“Alisha and her family provided excellent care for our girl while we were away. We could not be more pleased with how well they cared for her including the ball sessions that she loves so very much. Alisha sent updates with pics and videos. Devi was very happy staying with their lovely family. We highly recommend Alisha and look forward to the stay. Thanks again for everything!”

“Izzy and her family are amazing (and that includes their Doodle, Mickey)! My dog has anxiety about new experiences, and they really helped her feel welcome, comfortable, and safe during her first visit to their home.”
“Alexa and her family were such great hosts and caretakers for our dog Bo - lovely to coordinate with and obviously provided a super good care. Could tell Bo was relaxed and happy from the regular photo/video updates. Will definitely try to rebook with Alexa again soon! 🐾 🦮❤️”

“Lorelei is the best -- she takes such good care of Daisy when we go on a trip. I can see how relaxed and happy she is in the pictures and videos Lorelei sends ❤️”

“Our dog Bourbon stayed with Julie for 3 weeks while we were on vacation. Julie has been so great with Bourbon during his whole stay and we were able to enjoy our vacation without having to worry about him. We got constant update from Julie about Bourbon and we knew that Bourbon was in good hand. There was no other dog during that time at her place so we knew that Bourbon was getting full attention from Julie all the time. We are very satisfied with her care and would recommend her for anyone who needs someone to take care of their dog.”

“Peter was great with our dog. He sent pictures each day and told us how everything was going. Our dog got along with his dogs. We will use him again when we need him to care for our dog.”

“Charmaine was so friendly and knowledgeable it made us and our pup feel good about choosing her. She was also very patient with our 1yr old Lab who is all puppy still. She understood his needs and wants in order to make his stay as fun and comfortable as possible. She communicated with us continuously and quickly which set our minds at ease since this is the first time we have left our fur baby with someone we did not know. Thank you for taking care of our boy Miles!!”

“Steven and Rachel took great care of Daisy! They sent us plenty of updates and responded quickly to any questions. Daisy had a blast playing with their Daisy and they took care of her additional health requests. We’ll definitely ask them to watch her again the next time we go on a trip :)”

“Matt did a great job taking care of Scout. He gave photo updates throughout Scout’s stay. Super easy drop off and pick up. Matt is also super thorough. During drop off, he took careful notes of additional dog sitting instructions. During pick up, he went through a checklist to make sure no belongings was left behind.”

“This was our first time leaving our 6-month-old Miniature Schnauzer, Shiro, for a vacation, and Jenny gave us absolute peace of mind from start to finish. Her communication is phenomenal. Throughout the weekend, she sent us tons of pictures and videos, along with incredibly thoughtful, detailed updates on his day. It was so reassuring to hear how calmly he settled into her home. Jenny strictly followed all of his specific feeding routines and kept him engaged with training, play, and lovely walks. What truly sets Jenny apart is how she goes above and beyond. It was an absolute pleasure having her care for him, and we will definitely be booking with her again in the future.”

“Jennifer went above and beyond to ensure our families fur babies felt loved and comfortable! We received wonderful updates during their time with Jennifer that made my heart and mind feel at ease. I will use Jennifer for any future boarding needs!”

“I got multiple images throughout the trip, often multiple a day. I could tell that Mortdecai was really integrating into family life based on the types of poses and posture. I was so happy with this visit and if I have to travel again I would definitely try to book with Kyah again.”

“Tanya has been so sweet and sending regular photos and update. Punhu was well taken care of and came home even with a bath already. Will recomand Tanya and will book again for sure.”
About: I’m a lifelong dog lover who friends and family regularly trust to care for their pets while they travel. I have two friendly golden retrievers who truly love other dogs and are gentle, playful, and well-socialized. I’m experienced with a wide range of personalities—from high-energy pups who need lots of playtime to senior dogs who prefer a calm, cozy environment. I treat every dog as if they were my own, paying close attention to routines, feeding schedules, medications, and individual quirks. Your dog will enjoy plenty of love, supervised play, and a safe, comfortable home where they’re never just “watched,” but genuinely cared for. I’m happy to provide updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pup is in good hands. I work from home, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, frequent potty breaks, and a calm, structured environment. I’m available for both short-notice needs and bookings well in advance as you plan your travels. My goal is to be your go-to sitter whenever you need reliable, loving care. I have a large fully fenced yard and two friendly, well-socialized golden retrievers who enjoy playing in the backyard by a game of chase and/or fetch. I closely monitor playtime and all interactions, follow each dog’s routine, and can crate, separate, or provide quiet space if needed in order to keep all dogs in my care stress/free, comfortable and happy. Safety, comfort, and trust are always my top priorities. This isn’t just a place where you drop your dog for the day or for a trip. It’s a calm, loving environment where dogs feel safe and loved while you’re away. I choose thoughtful exercise and enrichment to keep them happy and give them plenty of opportunities to burn energy and excitement.
“Debbi took such great care of our puppy. Sent us daily pictures to see what adventures and shinanagins he was getting into. Will definitely be rebooking with Debbi when we head out on vacation again.”

“Thank you for taking excellent care of Plum!! It was a big help knowing she was in great hands with people who care about her. She’s looking forward to returning! Thank you!”

“Pheara went above and beyond for our dog Astro!! She was a great communicator and when she wasn’t able to reach us, took initiative to follow up with our vet to confirm his medication regimen. Astro has epilepsy and during his stay he suffered a medical episode. Pheara dealt with the situation amazingly! She kept us updated on his condition and also reached out to the emergency vet for further advice. Daily picture/video updates allowed us to feel comfortable while on our trip, knowing Astro was being well cared for. We couldn’t recommend her more!”

“Shelby has been an amazing sitter for our 3 cats. She is very professional and easy to work with. We especially appreciate the detailed care she gives our senior cat who has a special diet and needs to administer insulin shots 2 times a day for her diabetes. Our 2 younger cats also love Shelby. Thank you Shelby!”

“Jordan is a pleasure to work with, she took exceptional care of our older cat and this time she also cared for our two new kittens. We came home to a happy bunch of kitties. Thanks Jordan!”

“Bailey was extremely attentive and sweet to our cat. She gave her undivided attention with pets and playing, would definitely use her services again! Thank you Bailey!!”

“I'm very happy that I found Hailey & Joshua. They took great care of my shy, rescue kitty, making her feel comfortable while I was away on a long vacation. They provided excellent communication every step of the way, exceeding all of my expectations. I would absolutely rebook them again.”

“I was very pleased with Alana’s care of my two eighteen year old cats. My elderly cats both have litter box issues which require extra clean-up, including laundering washable pee pads, and cleaning up around the boxes. Alana did not have a problem with this and took it on willingly. Alana spent time with my cats every day petting and brushing them, which I and they appreciated. She also updated me twice a day with texts and pictures. I would highly recommend Alana, and hope to use her again.”

“Jessica was a phenomenal sitter. Sadie needs meds 2× a day. Anyone who has cats, know they are notorious for being bad patients. Jessica won her over with patience and fortitude. She gave us the cold shoulder on our return, but only for a short time and no loud complaints about us leaving her. Would recommend Jessica to anyone looking for a pet sitter”

“Karen was great! She was amazing with our cats...but the icing on the cake was how clean and organized things were when we got home. We rushed out of the house and weren't exactly tidy. Karen got us straightened out. Great care for the fur babies and great care for our home. Thank you so much!!!”

“Went above and beyond! So very thankful for Lisa’s help with my animals. I had a cat and rabbit and she took excellent care of both, even cleaned their cage areas and gave them lots of love and pictures!”

“I’m so grateful that I found Cathleen! I was in a pinch and she saved the day! I can’t speak more highly of how much she helped and made puppy at home! Would definitely recommend and use again!!! If I could give 10 stars I would.”

“Andrea and Bryce have been the kindest and most accommodating sitters. Their dog has been very sweet and friendly with my puppy and they were fast friends in no time! They took lots of photos and sent updates throughout the day which really eased my mind and confirmed my pup was in the best of hands. I’m new to the area, and even when they weren’t able to sit for my pup due to schedule conflicts, they recommended another trusted sitter and went above and beyond in helping me out. I feel so fortunate to have found a safe and loving family to take care of my puppy, and I can’t rec them enough!”

I really appreciated the great communication and updates throughout the day. A relief knowing your pup is being cared for. Will definitely book again!”

“Thanks to Cara we had a wonderful first-time experience on Rover. Yoshi did his first Rover doggy day care and he had a blast. Cara took great care of him and her little girls took to Yoshi. He came home and promptly passed out. Expecting a lot more play dates in the near future. It's awesome to find another Corgi Mom. Thank you, Cara, for welcoming Yoshi into your home. We loved the photos you sent to us throughout the day and hope to add more memories.”

“Karl was a great host for our 6 month old puppy who needed lots of interaction with people. He worked with our schedule and made sure Albie felt at home from the moment he was dropped off to pick up. The whole family interacted with Albie, giving a balanced amount of play vs rest so I picked up a happy calm puppy.”

“Amazing sitter. Could not have asked for a more professional and dedicated person who genuinely cares for dogs and went above and beyond what we have seen in sitter. Highly recommend as a sitter and will keep her in mind for next time.”

“Very thankful for the great care from Steven and Rachel! My puppy needed some extra attention after a recent surgery and they were so patient, accommodating and caring to my pup. Good communication and were flexible to my pups needs. Will book again!”

“Brianna was great, ready for our arrival and Mila took to her just fine. I put a lot of stock into how my Pup greets someone, and it was very comfortable. I appreciate that the house was close to where I needed to be and the calendar was open. Thank you for taking care of my girl”

“Amanda was amazing with Tucker and Rico! They definitely tested her limits in the beginning but she was nothing if not patient and kind! Both of them slept like champs when we got home, it was wonderful! Thankful to find such an amazing person willing to spend time with our doggos!”
About: We both grew up with dogs and have fostered 4 times. We currently own a 3 year old rescue pup. We’ve cared for the smallest of dog breeds (Havanese and Boston Terrier) to the largest of breeds (Labs/retrievers, German shepherds, Belgian malinois, pit bulls, etc) so we’re comfortable with all dogs! I work from home, so I’m available all day every day to play and take care of your pups! We’re open to boarding every day of the week. We do have a 3 year old Lab/Border Collie mix, so your dog must be good with other dogs. I will treat your dogs just like my own! We do live in an apartment, but I’m available throughout the day for potty breaks and playtime. I have a friendly dog that would love to keep your pup company :) I’m also comfortable crating dogs if that’s something you need!

Adventure-ready dog walkers - Poulsbo
About: I’ve taken care of multiple kinds of dogs and cats for family and friends ever since I was a little kid, and owned both kitties and doggies of different breeds most of my life. I’ve read a few training books for doggies, stayed multiple nights for pet sitting, volunteered at pet shops, worked at pet stores, handled kittens and puppies with care, worked with senior cats and dogs, as well as other barn animals as well! I am currently working a part time job in silverdale, usually around 20 hours a week. I work mostly night shifts from 4:30pm to 9:30pm, unless it’s a Sunday. Then I’ll work 10am-3pm. My shifts are always 5 hours, I usually work on the weekends and a few times on the weekdays. I always receive my schedule 2 weeks in advance, so I just need time to plan around that! I have experience with crating dogs and giving them daily medicines if needed, or any unique care. If there is ever at all an emergency situation, I will call you immediately while also taking your dog to the vet.
About: I have been house/pet sitting for a few years now. But aside from that I have a dog and cat of my own! I love hanging out with animals and giving them love and affection. I have loved animals since I was little and have helped take care of my pets since elementary school! I would love to show your animals some love while your away, letting them know they are safe! I am currently unemployed and have a bunch of free time to engage with your animals! I want to include taking care of loving animals into my weekly and/or daily routine! I will walk your dog, play fetch, snuggle and give lots of tummy rubs! I know that your pet will be most comfortable in their safe, familiar environment and want to make sure that your pet is happy!
About: I have been pet sitting since I was younger, i am patient and familiar with stubborn pets and the lovable bulldozers. Just waiting for the right time to take car of my own. I am a reservist so one weekend a month I will be occipied. My work schedule is fairly flexible but please contact me so we can discuss scheduling expectations. I make sure the pet is in comfortable and secure areas of the house. I make sure to always have the leash on before opening doors for walks. If there's a yard I make sure the fences are in good condition and safe from obvious dangers.
About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my entire life, and caring for them has always been part of my everyday world. From a young age, my life has revolved around animals and helping them become the best versions of themselves. Some of my earliest experiences were with cats, including a feral rescue named Misty I bonded with closely as a child. I tend to connect well with animals that are more troubled, reactive, or unsure, and I’m often able to bring out their calmer, more trusting side. Later on in my life, my experience expanded significantly through raising and caring for Golden Retrievers. Growing up around breeding and long-term dog care taught me responsibility, consistency, and how much attention animals need at different stages of life. I’ve been involved in raising dogs from newborns to adulthood, and many of the dogs I’ve helped raise have gone on to become unforgettable adventure companions for their families. Over the past fifteen years, I’ve gained extensive experience working with animals through long-term, hands-on care. My background as a Golden Retriever breeder has given me perspective on how different animals can be, even within the same breed. Every animal has unique preferences, behaviors, and ways of communicating, and learning to recognize those differences has been a major part of my experience. I’m comfortable managing multiple animals at once and handling a range of needs without becoming overwhelmed. I’m most accustomed to larger dogs, but my experience raising puppies has given me the delicacy and awareness needed to care for smaller animals as well. I’m especially familiar with puppies under six months old, including their unpredictable behavior and the extra attention they require. I’ve also worked with dogs that can be semi-reactive in certain situations. While I’m not willing to take on dogs that are broadly aggressive, I retain the right to assess the dog before accepting. I’m most comfortable with working with dogs that are borderline reactive but not reactive-aggressive. I can recognize signs of stress or reactivity, and can manage dogs that are generally well-functioning but may need thoughtful handling in specific situations. I currently have a flexible schedule and am available for drop-ins and walks throughout the day, generally between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, unless I’m staying at a client’s home for house sitting. Animal care already shapes my daily routine, and I’m used to structuring my day around feeding schedules, exercise, outdoor exposure, and rest. I’m comfortable juggling different routines and planning time and resources around an animal’s specific needs. I’m very conscientious about safety and environmental risks. I pay close attention to doors, gates, toxic plants, household hazards, interactions with unfamiliar animals, and changes in an animal’s behavior. I rely on observation and experience to distinguish between normal behavior and something that may need attention. If something seems off, I communicate clearly and directly, providing context and details without being alarmist. I also enjoy sharing updates and photos so owners feel informed and connected while they’re away. I have experience filming and taking photos of animals especially dogs and cats that don’t sit still - so you’re bound to get a good photo or two of them.

About: Lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience! I grew up with multiple dogs and have spent years walking and caring for pets, including overnight stays. I’m comfortable with different routines, energy levels, and personalities—and I always make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and cared for. Mondays–Wednesdays are my off days and my most flexible time. I work Thursday–Sunday afternoons starting around 2, and my mornings are usually reserved for staying active—walks, workouts, or anything that gets me moving. I don’t have pets currently, but I’ve grown up caring for family and friends’ dogs and I’m comfortable with most breeds, prioritizing calm, safe, attentive care.
“Lisa continues to be a great caregiver for our dog! We have used her services on several occasions and will continue to for the future. She has great communication and you can tell she really cares!”

About: I’ve fostered dogs with the company Animal pad in San Diego, I adopted one of those dogs and I volunteer for the Kitsap humane society. I’m recently out of the Navy and about to start school. Looking for short term income where I can have a flexible schedule on the new journey in my life. I will make sure your pet feels safe and cared for while you are away and send plenty of cute pictures so you know they are cared for so you can enjoy your time.
“Brooke and his family have done a fantastic job on walking and having funs with my 15 year old Kelpie mix, Sarah. Because of her age, she walks very slow from time to time and also not good with high temperature during those hot summer days. Brooke has been very considerate and accommodating for Sarah's situation and we are very grateful to find a great dog walker!”
“Elizabeth has been great for walking our dog when we have long work days. She’s very communicative and shares adorable pictures. Our dog seems to really enjoy her walks with Elizabeth. Highly recommend!”

About: I grew up with a dog and 2 cats. Our dog was a beagle who joined our family around the time I was 3, so I spent my whole childhood playing with, cuddling with, and taking care of a dog. I also helped my parents train him with clickers and treats (positive reinforcement). I have also spent the last about 7-8 years taking care of my friends’ pets when needed. I’ve taken care of a friend’s boxer/hound/etc mix (while caring for her family’s 5 cats), another friend’s bulldog/boxer/etc mix, my sister’s coonhound mix (at ages 2 years and younger), and assisted my sister with taking care of some dogs when she was previously on Rover (senior chihuahua, and a couple mid/large-sized dogs). Additionally, I started volunteering with Kitsap Humane Society over the last few months and have really enjoyed walking a large variety of dogs there. I love cuddling with dogs, getting them outside in the fresh air, and just spending time with them in general. Plus, I’ve got a bachelor’s in psychology, so I’ve got plenty of behavioral science knowledge. I have a fully remote job, so I am almost always home. With that flexibility, I will have plenty of time for going on walks, having some play time, and giving your sweet dog love and attention. On weekends, I love to get outside for a run or walk and would be happy to bring your dog with me if they enjoy getting some good exercise in. I don’t have any pets in my home, but am not able to offer boarding at my house due to my boyfriend’s allergies. In your home, I am always happy to do whatever is best for your dog. If they like going to a specific dog park, like walking on trails, need specific sorts of activity, etc., please let me know and I am happy to do whatever I need to do to keep them happy and comfortable while you’re gone. Overall, just here to do whatever is best for you and your dog.
About: I’m a dog owner myself, so I understand how important it is to have someone dependable caring for your dog when you can’t be there. I’m attentive to routines, feeding schedules, walks, and the little details that help dogs feel comfortable and secure. I also have personal experience caring for a blind dog, so I understand the patience, consistency, and extra attention some dogs need to feel safe and comfortable. I’m patient, responsible, and comfortable adjusting to each dog’s personality and routine. I’ll follow your care instructions closely and keep you updated so you know how your dog is doing while they’re with me. My schedule is currently flexible, which allows me to accommodate walks and drop-in visits throughout the week. I keep my availability updated and do my best to work with each dog’s normal routine and schedule. I follow each owner’s instructions closely and take time to understand their dog’s routine, temperament, and individual needs. I make sure doors and gates are secure, provide food and fresh water as directed, and keep a close eye on each dog’s comfort and behavior. I also have personal experience caring for my own blind dog, so I understand how important patience, consistency, and a safe environment can be for dogs with special needs.
About: I’ve had animals my whole life! I’ve grown up with cats, dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, and even a pet rat! I love animals and want to spend time with them as much as possible! I believe animals are definitely humans best friend and should be treated accordingly! My experience over the years has taught me how to care for and respect an animal. I also have experience with giving oral medication and providing updates to owners about how their pets are doing while in my care. Pet care is something I’m passionate about because animals give me so much joy and unconditional love! Pet care fits into my open schedule to be able to enjoy taking care of others pets! I also want to make sure that the animal is comfortable with me and that the owner feels good about leaving them in my capable hands!

She was able to be flexible and adapt to the schedule in the event of inclement weather and we hope to reach out to her again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats alike since I was 16. I started by pet sitting overnight for my grandparents while they were on vacation and eventually started pet sitting for friends and family. I’ve handled walking, feeding, enrichment, and medication needs. I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes and dispositions and have no problem staying overnight as needed. I am self-employed and therefore have the flexibility in my schedule to care for your pets in the way they deserve, whether that be an overnight stay or regular walks and potty breaks. My cats sleep in my bed with me and get regular pets and cuddles. I provide enrichment as often as they seem interested. I care for clients’ pets like I would care for my own. If the pets are allowed to sleep on the bed or sit on the furniture with me, I love animal cuddles and am happy to share my space.
About: I have been with Rover for four years, I’m learning a lot and having so much fun doing so. I enjoy using Rover to interact with dogs of all breeds and ages. I do have lots more previous experience before Rover but so far this has been the best experience with meeting new people and their dogs. I just recently earned a certificate in dog training with Animal behavioral college. It was a 18 month extensive program and I learned a lot with studying and hands on training. Message me for any questions you have about dog training. With all of my volunteer experience in shelters, and with my own pets, I am comfortable with giving medicine or following any special instructions. I have a fenced back yard with lots of space to run and play. We frequent all the local trails, no matter the weather, so if you need a tired dog, I am your go to Walker or doggie daycare provider! Message me for all your overnight/ extended stay questions. I also care for other animals, so please feel free to message me for cats, birds, exotics, reptiles, etc. I do this full time so my schedule is all about pet care! I set time for long dog walks, playtime, and I work with your feeding schedule. Pets always have water available to them, I keep my backyard tidy and poop free, dog friendly toys only, healthy treats, I stay on feeding schedules, safe walks, and I never leave your pet unattended with children or other animals.

“Casie is amazing! She was so sweet and took great care of my girl! She sent daily updates and pictures, her dog cognac was such a nice boy and played with my girl so good. I will be only using Casie from now on!”

“Our dog loved playing with the other pups at David‘s house, and came back happy and tired! It is definitely clear that he cares about dogs and provides them with an awesome space to run around in together!”

“Liz exceeded all my exceptions when boarding my boy, Bexo! Not only does she provide a "home away from home", but with a stream of photos of Bexo exploring her huge yard and going for walks on the surrounding trails, I really felt like he was getting a vacation of his own. Bexo can take a while to warm up to new people, and doesn't do well with other dogs. While discussing this at drop off, I discovered that Liz is also a trainer with extensive experience working with special needs. This was immediately apparent in the her interactions with Bexo, as she made sure Bexo was conformable with her before I left. She really seem to "hear" him, and I've never seen him take to a stranger so fast. Thanks again Liz! Bexo can't wait until next time.”

“Conor did great with Momo and Maisy! He is professional and kind and loves his doggie guests. He even put a tracker on Momo (Belgian Malinois) since she likes to jump fences. He has tall fences and this didn't become an issue but gave me more peace of mind that he did that without being asked to. Thank you so much!”

“We left our golden Lou with Don for over a week while we were traveling abroad. Don is always great to communicate with, and he’s great with Lou. He provided photos and video updates and takes such great care of our boy. We returned home with a very happy and tired pup.”

“Philip was so good with our first doggy (1 yr old puppy) and his care was excellent with our second (3yr old choc lab). Steve had lovely park walks, mental stimulation and came back very happy doggie. Highly recommend!”

“We couldn't have asked for a better sitter! Our dog was so well cared for, and it truly felt like a home away from home. We loved receiving daily photo updates, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. We would absolutely book again. Highly recommend!”

“Ali is an INCREDIBLE dog caregiver and overall human being. She took so much time and care into taking care of my beagle, Buddy. We received daily photos and videos which made me feel assured that he was in good hands. Buddy even cried when we came to pick him up because he was gonna miss Ali and her cute pup, Pepe!”
