About: Note: I now have a toddler and an infant so please be aware I will be bringing them with me to jobs. My toddler is extremely loving and gentle with animals and responds immediately when told to leave an animal alone. Additionally, please be aware that I am recovering from several years of physical disability. I'm doing MUCH better but still get winded easily, so I can play fetch or take your dog on a gentle walk but not a run. -------- I come from a family of pet lovers: my mom raised guide dogs for the blind before she had a family, and ever since I was a baby I've been around animals of all kinds. My first pet care job was caring for a friend's cats when I was a tender 6-years-old! Since then, I have cared for numerous horses, cats, dogs, birds, fish, poultry, reptiles (including snakes!), emu, donkey, goats, rabbits.... You name it! My strongest experience lies with domestic dogs and cats. Starting at age 17 I helped a neighbor raise two rescue pups whose mama was a feral dog from the middle east, which presented a very unique set of challenges: and, more recently, two other sweet doggos who needed regular medication. I've also had experience with giving cats medicine from caring for my own cats. I am very involved with each pet, taking time to learn their unique personality. I make a point of focusing on the loved pet I am with at the time, with physical play and mental stimulation a huge part of my time — even older pups just need patience, encouragement, and a gentler style of play! As of Summer 2026 I am currently available pretty much any time! My only limitation is not having a car while my husband is at work during the day but I'm also able to use the bus when needed. I have 10 total years of experience sitting both indoor and outdoor pets, helping continue and enforce training, administering medication in a variety of ways, and encouraging the unenthused to move and exercise. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Khayl came by prior to trip to get a lay of the land and meet my whole damn zoo. They were super communicative, asking great questions and providing detailed pet updates daily. I know my pets were well taken care of because they barely batted an eye when we returned! Clearly Khayl provided them with more than adequate feedings and lovings. Would recommend.
Kimberly went above and beyond and made sure my kitties were loved while I was away. She's very communicative, friendly, and trustworthy. Even my skiddish kitty felt comfortable with her. She's also an excellent plant mom! My plants look better coming home than when I left!
Emma was awesome, we had her do multiple day time drop ins for about a week. We had a couple of last min modifications and as Rover was able to, she was able to accommodate. We have dogs (great dane and an American Staffordshire terrier), cat, chickens and bunnies and she was able to check on them as well. Very helpful, communication was great and we got pictures for every visit she made.
