful to have found Brooke! She was accommodating and welcoming for our first visit. Her home, big yard, and access to the beach are a pup’s paradise. She did a great job learning the somewhat complicated set of dog obedience cues that we use. Our lovable but anxious dog had a wonderful time and we will definitely be back!”

“Ashley is absolutely amazing! We love taking our pup for doggie day care or longer stays. We love that she communicates with us throughout the day. Our girl has so much fun playing with the other pups. She comes home exhausted at the end of the day. We are very grateful to have found Ashley.”

“While staying in Port Ludlow, we left our pup Lucy with Lauren for an afternoon while we played golf nearby. Her communication in making arrangements was great, and Lucy had a great stay. Thanks!”

“My dog bounds up to the house with the most joyous tail-wag, and comes home glowing, grinning, and tired out from the fun day she had. Karen fabulous with dogs, and I feel at ease knowing my dog is having a great day.”

About: I have 25 years of experience working in veterinary medicine, caring for pets of all ages and temperaments. My home is calm, quiet, and well suited for senior pets. Pet care fits well into my routine, allowing me to provide attentive care. Pets receive consistent attention, timely meals, medications if needed, and a calm presence while their owners are away. I follow safety-first practices and respect each pet’s normal routine. I carefully follow instructions, keep doors and gates secure, and monitor pets closely for changes in behavior or health. Your pet’s comfort and safety are always my priority.
“Angela took great care of our dog while we’re visiting the town. She sent lot of pictures during the day care. And Kara had a wonderful day playing with Maggie. Highly recommend her whenever visiting the islands!”

“Conor took excellent care of Haru today and even brought her to the dog park. He shared photos and videos throughout the day, which gave me great peace of mind. Haru clearly had a wonderful time and is a happy, tired pup now :)”

“Storm loves coming here when we're in town and I'm pretty sure zi and her pup feel the same way about storm. Always huge smiles and quick tail wags when they see each other. Always contact her first when in the area, highly recommend.”

About: Hello! My name is Meaghan, my husband’s name is Joseph, and we love animals! I will be the primary caregiver while my husband takes care of boarding in our home! I grew up on an extensive ranch in Oregon and have always had many varied pets/farm animals growing up. My love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. My experience in pet care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends, and volunteering over the years. My husband and I have 1 dog and 1 cat of our own; Mac- our boxer dog, and Jasper- our kitty. I love spending time with them and seeing their individual personalities come out and shine with each passing day. Some hobbies that I have are; hiking, cooking, history, and collecting antique books. I currently work remotely (from home) full-time with the ability to create my own schedule. That means I can be very flexible on any time of day. We have a decent sized property and have the ability to safely crate your dog at your request. I work from home full-time which means I will always be here for them! I work from home remotely so it’s very easy to manage and always be there for your pets and also allows me to be very flexible. For boarding in our home, we are a single dog household. Which means other than own dog, we only accept one other client at a time.
“Cathleen was so friendly and helpful- taking care of our pups with just a few day's notice when we wanted to visit the island. She made Vivi and Bijou feel comfortable and at home- as evidenced by the photos of them relaxing and snoozing without a care. We were so glad to find her and wouldn't hesitate to have our pups stay with her again.”

“Drake loved it here. Kristina was able to make this a pleasant experience. My dog has been attacked by bigger dogs before and while hesitant at first, her knowledge about properly handling aggressive dogs put me at ease.”

“Siddhi and her dog Newton are truly amazing, I can’t recommend them enough!! She took SUCH great care of our energetic Ollie and the dogs got along so well! She sent updated pictures throughout the day, was so easy and quick to communicate with and overall just amazing! Our dog is truly our baby and when he is with her we know he is in loving hands and we have nothing to worry about! If you’re looking for someone who is going to care and love your fur baby as much as you, she is your girl!!”

“Such an easy experience dropping my dog off, Dena was so welcoming and sweet. I can tell her family really loves dogs. The pictures were great and it was so nice they sent updates and had great communication the whole time. Much appreciated!”

About: I'm super attentive and believe dogs have a language of their own. They can communicate with their behavior and emotional undertones. In a way I feel I understand that well. Not so different than children in their needs of love attention and affection. We have a small pug who is exceedingly friendly and welcoming to other dogs, like a little best friend and playmate. My kids are usually in school during the day. When I get the chance I love to take them to the dog parks or fields to run and play. Exercise is as important as good food and a warm cozy bed. I am also an herbalist and acupuncturist so I am very empathetic and in touch with nature. I have a basic understanding of medical needs in people and can apply that a bit towards animals when needing to identify if there is ever a problem and how severe it is. I currently work part-time. I have dad's house in Poulsbo that I drop them at while I am at work if they like to be with someone all day. He works from home. We do Zoom meetings to show the homes and environment for care. I have a large backyard and I often let them play inside and outside at their leisure with the door open while I garden. I have a fenced in yard and crate if needed. I prefer that they have their own bed for scent purposes so that they smell home. I prefer you bring your own food as each dog has a favorite, important that they want to eat while you're away. Any special instructions are best to pack so that I can refer to them such as how many gummies to give for Pain. We love our animals and I love to spoil them for you!
“Swati was wonderful with my little maltipoo. I received pictures and updates while he was in her care. I loved the amount of communication from her and felt that Keno was in good hands. I felt great leaving him with her and will be using her services again, for sure!!”
