About: I currently work from home and have a good-sized and fully fenced yad. I've lived with dogs for my entire life and current have four of my own - all Border Collies. I compete in dog agility and also enjoy trick training. I volunteered at Seattle Humane Society for many years, including as a volunteer trainer assistant in the Reactive Rover program. I've had a couple of reactive rovers myself and am familiar with fear and fear-based aggression. I employ positive reinforcement training on my own dogs and with dogs I have worked with. Since training and competing in dog sports, as well as actively hiking in the Pacific Northwest has been my passion for the past decade, I have decided to make good use of the skills I've acquired. Dog that stay with me will be treated to plenty of outdoors time and if they are up for it - some hiking! I work from home and go out every day for a walk with dogs. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday I'm out hiking with dogs and would love to bring guest dogs out for some fun too! I have a fairly flexible schedule but do have some weekends blocked off as I do participate in dog sport events. I also have my own dogs so client dogs must be friendly toward other dogs. I treat my pet clients as if they were my own pets, which means a lot of individual attention and customized to the pet I'm working with. I make an effort to get to know each of my pet clients as individuals and and customize my care of them accordingly. Guest dogs will be given plenty of mental and physical activity.

About: I’ve grown up caring for a variety of pets, including cats, bunnies, and a dog, so I understand the unique needs of different animals. I’m patient, reliable, and love spending time playing, feeding, and giving pets the attention they deserve. I’m comfortable caring for both young and senior pets, and I enjoy creating a safe, happy environment for them. Your pets will be treated like part of my family! Pet care fits easily into my routine, and I’m happy to work around each owner’s schedule. I’m available during the day or evening and make sure pets are fed on time, cared for properly, and given attention and playtime while their owner is away. I really enjoy being around animals and always focus on making sure they’re safe and well cared for. When I’m in a client’s home, I follow their instructions, keep things clean, refresh food and water, and spend time checking on and caring for the pet. About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have helped take care of pets for family, friends, and neighbors for years. I’ve cared for both dogs and cats, including a puppy, and I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, and keeping pets company while their owners are away. I can also do overnights! About: I grew up around animals, working on my grandparents’ ranch and helping to care for horses, cows, sheep, chickens, ducks, cats, and dogs. I’ve always found working with animals to come quite naturally for me. I first began pet sitting during high school, and in recent years I’ve fostered for a few local rescues, taking care of and helping to socialize dogs who are up for adoption. My husband and I adopted our own rescue, Leroy, in February 2020 before the pandemic and are so grateful we did! I work from home during the week, and enjoy breaking up my workday with nature walks. Leroy and I love spending time with other dogs, and especially enjoy taking them with us to explore our beautiful neighborhood! I tend to talk often to Leroy and the dogs I’m caring for, and treat them more like little humans. The dogs I grew up with were treated like members of the family, and I will treat your dog with the same kindness and respect. Since I work from home, my schedule is flexible and adaptable depending on the needs of the dogs I’m caring for. As an example of my routine for my own dog, I usually take Leroy for a morning walk, a lunchtime walk, and another longer hike or beach walk in the afternoon/early evening, plus a short potty walk after dinner. Depending on whether your dog is dog-friendly or not, I can care for them together or separately. I prefer to visit for a meet-and-greet before scheduling any bookings, so that I can get to know you and your pet in your environment. I like to have an in-depth understanding of their typical daily and nightly routine, so that I can stick to it closely during my stay. My goal is for our time together to be as comfortable for your pet as possible, which I think means disrupting their comfort zone as little as possible. I will follow your directions to a tee, and be in contact with updates regularly to keep you informed.
