“We could not be more grateful for Jeff! Our pet wound up having a medical emergency just a few hours after we landed in a different state, and Jeff was so quick to act and coordinate with us to get him to an emergency vet in time. We owe him a great deal!”

“Jenna did a great job with our 2 pups for the week. She communicates well and understood what we needed for our dogs. Very punctual and she made sure they got the love they needed. Would book again. Thank you!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was little. Over the years, my friends and family have trusted me to walk, feed, and care for their pets whenever they have to work late or are out of town. I’ve always been responsible, dependable, and trustworthy when it comes to caring for animals, and I truly enjoy making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m currently working as an uber driver so my schedule is very flexible for you and your pets. I can make almost any day or time work for you! I take very good care of my pets at home. Unfortunately I’m not doing boarding at my home but I’d love to stay with your fur baby’s while you are out of town and make sure they are happy and safe.
About: Dog and cat owner for over 18 years. I also have had hermet crabs and an axolotl - love all animals! They all have a unique personality and it's so fun to get to know them. Just a girl who was not able to have animals as a child so I have an entire adulthood to make up for that surrounding myself with the best creatures out there - animals! We can learn so much as people from animals and showing how we care for animals reflects who we are. I currently am a mom at home with kids in school so I have availability during the day and am flexible for evenings as well. I have a dog, 2 cats and an axolotl. It's important animals feel safe with me so I let them take the lead and I engage with them when they show they are ready. I'm happy to do what you as the client feel comfortable with and need for your fur babies to feel safe and comfortable.

“We love Nicole and amazing to have her back for the moment! She is so good with dogs and they love her, especially Miss Bella. Thank you for making our dogs feel loved and taking care of them!”

“Holly really helped me in a pinch. She came and took great care of my dog and cat while I was gone which allowed me to enjoy my vacation. I definitely would rebook with her in the future.”

About: I have 27 years of experience in veterinary medicine as a veterinary assistant. I'm comfortable administering oral medications and injections, caring for senior pets, and monitoring pets with special medical needs. I understand how important it is to provide patient, compassionate, and reliable care so your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I currently work very part time. Typically 2 shifts a week in the evenings. The longest I would be away from your pets would be approximately 9 hours 1-2x weekly. I am also on call for my aging family members. They are close so my time away is minimal. When caring for pets in a client's home, I strive to maintain their normal routine and environment to reduce stress. I follow all feeding, medication, exercise, and care instructions carefully, while monitoring for any changes in behavior, appetite, or health. With 27 years of veterinary experience, I understand the importance of safety, attention to detail, and clear communication with pet owners.
About: Welcome to a home where your pup will be treated like family! We provide a loving, safe, and fun environment tailored to each dog's personality—whether they’re a playful pup bursting with energy or a senior dog who just wants a soft place to rest and plenty of love. Losing our beloved Punky after 16 wonderful years left a hole in our hearts, but it also deepened our appreciation for the love and care that older dogs need. Senior pups hold a special place in our home, and I understand the little things that make their lives easier—gentle walks, medication assistance, extra snuggles, and a cozy, quiet space to relax. But don’t worry, we love the zoomies and playful energy of younger pups, too! We’re excited to fill our home with tail wags, happy barks, and the joy that only dogs can bring. No matter your pup’s age or personality, they’ll be welcomed with open arms and plenty of belly rubs! New Rover clients: get -$20 off the first ever booking with Rover by using Your Promo Code: MICHET64322. (Rover gives you $20 off but sitters still get paid the same rate.) For Boeing employees: you get $2,000/year free as part of your benefits (use it or lose it); ask me about it and I'll show you how to do it! Safety is my priority—I ensure all pets are secure, hydrated, and well cared for at all times. 📸 Updates for Peace of Mind: I know how important it is to stay connected with your furry friend while you're away. That’s why I send regular updates, photos, and messages so you can feel at ease knowing they’re happy, loved, and well cared for. I can’t wait to meet your furry best friend and provide them with a home full of love and care. 🐾💛 By confirming your booking, you agree that photos and videos of your pet may be used to promote my pet-sitting business, including on social media and other marketing platforms; if you prefer your pet not be featured, simply let me know before their stay.
“Did a great job caring for our cats and dogs, confirmed with us that she gave meds and took care of a pet mess with more poise than I would have- definitely recommend and will work with again!”

“Kylie was great! I had a last minute dog sitter need and didn’t have anyone available to help me out. I turned to Rover and found Kylie. When we messaged she could tell I was nervous about all of it and offered to come by to meet me and Henry the day before. Leaving your precious, but also super skittish dog with strangers and letting them come into your home while you’re away can be scary so her coming by to meet us made me feel so much better! She communicated with me and sent me pictures throughout the night. I appreciate Rover and Kylie. I’ll definitely be using her again for my dog sitter needs from now on.”

About: Hi, I’m Kristin! I’m an Occupational Therapy Assistant with a flexible schedule and a lifelong love of animals. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your furry family members while you’re away. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages, including senior pets and those who need a little extra patience and attention. I currently have a senior dog and an indoor cat, so I understand that every pet has their own unique personality, routine, and needs. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I believe in treating every pet as if they were my own, and I’ll keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away. I’m reliable, responsible, and excited to meet your four-legged family members. I can’t wait to spoil your pets with the love and attention they deserve! I have summers off, but I occasionally pick up shifts to cover at hospitals but I will be available no later than 2-3 pm every day during the week. Weekends I have open availability! I have a 2 bedroom condo with a smaller back patio area. My dog and cat are allowed on my furniture. If need be I can keep my cat in his separate room for increased comfort.
“I was glad Paris was available to watch my cat while I was traveling during the busy holiday season. It was a relief to know someone would check on Clover everyday, allowing her to stay in a familiar environment. Paris sent me lots of pictures which I really appreciated and provided updates on how things were going. She communicated well about her schedule so we could plan with flexibility and even stayed a bit longer on some drop ins to give extra attention to the kitty. She also asked questions when unsure and was great about responding to my messages, questions, and suggestions. Luckily after the first couple days, I didn’t feel as anxious about leaving my cat at home or needing to check in on her too much, which made for a more restful vacation. Paris showed she was comfortable with taking care of cats - feeding, watching behaviors, tidying the litter box, etc. My kitty gave her some trouble with taking pills, so we opted to just do meds in the food to be safe. Despite that hiccup, they made good friends quickly and got lots of cuddle time and some play sessions. I know Clover was happy to see her everyday for food and lap time. And I was happy to stay updated each day. Additionally, Paris did well managing the entry/exit and security of my house responsibly. She was kind to forgive the clutter and everything seemed in place when I returned. And I think our working together helped keep things as normal as possible for my cat while I was away. Of course we pet parents might always prefer to be the ones always watching after them, but it’s great to have good supplemental caregivers when you need them. If you’re in the area and need a pet sitter, I’d definitely consider working with Paris.”

“Kevin was awesome! He was very easy to coordinate with and punctual. He was able to help take care of my cats’ food, water, litter box cleaning, cat deliveries and taking out the kitty trash while I was away! He also gave me the option to extend and was flexible which I appreciated. After meeting with him I also rebooked him for additional longer term help that included medication administering.”

“Austin was great! He always sent us the best photos of our cats and communicated well about how they were doing. Our cats were happy to have him around each day! :)”

About: I always had a large dog growing up. Just haven't gotten one of my own. All dogs are welcome, big or small, as long as they are potty trained, and dont chew on shoes or furniture. I am available to make sure they are walked, fed, and let outside throughout the day. There are no children in the house to worry about. The house is small, but full of love. There is nothing that is breakable or dangerous to the dogs. I currently work full time teaching during the morning and day and have free afternoons. I have a roommate who if I am not home can tend to the dogs. There is a safe road to walk down to get the energy out. I am absolutely willing to take dogs to the park if they enjoy car rides.

We used April for 2 drop in visits recently. She was wonderful! Attentive, prompt with responses, and followed any/all aspects we outlined for care. She was sweet and loving to our dogs, and provided us with photos each time. Would definitely recommend and use again for future bookings!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
