“This is my second booking with Regan. Once for this come over/potty break/hangout; the other for a multi-overnight. My dogs absolutely LOVE when Regan comes over. Charlie loves everyone and likes to talk about it. Lucy is a very reserved but wants to check things out in case she need to hide. When Regan first met them, she came over to get the key. Lucy was like, "hey lady, 'sup?..", took 2 little ear scratches, and walked off (high praise from her). Charlie was like, "HELLO! You smell like friend." Given this response I knew these goobers would be in great hands. After both visits, when we came in, the girls were on the sofa like, "Dang... It's not Regan, just the parents," and promptly returned to sofa-mode. For our overnight, we returned to a nicely tidy house and happy dogs. (Not the case with other sitters.) We are excited to book with Regan again for our next overnight.”

“Mya was great! Very communicative. It was a very stressful trip for the humans, so having Mya there with the pups made it a little easier knowing that they were in good hands and safe. 10/10 will definitely request again.”

“I’m so thankful to have found such good folks to look in on my little one. David and Lisa were professional, reliable and kept me updated daily with great photos. I highly reccomend them!”

About: I'm reliable and have cared for a wide variety of dog sizes and ages. I have cared for senior dogs and other dogs with special care requirements. I'm available to take care of any pets any day of the week at your house. My two dogs are not guaranteed to get along with yours and they are both adverse to new people so I cannot host any pets. I can do overnights at your house as my pets have other carers in the house. I greet your dog when I see them, let them outside if that's an option or go for a walk immediately. I will feed them, refill their water bowl and play with them. We will go on a walk if not already done. I make sure they have enough water and pets before I leave.
“Jennifer Went above and beyond with my chunky monkey Lulu! Lulu loves her, loves her! I’m so grateful that I can count on someone who has experience with older animals and can help her because she doesn’t quite move as well as she used to. I’m so glad that when I need to be away from home for longer periods of time during the day that I can count on Jen to come in and check on Lulu.”

About: “If I could be half the person my dog is, I’d be twice the human I am.” –Charles Yu Hi, I’m a lifelong animal lover with over 30 years of experience caring for pets—11 of those years professionally. I've cared for everything from sled dog teams to horses to chickens but dogs are truly my passion, and there’s nothing I enjoy more than spending my days walking, boarding, and providing them with the love and attention they deserve. I am currently certified in Dog Massage, Dog Training Methods to Stop Barking, and Pet Choking. My home is a doggy playground, complete with two fenced yards (one in front and one in back) for playtime and located right next to the beautiful trails of Illahee Park for long, scenic walks. Dogs are allowed on couches and beds here - your furry friend will feel right at home with me! Boarding and House sitting bookings come with a framed fantasy pet portrait of your pet(s) so if you have a preference for your pet paw-trait, please let me know! A little more about us: My husband and I moved here from Issaquah when we bought our first home in Bremerton in July 2023. I didn't bring my clients with me because of the distance, even though I wish I could have! I "retired" at that time from dog sitting but we started doing it again occasionally for friends, neighbors, and family and we realized how much we really missed doing it! We love it here in Kitsap County. So, while I'm not new to professional pet care, I'm newish to the Rover platform - if you have any concerns about my pricing or availability, please don’t hesitate to reach out. My rates reflect the quality of care I provide and are set to ensure my services are worthwhile. That said, I understand the Rover platform can occasionally create confusion, so I’m happy to discuss any unique circumstances you may have. As a freelance graphic designer working from home, I have the flexibility and freedom to dedicate plenty of quality time to caring for pets, whether that be in my home, or at yours. Boarding and Housesitting bookings come with a framed fantasy pet paw-trait of your pet(s). I have two friendly dogs at home who love company and are always up for playtime. They spend a lot of time having fun in our yard, but we also enjoy occasional trips to the local off-leash park. For more adventurous outings, we take longer hikes through the beautiful trails at Illahee and Dickerson, giving them plenty of exercise and exploration.
“Kimberly is amazing! She has been our cat sitter many times for our sweet girl Luna. Luna is pretty shy with strangers but warmed up quickly. Luna loves Kimberly and now can’t wait for when she sees her to get her head rubs and snuggles in. We are truly lucky to have her as our sitter and can trust her to watch our girl for long periods of time. Kimberly has watch Luna from short stretches to long stretches of time. She watched our girl for 3 weeks while we were away on vacation and it was wonderful having the confidence that our baby girl was in good hands.”
About: I will start off with saying, I am insured with PCI! I’ve had dogs my whole life, I have 5 at the moment. 2 cats, a (Yearling), tortoise, frog many animals. I have experience with plenty of animals. I have animal sat for multiple families and friends and they have loved me! I work fulltime but can make time for your babies. I treat your babies like mine. I make sure they get the love and care they need. I slowly introduce myself, if you need your dog crated I can do that. If all we need to do for your pet is we meet a few times before petsitting that is okay, or if you need me to bring my dog so your dog can meet mine. Whatever helps with your animal to feel comfortable and safe.
“Julie has taken care of my kitty two times so far and is absolutely amazing! She goes above and beyond in every way, providing thorough and detailed report cards after each visit, complete with adorable photos of my furry gal. Julie is incredibly attentive to my cat's needs and moods and treats her as if she were her own, going the extra mile to ensure I felt completely at ease, especially since I tend to get anxious leaving my kitty. Thanks to Julie's exceptional care, I knew my kitty was happy, loved, and content. I can't recommend Julie enough to anyone seeking top-notch care! Thank you, Julie!!”

About: Raised with dogs but current owner of cats. I'm comfortable with all breeds large and small. I was raised with Jack Russell Terriers and went through dog training with them. Rover is a great way for me to get some dog-love. <3 Use promo code link below for discount: https://www.rover.com/sit/jessib36134 I work from home and own my own business. This gives me lots of flexibility to care for pets and give them dedicated time when THEY need it, not just between meetings. Our home - cats only. We have a bedroom across from our master that will keep your cat(s) separated from our house cats, while still keeping them in the center of our attention. The room has windows to watch birds and I often bring my laptop into the room to keep our guest pets company while I work. Your home - I can drive to your residence as needed to check-in on, feed, play with, and/or walk your pet.
About: I have had animals literally my entire life including dogs, cats, hamsters, rats, birds, fish, and lizards. I currently have 2 dogs-a labradoodle named Axel that loves everyone and everything and a rescue pit mix named Winnie that loves dogs but is afraid of people, as well as 3 cats that live upstairs. Axel is very rambunctious and can get pretty excited at first but eventually mellows out. Winnie LOVES meeting new dogs and will do what I call the "pittie hop". I love animals and I feel that they are a part of the family. I (we) will treat your animal just like my own. If an animal comes to my home someone is almost always home to provide care, snuggles, and treats. I have experience with large breed dogs, specialty foods, older animals, and giving medications. We have a large, fenced yard for the dogs to run around and play. I do require that your pups be UTD on vaccinations and that they have basic obedience training. I do not take dogs in heat just because I have never personally dealt with that before. I look forward to working with you and your animals. One last note, I require a meet and greet with ALL new clients since I do have my own dogs to ensure everyone gets along, you as a pet parents feel comfortable, and the home now smells familiar for the next time your pup comes over. Thank you for taking the time to consider me to take care of you 4-legged family member. I am up at 5:30 am during the week and my husband is retired so we have lots of time to spend with your dog(s). We also have 2 teens at home that help so your fur babies will get plenty of love and attention. I have a large fenced yard with plenty of room to run and play. We also have a pretty set feeding schedule but can modify that if necessary. Additionally we have indoor cameras in the house so we can check on the dogs if we need to run out
“Amy did an amazing job watching my two bengal cats. She sent pictures and updates and was very thorough. She took the time to play with them and gave them lots of love. I will for sure be booking her again next time I am out of town. Thank you Amy for taking such good care of my kitties.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Kariotis
Emma was awesome, we had her do multiple day time drop ins for about a week. We had a couple of last min modifications and as Rover was able to, she was able to accommodate. We have dogs (great dane and an American Staffordshire terrier), cat, chickens and bunnies and she was able to check on them as well. Very helpful, communication was great and we got pictures for every visit she made.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Kariotis. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
