“We left our five year old English Cream Golden Retriever (Jake) with Matt and Sander for a week while we were travelling. Prior to our trip we did a meet and greet so that all parties would feel comfortable when it came time for our trip. We were very impressed with the thought and care that were put into planning a space that would allow visiting dogs to feel comfortable and as close to home as possible. The property is spacious with a fenced area for the dogs to play or just hang out. Inside the home the dogs are free to wander, snooze or play with the resident golden retriever (Artie). One of the many things that we really appreciated was knowing that Jake would have at least one dog companion during his stay. We also appreciated Matt and Sander's policy to limit the number of dogs staying at any one time. This allows the dogs to get the proper attention during their stay. Matt and Sander's son Logan loved playing with Jake and Jake can't get enough kid companionship so this was a real bonus. The photos of Jake that we received during our trip assured us that Jake was enjoying his time at doggy camp. My pup is a bit scared with new introductions, but by the time I picked him up from Lauren’s place he was happy and getting along with everyone. I think he enjoyed the attention and care he received.
