I can care for all kinds of pets!
Hello! I’m Mariah! I’m new to the area and just got settled in! I am an experienced pet sitter and have been doing it for years but only till just recently (the last 5 years) did I make a full business out of it. I have taken care of a large number and variety of pets simultaneously since I was a little kid. So taking care of multiple pets at the same time is a breeze for me! I’m experienced in not only just dogs and cats, but I can care for rabbits, chinchillas, ferrets, hamsters, mice, rats, fish, birds, and reptiles too. (Which we can discuss a cheaper pricing for those depending on how much care is needed) Any animals that I’m not experienced or educated in I’ll gladly learn so I may properly care for your pet! I am experienced in young animals like puppies and kittens, as well as providing care for senior pets too (even blind and those with epilepsy) and can give medications or help them get around if mobility or sight is an issue. I have given pills and insulin shots to pets before. I can also bathe pets for no charge. Just bring the shampoo you generally use for them to avoid allergies.

It was so nice to be able to go on vacation and not have to be constantly worried about our dogs! Dogs were so well cared for, instructions followed, plenty of pictures were sent and house was left in perfect order. I cannot recommend Mariah enough!
Mariah was fantastic with our pups. One of them is nervous around new people and has a new best friend. She communicated with us regularly, helped fix a fence and keep in our escape artist and went above and beyond with our pups. The house was perfect when we got back home. We'd have her back any time!
She was very prompt in her response and was so lovely with my dogs. I would trust her again and again.
Mariah took great care of our senior cat and his medication. Lots of great photos, video, and cheerful communication over the weekend! Would recommend to others!
Mariah is the GOAT! My sweet boy had been through two moves with me this year and he is my nervous velcro puppy so I was really hesitant to leave him. Mariah won him over quickly and spoiled him for the weekend. He and I both had a great weekend! Highly recommend!
Mariah was great with the dogs! I got lots of cute pictures and videos while we were gone. She communicates well and left the house in excellent condition when she left. I highly recommend her!

Schedule
I am currently working full time shifts (usually about 6-8 hour shifts) at McDonald’s a few times a week, with Thursdays always being a complete day off. If I am house sitting a pet, I will leave them to go to work, and come home to your pet right after and stay with them the rest of the time. If your pet can’t handle being alone for that long then I MAY not be the best fit. But if this does not bother you and your pets then we will be good to go! ❤️

Safety, trust & environment
I care for every pet as if they were my own! All basic needs will be met, as well as enrichment, and needed social interactions. Love and affection given whenever it is wanted! (some love to have their space, some love to be in yours!) will gladly honor any requests owner has of their pet, so long as it does not negatively effect the pet’s (or another pets’) health or wellbeing. Your pets will be kept safe with me, that is a promise! Of all the times I have watched over a pet, I have never had a pet be harmed or become sick during my care. But in the event that something serious does happen, however, you will be notified immediately.

A typical day
On the energetic scale, If you have a dog I can take them out on walks, I can play fetch or stimulate your pup with toys, and I can play chase if that is something they love. I also wouldn’t mind taking your pup with me on exciting adventures (like petco or petsmart or maybe a trip to a dog park if that’s something your dog might like) but if your dog is more of a homebody or is the low energy cuddle type, then we can just stay home and cuddle in bed or couch and while I work on my laptop or watch a movie. Belly rubs and pets are guaranteed no matter what! If your pet is a caged pet (like rabbits, chinchillas, ferrets etc.) I can take them out for playtime if needed!
