About: I have taken care of animals since I was a pre-teen, but fell in love with animal care fully in my junior year of high school, after I began volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter. Since then, I have changed positions and worked as a post-surgery volunteer with PAWS, transporting and handling anesthetized animals after they underwent surgeries. This summer I am also interning at PAWS again, this time as a Foster Care Intern, where I manage the entire foster care system behind the scenes. Additionally, I have worked with large animals such as horses while volunteering, managed and milked dairy cattle, and took care of pigs as my job on the side. I will continue to grow my portfolio, as I am a Pre-Vet Animal Science major at Washington State University with the goal of becoming a veterinarian one day. I am currently on summer break in my hometown (Everett) and have pretty open availability. I intern at paws from 8am-12pm on Sundays & Mondays, and 12-5pm on Thursdays, but other than that, I am free for walks, house sitting, or drop ins! Safety is extremely important during both house sitting & walks! For walks, I like to make sure dogs stay on the side of the sidewalk away from the road, as well as being properly harnessed and equipped with essential needs like poop bags and water incase of an emergency. I also keep a sharp eye out for other dogs to steer clear from unwanted interactions. Additionally, during house sitting, outside doors stay locked at all times, and your pet is watched 24/7. No escapes will happen on my watch! I am open to following any other rules, expectations or suggestions you have regarding your pet & house’s safety!

About: Hi, I’m Kristin! I’m an Occupational Therapy Assistant with a flexible schedule and a lifelong love of animals. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your furry family members while you’re away. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages, including senior pets and those who need a little extra patience and attention. I currently have a senior dog and an indoor cat, so I understand that every pet has their own unique personality, routine, and needs. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I believe in treating every pet as if they were my own, and I’ll keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away. I’m reliable, responsible, and excited to meet your four-legged family members. I can’t wait to spoil your pets with the love and attention they deserve! I have summers off, but I occasionally pick up shifts to cover at hospitals but I will be available no later than 2-3 pm every day during the week. Weekends I have open availability! I have a 2 bedroom condo with a smaller back patio area. My dog and cat are allowed on my furniture. If need be I can keep my cat in his separate room for increased comfort.

About: I've taken care of of family pets since at least 8 years old, I've trained puppies. Ive always loved animals and I've had Dogs, Cats, and Reptiles. I've never missed a feeding time for any of our pets. I make sure to feed our dogs in the morning and the night, or whatever schedule has been asked. But I have plenty of free time for playing with my animals. Well I love to walk so dogs always get enough exercise, and I make sure to groom my dogs monthly, and I make sure to feed all of my pets well enough.

About: My family loves dogs. We also know how hard it is to find care you can trust. We will send pictures when you are gone and give your dog lots of attention. We have both owned dogs our whole lives and are very familiar with all breeds. We signed up to be foster parents to shelter dogs, have administered medication and taken care of puppies and older dogs. We have one friendly yellow lab who is happy to welcome others into her home and play. We also have a two small children so we ask that your dogs be kid friendly. We are flexible, and can help in picking up and dropping off if nearby on certain days. If interested, please ask and we can try and coordinate. Please contact us! We would love to help you. We have a big yard for the dogs to run around and play in. We let them out whenever needed. Drop off and pick up times are flexible, but we ask that dogs are picked up or dropped off before 10pm. If this cannot be accommodated, we ask you please pay for an additional day and pick up the next morning. Or drop off the day before. We have a fenced in yard and a friendly yellow lab to provide lots of play. Most dogs are pretty tired and happy when they leave! Our kids give them lots of attention as well.

She took his kennel cough on in stride and without my asking she offered to confirm for me that he was passing worms in his stool! Seriously, that is above and beyond!!! I feel as though she cares for him as much as I do - letting me know when his behavior is off and alerting me to his needs. She takes great pictures and communicates well. I was skeptical about giving my house key to someone I didnt know - she set me at ease at our meet and greet and was tje best decision we made after taling Yoshi home. Hire her! She is our go to for midday walks.”
