I reached out to Hope after reading her bio and thought she would be a good fit to walk my malamute mix. Meet and greet went extremely well and I felt comfortable and confident she understood my descriptions and was very kind and personable. My dog did really well with her and I could take my trip with less worry. Highly recommend Hope!!

About: I am a lifelong dog lover. Grew up with dogs, helped raise and train our family puppy, attended training classes, and provide loving, patient, reliable care. As a part-time nanny and online college student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide attentive, dependable pet care. I work as a nanny on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays until 5:00 p.m. in Woodinville, making me available for afternoon and evening walks on those days. On Tuesdays, Fridays, and weekends, I study from home, so I'm available throughout the day for boarding, daycare, drop-in visits, walks, and plenty of companionship. Because I complete my coursework from home, I can spend lots of quality time with the pets in my care rather than leaving them alone for long periods. Dogs have always been part of my life, and I care for every pet as if they were my own. I grew up with dogs, helped raise and train our family puppy, and attended training classes, so I'm comfortable caring for dogs of all ages and personalities. As an online college student, I spend much of my time studying from home, which allows me to provide plenty of companionship, supervision, and attention throughout the day. I live on a peaceful six-acre property with lots of room to explore. While the yard isn't fenced, safety is always my top priority, and I use long training leads and close supervision during outdoor time. I'm an active person who loves long walks, playtime, enrichment activities, and, of course, lots of cuddles. I also have two friendly cats who grew up with dogs and are comfortable around respectful canine companions. Whether I'm caring for your pet in my home or yours, I'll follow their routine, respect their individual needs, and treat them like a member of my own family. I'll also keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can enjoy peace of mind while you're away.

About: I am a lifelong pet owner and have 2 senior dogs and one senior cat. I am comfortable with animals of all kinds and will treat your buddies like my own. I am also able to help if your animals need special care with meds etc. I am self employed so I can easily arrange my schedule to meet your needs. Just let me know what will work best for you! Emily is amazing! She has become our regular dog walker for our reacue pup Yoshi. Because he is a rescue, he came to us very sick. She took his kennel cough on in stride and without my asking she offered to confirm for me that he was passing worms in his stool! Seriously, that is above and beyond!!! I feel as though she cares for him as much as I do - letting me know when his behavior is off and alerting me to his needs. She takes great pictures and communicates well. I was skeptical about giving my house key to someone I didnt know - she set me at ease at our meet and greet and was tje best decision we made after taling Yoshi home. Hire her! She is our go to for midday walks.

About: We have been around animals all our life since living on a small family dairy farm including 4-H as a kid. We can care for all types of animals. We can administrator shots and pills. I am currently working part time with a very flexible schedule. My husband is retired and loves animals as well. So your fur baby will get 2 for 1 as he also loves to care for animals too. Pets are less stressed and relax more when in their own home. While you are away you know your pets are being well cared for in their own environment.

Rebecca was very good with our very shy and stubborn Alusky. She was communicative and gave me a play-by-play scenario as she tried to get Laika to leave the house for a walk. I highly recommend Rebecca. She has previous experience with large breed dogs and it helped with our situation. We will have you back Rebecca!

About: Hi! We’re Julia and RJ — an engaged couple with over 10 years of combined experience caring for dogs and cats. Animals are a huge part of our lives! We share our home with two dogs and a cat, and we know how important it is to have trustworthy, loving care when you’re away. Whether we’re dropping in for kitty visits or providing house sitting for pups, we treat every pet like our own and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. We can’t wait to meet your furry family! As a note: we only provide house sitting, walks, or drop ins at this time. We don’t mingle our pets with our clients and we don’t have the space to board animals here. Rest assured that your pet will receive 100% of our love and care without any additional stressors like adding in new animals or environments. We both work hybrid jobs, with Julia only going in office for a few hours each week, so we have flexible schedules to accommodate your pets needs. We work together so we can take care of our community pets while supporting our little zoo of animals! We work with each client to meet their needs because we know that every pet is unique. If your pet isn’t comfortable with men, Julia will take the lead on providing care (and vice versa). We always start with a meet and greet to understand how best to care for your pet. Whether it’s long walks, sniffaris, or hours of playing with a feather wand, we do everything possible to make this a positive experience.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
