About: We both grew up with dogs and have fostered 4 times. We currently own a 3 year old rescue pup. We’ve cared for the smallest of dog breeds (Havanese and Boston Terrier) to the largest of breeds (Labs/retrievers, German shepherds, Belgian malinois, pit bulls, etc) so we’re comfortable with all dogs! About: I have cared for my own dog, Jolene for 4-years. She’s a well-tempered chocolate Labrador always eager to make best friends with your furry kid! Large green yard for fetch and zoomies, daily hikes can be included if preferred! I work remote full-time, Monday through Friday (8-5pm), however have plenty of time to provide bio-breaks, play-time, and walks! I have 2 large outdoor living spaces (deck and covered front porch) that are baby gated. Even when they’re inside, they will have the perks of being outside! Dogs are welcome to lounge on the decks benefiting from the sounds and smells of the forest. Large and laundered memory foam dog beds provided on the deck. Multiple water bowl stations throughout the house. Depending on your preference, I can take your loved one outside on a leash during the day for potty breaks and then take them to Strawberry Hill dog park for play-time / hiking trails OR if you trust your dogs command responsiveness, we can go and play outside off leash. House set 100-150’ off the road. Dogs never let outside unsupervised.

About: I’ve taken care of multiple kinds of dogs and cats for family and friends ever since I was a little kid, and owned both kitties and doggies of different breeds most of my life. I’ve read a few training books for doggies, stayed multiple nights for pet sitting, volunteered at pet shops, worked at pet stores, handled kittens and puppies with care, worked with senior cats and dogs, as well as other barn animals as well! I am currently working a part time job in silverdale, usually around 20 hours a week. I work mostly night shifts from 4:30pm to 9:30pm, unless it’s a Sunday. Then I’ll work 10am-3pm. My shifts are always 5 hours, I usually work on the weekends and a few times on the weekdays. I always receive my schedule 2 weeks in advance, so I just need time to plan around that! I have experience with crating dogs and giving them daily medicines if needed, or any unique care. If there is ever at all an emergency situation, I will call you immediately while also taking your dog to the vet.

About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my entire life, and caring for them has always been part of my everyday world. From a young age, my life has revolved around animals and helping them become the best versions of themselves. Some of my earliest experiences were with cats, including a feral rescue named Misty I bonded with closely as a child. I tend to connect well with animals that are more troubled, reactive, or unsure, and I’m often able to bring out their calmer, more trusting side. Later on in my life, my experience expanded significantly through raising and caring for Golden Retrievers. Growing up around breeding and long-term dog care taught me responsibility, consistency, and how much attention animals need at different stages of life. I’ve been involved in raising dogs from newborns to adulthood, and many of the dogs I’ve helped raise have gone on to become unforgettable adventure companions for their families. Over the past fifteen years, I’ve gained extensive experience working with animals through long-term, hands-on care. My background as a Golden Retriever breeder has given me perspective on how different animals can be, even within the same breed. Every animal has unique preferences, behaviors, and ways of communicating, and learning to recognize those differences has been a major part of my experience. I’m comfortable managing multiple animals at once and handling a range of needs without becoming overwhelmed. I’m most accustomed to larger dogs, but my experience raising puppies has given me the delicacy and awareness needed to care for smaller animals as well. I’m especially familiar with puppies under six months old, including their unpredictable behavior and the extra attention they require. I’ve also worked with dogs that can be semi-reactive in certain situations. While I’m not willing to take on dogs that are broadly aggressive, I retain the right to assess the dog before accepting. I’m most comfortable with working with dogs that are borderline reactive but not reactive-aggressive. I can recognize signs of stress or reactivity, and can manage dogs that are generally well-functioning but may need thoughtful handling in specific situations. I currently have a flexible schedule and am available for drop-ins and walks throughout the day, generally between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, unless I’m staying at a client’s home for house sitting. Animal care already shapes my daily routine, and I’m used to structuring my day around feeding schedules, exercise, outdoor exposure, and rest. I’m comfortable juggling different routines and planning time and resources around an animal’s specific needs. I’m very conscientious about safety and environmental risks. I pay close attention to doors, gates, toxic plants, household hazards, interactions with unfamiliar animals, and changes in an animal’s behavior. I rely on observation and experience to distinguish between normal behavior and something that may need attention. If something seems off, I communicate clearly and directly, providing context and details without being alarmist. I also enjoy sharing updates and photos so owners feel informed and connected while they’re away. I have experience filming and taking photos of animals especially dogs and cats that don’t sit still - so you’re bound to get a good photo or two of them.

About: I grew up with a dog and 2 cats. Our dog was a beagle who joined our family around the time I was 3, so I spent my whole childhood playing with, cuddling with, and taking care of a dog. I also helped my parents train him with clickers and treats (positive reinforcement). I have also spent the last about 7-8 years taking care of my friends’ pets when needed. I’ve taken care of a friend’s boxer/hound/etc mix (while caring for her family’s 5 cats), another friend’s bulldog/boxer/etc mix, my sister’s coonhound mix (at ages 2 years and younger), and assisted my sister with taking care of some dogs when she was previously on Rover (senior chihuahua, and a couple mid/large-sized dogs). Additionally, I started volunteering with Kitsap Humane Society over the last few months and have really enjoyed walking a large variety of dogs there. I love cuddling with dogs, getting them outside in the fresh air, and just spending time with them in general. Plus, I’ve got a bachelor’s in psychology, so I’ve got plenty of behavioral science knowledge. I have a fully remote job, so I am almost always home. With that flexibility, I will have plenty of time for going on walks, having some play time, and giving your sweet dog love and attention. On weekends, I love to get outside for a run or walk and would be happy to bring your dog with me if they enjoy getting some good exercise in. I don’t have any pets in my home, but am not able to offer boarding at my house due to my boyfriend’s allergies. In your home, I am always happy to do whatever is best for your dog. If they like going to a specific dog park, like walking on trails, need specific sorts of activity, etc., please let me know and I am happy to do whatever I need to do to keep them happy and comfortable while you’re gone. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats alike since I was 16. I started by pet sitting overnight for my grandparents while they were on vacation and eventually started pet sitting for friends and family. I’ve handled walking, feeding, enrichment, and medication needs. I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes and dispositions and have no problem staying overnight as needed. I am self-employed and therefore have the flexibility in my schedule to care for your pets in the way they deserve, whether that be an overnight stay or regular walks and potty breaks. My cats sleep in my bed with me and get regular pets and cuddles. I provide enrichment as often as they seem interested. I care for clients’ pets like I would care for my own. About: I have been with Rover for four years, I’m learning a lot and having so much fun doing so. I enjoy using Rover to interact with dogs of all breeds and ages. I do have lots more previous experience before Rover but so far this has been the best experience with meeting new people and their dogs. I just recently earned a certificate in dog training with Animal behavioral college. It was a 18 month extensive program and I learned a lot with studying and hands on training.
