“Whitney dropped in and played with our two month old puppy twice while we had an afternoon in Seattle. She was prompt, communicative, reliable and kind. We know Maple felt comfortable with her as we got a photo of her getting some belly rubs- her favorite! Thank you, Whitney!”

“Austin was great! He always sent us the best photos of our cats and communicated well about how they were doing. Our cats were happy to have him around each day! :)”

About: I’ve been a life long animal lover and long time pet owner. Starting at about age 8 as a neighborhood dog walker, to the 5 most recent years I’ve had 2 xl dogs and 1 xs cat. Though I am not a trainer, I have trained my 2 xl dogs to be responsible citizens, through many classes, daily structured walks, and continued to research positive reinforcement training in order to work toward calm minds on the dog’s part. Growing confidence and good decision making skills is my main goal when walking my own pups, starting one at 12 weeks old (he was a major piranha) and the other at 1.5 years when she was already a hard headed extra strong dog. I always strive to ensure each one of my animals gets what they need to be happy and successful. I’m believe in a short leash until you prove you’re ready for more. Fast walker with reasonable sniff stops and love a good pup cup. I walk with hands off leash for easy access to treats, Ziwi mackerel and lamb food as my go to, as well as to lengthen or shorten the leash and redirect as needed. I have experience with gentle leaders, slip leads, and martingale collars. I’m available for weekend walks and check ins. This may expand as time goes on but for the time being I’m very flexible on weekends. I have experience with escape artists and runners (the cat) and am well versed in the good ol’ leg through the door or throwing treats ahead of you to avoid mishaps. I tend to be a ‘only let them out of the crate when they’re not crying’ type of a person to train quiet releases in my own home, but am happy to pivot based on individual preferences.
About: I've had years of experience taking care of my own pets and also worked as a pet groomer for many years. I've had many animals throughout my life dogs, cats, ferrets, tortoises you name it. I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule during the week and my weekends are wide open to spend time with your pets or have them over at my house. I have a fenced backyard and two dogs of my own that love to run and play with other dogs. While your pet is with me they are part of our family.
“Emma was great with my pups. She was reliable and responsible I think well liked by my pack (seriously… they would have told me if she were anything other than terrific) Good communication too!”

“We could not be more grateful for Jeff! Our pet wound up having a medical emergency just a few hours after we landed in a different state, and Jeff was so quick to act and coordinate with us to get him to an emergency vet in time. We owe him a great deal!”

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a pre-teen, but fell in love with animal care fully in my junior year of high school, after I began volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter. Since then, I have changed positions and worked as a post-surgery volunteer with PAWS, transporting and handling anesthetized animals after they underwent surgeries. This summer I am also interning at PAWS again, this time as a Foster Care Intern, where I manage the entire foster care system behind the scenes. Additionally, I have worked with large animals such as horses while volunteering, dairy cattle, and pigs as my job on the side. I will continue to grow my portfolio, as I am a Pre-Vet Animal Science major at Washington State University with the goal of becoming a veterinarian one day. I am currently on summer break in my hometown (Everett) and have pretty open availability. I intern at paws from 8am-12pm on Sundays & Mondays, and 12-5pm on Thursdays, but other than that, I am free for walks, house sitting, or drop ins! Safety is extremely important during both house sitting & walks! For walks, I like to make sure dogs stay on the side of the sidewalk away from the road, as well as being properly harnessed and equipped with essential needs like poop bags and water incase of an emergency. I also keep a sharp eye out for other dogs to steer clear from unwanted interactions. Additionally, during house sitting, outside doors stay locked at all times, and your pet is watched 24/7. No escapes will happen on my watch! I am open to following any other rules, expectations or suggestions you have regarding your pet & house’s safety!
About: Professionally speaking, I worked at an emergency and specialty hospital for 2 years. There not only did I learn valuable skills in handling animals, but I also learned how to perform CPR and how to recognize a medical emergency. Next I worked at a doggy daycare that was privately owned and took in dogs of a variety of temperaments and medical needs. I monitored play groups by observing body language and watching for potentially escalating behavior. Personally speaking, I was raised on a farm with a variety of animals. I rescued my first foster dog about 10 years ago when I was almost 30. She still lives with one of my friends and is a spoiled dog in the perfect home. Once I met my spouse over 6 years ago, we started our own animal family together. She is a critical care licensed veterinary technician in a local specialty hospital. I came along with two dogs of my own, they came along with a dog that was untouchable when she was adopted. I was lucky enough to be the second person to earn her trust and now she is just as much my girl. Since we have adopted a 9lbs pomchi who tried biting us in the parking lot when her previous home was moving out the country. It was a very scary event for a little dog; she needed a total of one chicken nugget and patience but now I get to see the trust in her eyes. We have 2 cats who came from PAWS and 2 cats who were found in a park. Then we have our leopard gecko, corn snake, and ball python. We previously had rabbits who have since moved on. With 4 years of professional experience and 35 years before that of personal experience, I am comfortable with all animals and excited to meet yours! I am a believer in low stress, force-free handling, and I accommodate to the individual pet's needs and boundaries. Currently I am a pet sitter full time and happy to meet your pets needs. With my spouse at home able to focus on our animals, I am able to focus on yours! I do often leave for 1-3 hours at a time during house stays to run errands, but if I am needed there 100% of the time, I am happy to have a conversation. I know how hard it can be with some animals needing 24/7 1:1 care. Due to my own animals behavioral needs, I do not bring new animals into our home or bring my animals with me. Every new animal is an adjustment period for my fur babies so I do not bring them to my home. However, my animals have my spouse so I can focus on your babies. I do not yell or believe in using force. I prefer to not use prong collars or training collars. I love to reward and make animals feel safe. I love a note of things you would love for your animal to do or what your animals schedule and needs are like. I will follow your requests 100%. I know what a medical emergency looks like and I know where the local emergency hospitals are just in case. I do not have human children to consider, my animals are my kids and I will treat your babies like my own.
“Holly was excellent taking care of both our dogs 2x daily while we were away. She was punctual, friendly and always communicated well. Our pups were very happy with her! We will definitely use her in the future.”

About: I’ve had a love for dogs for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was little, I was always the first to volunteer for dog walks, pet sitting, or any opportunity to spend time caring for animals. Over the years, I became the go-to person for family, friends, and neighbors needing someone they could trust with their pets, giving me more than 20 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I previously had a Golden Retriever who lived to 12 years old and a Lhasa Apso/Yorkie mix who lived to the incredible age of 18, both of whom were deeply loved members of my family. I currently have a gentle 17-year-old cat, a friendly 4-year-old English Cream Golden Retriever, and will soon be welcoming a corgi puppy into our home as well. Our home is very pet-friendly, and my two boys (18 and 7) have grown up around animals and love helping give visiting pets extra attention and affection. I understand how important it is to find someone you can fully trust with your pets, because I know firsthand that they truly are family. I take pride in creating a safe, loving, and comfortable environment where pets feel cared for, relaxed, and at home. Whether your dog loves playtime, cuddles, walks, or simply companionship, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention and care while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet and care for your furry family member! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I am available for weekend boarding and can often accommodate weekday stays with advance notice. With a flexible schedule and a pet-friendly home, I have plenty of time to provide walks, playtime, cuddles, and individualized care. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to make their stay feel like a home away from home. Safety and comfort are my top priorities. I take time to learn each pet's routine, preferences, and any special needs before their stay so I can provide care that feels as familiar as possible. In my home, pets are treated like family and are never left without appropriate supervision for extended periods. I provide regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, fresh water, meals according to their schedule, and plenty of affection. I understand that every pet is different, so I adjust my approach based on their personality and comfort level. Whether your pet loves to play, go for walks, or simply relax nearby, I strive to create a calm, safe, and welcoming environment. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for while you're away.
“Isaac was reliable, communicative, and took great care of our two cats during their drop-in visits. I appreciated the updates he gave while we were away and would definitely book with him again in the future. Overall, great experience and highly recommend!”

About: Dog and cat owner for over 18 years. I also have had hermet crabs and an axolotl - love all animals! They all have a unique personality and it's so fun to get to know them. Just a girl who was not able to have animals as a child so I have an entire adulthood to make up for that surrounding myself with the best creatures out there - animals! We can learn so much as people from animals and showing how we care for animals reflects who we are. I currently am a mom at home with kids in school so I have availability during the day and am flexible for evenings as well. I have a dog, 2 cats and an axolotl. It's important animals feel safe with me so I let them take the lead and I engage with them when they show they are ready. I'm happy to do what you as the client feel comfortable with and need for your fur babies to feel safe and comfortable.

“Ryan is amazing! He has taken such great care of our pup! He has great communication and is very reliable. I will absolutely work with him again in the future and would recommend him to anyone.”

“Kylie did a fabulous job on the drop in visit today, esp as one of our dogs decided to destroy a pillow! She let us know right away and fixed things. So appreciate the extra TLC today!!!”

About: I’ve been working with animals since I was little. My friends and family have trusted me to walk and take care of their animals, either when they have to stay late at work or they are out of town. I have always been trusted to take care of their Animals. I’m currently working as an uber driver so my schedule is very flexible for you and your pets. I can make almost any day or time work for you! I take very good care of my pets at home. Unfortunately I’m not doing boarding at my home but I’d love to stay with your fur baby’s while you are out of town and make sure they are happy and safe.
“Alex was awesome with my three cats. She even won over my grumpiest cat, who doesn't even let me hold him! She is very friendly and communicative. Would definitely recommend and book with again!”

About: I’ve cared for two rescue dogs of my own - my first was a chihuahua mix with separation anxiety, and my second was an high energy Australian cattle dog. I loved them deeply. While I haven’t adopted again, I regularly pet-sit for family and friends and make a point to visit animal rescues around the world. Your pets will be in good hands with me. I understand they’re family, each with their own personality, quirks, and needs. If you have special instructions, I’ll follow them thoroughly - I’m dependable, attentive, and detail-oriented. I also love being active, especially walking, so I’ll make sure your dog gets plenty of exercise, attention, and care. I’ll be in Washington for the summer with a very open and flexible schedule. After nearly a year of traveling around Asia, I’ve really been missing being around animals - caring for pets is my way of reconnecting with that nurturing side of myself. I genuinely love having animals around. While I’m currently building an online business, I’ll be spending most of my time at home, so your pet will get plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. My home is set up with your dog’s comfort and safety in mind. We have a fully fenced backyard for secure outdoor play, and we’re just minutes from the park for daily walks and adventures. We also have a shy, timid cat at home - so dogs who are cat-sensitive do best here. For added peace of mind, I can keep pets in a separate bedroom if needed. Your dog won’t just be watched - they’ll be part of the family. Everyone in my home is an animal lover, pets are welcome on the furniture, and your pup can sleep in the bed just like they do at home.
“I was glad Paris was available to watch my cat while I was traveling during the busy holiday season. It was a relief to know someone would check on Clover everyday, allowing her to stay in a familiar environment. Paris sent me lots of pictures which I really appreciated and provided updates on how things were going. She communicated well about her schedule so we could plan with flexibility and even stayed a bit longer on some drop ins to give extra attention to the kitty. She also asked questions when unsure and was great about responding to my messages, questions, and suggestions. Luckily after the first couple days, I didn’t feel as anxious about leaving my cat at home or needing to check in on her too much, which made for a more restful vacation. Paris showed she was comfortable with taking care of cats - feeding, watching behaviors, tidying the litter box, etc. My kitty gave her some trouble with taking pills, so we opted to just do meds in the food to be safe. Despite that hiccup, they made good friends quickly and got lots of cuddle time and some play sessions. I know Clover was happy to see her everyday for food and lap time. And I was happy to stay updated each day. Additionally, Paris did well managing the entry/exit and security of my house responsibly. She was kind to forgive the clutter and everything seemed in place when I returned. And I think our working together helped keep things as normal as possible for my cat while I was away. Of course we pet parents might always prefer to be the ones always watching after them, but it’s great to have good supplemental caregivers when you need them. If you’re in the area and need a pet sitter, I’d definitely consider working with Paris.”

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 10! Growing up I owned multiple small and big dogs, helped breed golden retrievers, and I currently work as a kennel technician at The Puppy Store in Vineyard! I love taking care of dogs, I am experienced in medicine handling and administering, and grooming. I can’t wait to meet your furry family members! I am working part-time and go to school full-time, so I can work with you and we can make figure out our schedules! I’d be more than willing to drop by and take care of your dog, watch them, walk them, and love them! I’ll be flexible with you as long as you’re patient with me! I respect the dog’s boundaries and I try my best to gain their trust before I fully interact with them. If I go to your house I become fully aware of the space the dog has. I will never put your dog in a dangerous position. I am experienced in administering medication to your dog if necessary.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
