Pets make a house a home and are a member of the family. I’ve had dogs all my life and will consider your pet(s) a member of my family while in my care. Pets in my care are my priority. For sitting in my home or your home, I may charge more than others because I’m prepared to address unexpected care. I try to keep my rates competitive, but it’s challenging to pick one rate for all pets. Please reach out if you’re interested. I’m happy to discuss rates depending on need.

Safety, trust & environment
In your home, I’ll follow your norms and schedule. I’ll ensure your pet is in a safe and clean environment. I’ll adhere to your established rules for furniture privileges, treats, feeding time, post walk cleaning, etc. If I’m staying overnight at your place, I’ll wash my linens and remake the bed (unless you’re returning before noon and then linens may still be in the wash). If I’m watching your pet in my home, I appreciate potty trained and polite pets. Baby pets or incontinent pets will get a smaller area to roam for damage control. Our Coton de Tulear is very friendly and loves to play; she also gets the memo when others aren’t as spritely. If your dog is aggressive towards other dogs, let me know in advance so we can discuss a possible solution.

Emily was a great sitter for my cat. She came around the same time of day, was communicative, and did everything my cat needed!!
Emily is an incredible dog sitter. She has cared for our two very demanding terriers twice now: one longer stay and one drop in. For the longer stay she left the house in perfect condition and our dogs were clearly loved on and well taken care of. For the subsequent shorter stay our pups were so happy to see her and did not miss us a bit. Very highly recommended to say the lesat!
Left the house better than she found it! My dog really appreciated her care.
We are very happy with the care and communication Emily provided. She even stopped by the vet and picked up a perscription I forgot to get before leaving town. We were able to relax while visiting family knowing our kitty was being well taken care of.
Emily is wonderful. Buster was well taken care of!

I’m currently starting my own business, so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I’m on the island full time throughout the week.
