Deanna was amazing. We met with her before our trip and even our most shy dog was comfortable with her. He doesn’t like anyone except family, so that made us feel much more comfortable leaving them in Deanna’s care. She took great pictures and kept us updated with each visit. I will definitely use her again!

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs over the years. My friends and neighbors have asked me to walk them or house sit for their dogs many times. On weekends I have a lot of free time during the day and it could be very useful to be outside and interact with different dogs. A fenced yard in the back for them to have fun and for them to take care of their business. We have play toys that they love to play with.

About: I’ve always had dogs or cat in my household since I was a child. I am kind and caring with all animals and love taking care of them. I am currently a stay at home Mom. Between mom duty, I will have plenty of time to drop in to care for your pet. I currently walk my dog daily. If we aren’t going on a walk we find an open field to play in. I refill her water bowl whenever it’s empty and give meals twice a day. I also watch my brothers dog at my home on days he works long hours.

Alyssa is amazing! I highly recommend. I just moved to Washington and was panicking about leaving my babies for a few days not knowing anyone. I found her profile on Rover and reached out because she looked like she would be amazing with animals. She sent me the cutest pictures and was so sweet with them! I have one cat who is scared of most people. She let Alyssa love all over her. I love knowing I have someone I trust to take care of my babies while I’m gone. I am so thankful for her!

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and currently share my home with three dogs of my own. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and a variety of other household pets, so I’m comfortable with different personalities, routines, and needs. I understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m dependable, patient, and attentive, and I’ll treat your pets like I would my own. Whether they enjoy long walks, playtime, quiet companionship, or plenty of cuddles, I’m happy to follow their normal routine and help them feel comfortable. I also know how reassuring updates can be, so I’m glad to send photos and check-ins while your pet is in my care. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family! Caring for animals is already a natural part of my daily routine as the owner of three dogs. I’m accustomed to regular walks, feeding schedules, playtime, medications when needed, and giving each pet individual attention. My schedule is flexible, allowing me to spend plenty of time with the pets in my care and maintain the routines they are comfortable with. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine and the owner’s instructions. I take time to learn each pet’s personality, habits, feeding schedule, walking preferences, and any special needs. I’m careful about doors, gates, leashes, medications, and household security. I also keep the home tidy and provide regular photos and updates so owners can feel confident that their pets and home are being well cared for.

About: Hi my name is Jace, I have grown up around cats and dogs all my life, and worked with them in all their stages of life. I worked on a cattle ranch for a few months in utah. I can care for dogs, cats, and any other pet you have. I'm a hard worker, and very reliable. You can contact me anytime to change your needs, check-in on how things are going, and specify any details on how to better care for you pet. I currently have one pet of my own, a golden retriever border collie mix (age 7) . I am able to teach puppies the basics such as sit, stay, come, and even fetch if I work with them long enough. Negotiable on price, and can sit in hotels if needed. I'm currently in between jobs so I have lots of free time on my hands and would love to spend it taking care and loving all your animals! I can give meds as I do to my own dog at home. Lots of potty breaks and time outside playing or just soaking up the sun!

Absolutely nothing to complain about. Khayl came by prior to trip to get a lay of the land and meet my whole damn zoo. They were super communicative, asking great questions and providing detailed pet updates daily. I know my pets were well taken care of because they barely batted an eye when we returned! Clearly Khayl provided them with more than adequate feedings and lovings. Would recommend.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of September 2026, there are 6,454 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Waterman Point. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Waterman Point. On Rover:

  • 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
