“Michael is punctual, a great communicator, and it’s obvious he loves animals. Meeko took to him right away and looked forward to his walks. He would fall asleep before Michael could pull away in his car! I HIGHLY recommend Michael and will definitely reach again should the need arise.”

“Xena seemed to really like Lisa. Lisa was even kind enough to help me clip Xena's nails when Xena wouldn't allow me to do it. Xena always seemed happy and relaxed after her walks with Lisa.”

“I love Nicole! She walked my dogs Bruce and Jack for a year and we were so sad she could not come with us when we moved to West Seattle. I would recommend her to any of my friends!”

“Carolynn is very personable and obviously loves dogs. My two senior boys both love her, and their daily walks while I'm at work are really helping them to settle into our new house.”
About: I've worked at a wonderful pet boarding facility for 6 years. I've loved and taken care of many pets in their home or mine throughout the years. I will enjoy meeting with your pets and learning their personalities and quirks! My work is flexible and I can work around your schedule. I am also able to take your dog(s) to work with me if needed and agreeable to you. At work, my office has a dog bed and there is a huge fenced in area safe to let loose to go potty. My co-workers all love dogs and they will certainly be petted and loved. At my house, I have a fenced in yard mostly grass, not huge, but big enough to chase a ball. I have a covered patio perfect for sunning or watching the birds fly by.
About: Experience: I've got over 1000 hours of hands on dog training and handling experience, and I absolutely love anything with four legs (even the hairless ones)! I am very familiar with teaching group dog training classes, and am very well practiced in positive reinforcement training. I've worked with everything from 10 week old puppies all the way up to senior dogs. Pets mental and physical health: I loooove being able to provide enrichment for pets! Enrichment is basically letting your pet interact with the world around them by encouraging them to use their senses, and practice behavior that is innate to them (think running, sniffing, chasing, etc). This not only helps get out their energy, but helps mentally tire them out. Over all it creates a more satisfied pet! I've owned 4 guinea pigs over the years, and am very familiar with their illnesses, health issues, and care. I am comfortable providing some medical care for them, like syringe feedings/medications. If your piggy needs different kinds of medical attention, please let me know when we initially talk. I am more than happy to learn about caring for other exotics (seriously, I learn about animal husbandry for fun). A note: while I am not super familiar with reptiles, I am more than happy to learn to about their care. Daycare and Boarding: Because I practice responsible pet care, I limit my boarding and daycare to one pet family (example: if you have two dogs, I'm only watching those two dogs, and other no dogs from outside your household). This allows me not only the ability to prevent things like potential fights between dogs who don't know each other, but also allows me the ability to give your pups more care and attention. This also explains why my prices may be a bit higher than other sitters. I treat every animal like it's my own and will definitely love yours. I already have two guinea pigs who I love and care for daily. I definitely have to clean up a lot after them! I'm a person who loves to spend time with animals and seek them out I love spending time with animals. One of my favorite parts of training is working with the animal to get to know them and their needs, and fulfilling them with management and enrichment. I love helping animals exercise those brain muscles that they may not otherwise be able to!
“All year, twice per week, Hope has been a reliable caretaker for my dog. She’s consistent and communicative, and my dog loves her! I highly recommend her services. Thank you Hope!”

About: Hi there! I am a part time stay at home mom and part time nanny, full time pet lover! I find a true passion in caring and loving all dogs, cats and other pets too. I have owned pets since I could walk and talk, so I have a ton of experience in walking, feeding, training, playing, bathing, and so on! I am currently offering all services with the exception of no boarding of cats in my own home. However I am very comfortable with them and happy to do so at yours! During the day I also care for my son, who is 3 years old. He loves all pets as well, is very gentle and caring, and will happily join me for walks and drop in visits if booked during the day. Evening and overnight care I will fly solo! As for boarding, my boyfriend, son and I live with our two small dogs who are very friendly and sweet. We have a fully fenced back yard, as well as ample walking space through the neighborhood and multiple nearby parks. I am very patient with animals of all personalities and training levels, gentle, and excited to spend time with new fur friends! I am super flexible in helping you with just about any type of care you may need for your pet(s), so please reach out with any questions, concerns or creative needs! (Also willing to accommodate needs for other pets such as aquatic animals, birds, reptiles, etc! I grew up with a pet piranha!) As a stay at home mom, I am home/available very flexibly during all days except Mondays and Thursdays (when I nanny). I can definitely accommodate overnight boarding that includes Mon/Thurs, however will usually be unavailable from 7:30-4, unless special circumstances require a trip home. I am committed to being trustworthy, reliable, and respectful. Entering another person’s home I strictly follow direction, while maintaining cleanliness and mindfulness. I’d love to meet in advance for any services I can provide in order for you to feel comfortable and secure in allowing me to care for your pet.

About: I have shared my home with dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, and more. Currently my family includes one dog, three cats, and two roosters. All happily rescued and loving life! Growing up our home always included dogs and cats, and any other small animals I insisted on having. Caring for animals is second nature to me and something I deeply love. I currently work remotely for a small nonprofit, where most of my time is spent on the computer. While I enjoy the work, I miss being around animals and am looking to slowly transition back into that world. With flexible hours and a love for pet care, I'm excited to reconnect with what brings me joy. I treat every pet like my own - making sure they feel safe, seen, and loved. Whether it's a walk, playtime, or a quick check-in, I pay close attention to their needs, energy level, and comfort.
“Rebecca was very good with our very shy and stubborn Alusky. She was communicative and gave me a play-by-play scenario as she tried to get Laika to leave the house for a walk. I highly recommend Rebecca. She has previous experience with large breed dogs and it helped with our situation. We will have you back Rebecca!”

“Emily helped us transition a newly adopted rescue dog to our home. She came twice a day to walk him around the property, helping him to learn the boundaries of his new home. He’s a quirky little dog, but he bonded really quickly to her, almost crying each time he saw her. Emily was reliable and sent pictures and updates for each walk. I know she will be helping us again. Thanks, Emily!”
