Cats and Medical needs!
I specialize in all cats and especially animals that have senior/medical needs!! Most pets prefer to stay in their own homes while their owners are away. I have taken courses to help understand dog/cat stress and can take steps to reduce as much stress as possible during my stay. I am a girl born and raised in Wisconsin. I moved to Maine to pursue a degree in Marine Science and ended up in Veterinary medicine as a vet assistant after finishing my degree. I needed a big life change and moved in Washington/Kitsap County in 2021! I now work in human medicine as a surgery technician but still love and miss working with animals. Since working in veterinary medicine, I am confident working with animals with a variety of medical needs and behaviors. I have developed a great attention to detail and have learned warning signs of illness. I have also taken many courses on low-stress introductions so I can make sure your pet feels comfortable with me! I am a passionate animal lover and have a multitude of experiences working with pets of all shapes and sizes. I have been the go to person for all of our clients, friends, and family for help with their pets. They know when their pet is with me, they are well cared for. I have been pet sitting for 5+ years and I am always flexible to your pet needs. We know pets can be fussy at times especially when owners are gone and I will ensure they receive their medications, grooming, play time as requested. I would love the opportunity to meet and love your pet!

Safety, trust & environment
I am though rough with home visits. Care with me always includes bathroom habits and appetite are closely monitored, medications are received, and their energy levels are normal. All important things to make sure your pet is happy and healthy while you are away! I understand many pets can be anxious I also always clean up after myself and your pet!

This was our first sit through Rover, but I can't imagine any other pet sitter being as wonderful as Grace! I could tell as soon soon as I met her that she would be the perfect sitter for our three kitties. She sent me pictures of them while we were away and it was obvious that the happy kitties in the photos were enjoying the loving attention of their new sitter. Grace also took care of my flock of chickens and a duck, and did a great job with them as well! We absolutely will be inviting her over for future sits! Thanks, Grace!
Grace was super easy to communicate with and we’re so happy we had her watch our furbabies! We would definitely have her stay over again in the future.
Grace is the best. Our pups are very picky, and they both warmed up to her right away. One of our dogs has daily medication requirements, and Grace handled it with ease. We were able to relax on vacation knowing the dogs were in good hands.

Schedule
I do work 4 days a week from 7a to around 5p. If necessary I can be flexible and stop by at lunch as well.
