“Hope walks our dog Riggins twice a week and is always on time, consistent, and our dog loves her visits! He usually is an anxiety-ridden dog, but warmed up to Hope so quickly and it was a great relief for us as I started to return to the office. Highly recommend her!”

“As always, Maren took such amazing care of my pup Kathleen on her walks. Her experience with reactive dogs sets Kathleen up for success. Couldn’t recommend her more. Thanks so much Maren!”

“Elizabeth is the best dog walker, I hire her weekly to walk my dog. She is very good with tracking on the app, taking pictures, and updating after the walks. She is friendly and I can tell she takes good care of him. I look forward to continuing working with her!”

About: I have a 9 year old dog, that I have had since she was 2 days old. I know how to raise young puppies and dogs that are older. I have helped multiple friends watch over & care for their pets while they go on extended vacations. I have administered oral and topical medications to dogs and regularly hike with my own dog as well! I volunteered at an animal shelter in Florida and regularly walked and played with all types of dogs I left my current career in pursuit of more free time, so I will be available for all pet care needs! I do have a pet at home, but I am able to travel back and forth as needed since she has support at home from other family members. I love to tire out my dog by playing fetch, hiking, or tug o war. I will never skip a pet session but I know how to watch for a dog’s permission. I will clean up after myself regularly as well as the client’s pet
About: Hi pet parents + fur babies! I have 11+ years of experience working with animals personally and professionally, and almost 7 years of experience with dogs that have behavior or medical challenges. In the past 2 years I have worked closely with many reactive, fearful, shy, rowdy, and stranger-danger dogs. I use positive reinforcement and Fear Free models in any training that I do while with a dog or cat. I have extensive experience with puppies and kittens as well as senior dogs and cats. I have personal experience working with animals with medical issues such as seizures, pain, difficulty walking, and blindness/hearing loss. I feel very comfortable with working with your baby no matter the behavior or medical challenge (and can wrap their medication in however many hot dogs or cheese slices it takes!) If you’ve had trouble lately finding a pet sitter that can handle a rowdy, shy, jumpy, fearful, or medical case pet, I might just be the gal you’re looking for. Send me a message and let’s get to know each other! I am flexible and can work out dates, time and length of stay once we meet and see what works best for you and your baby. Safety is my top priority. (Although snuggles are a close second!) Jokes aside-throughout drop ins or walks, I can make sure your fur baby is in a safe environment while feeding, walking, or providing enrichment.
“Jessica was wonderful! She graciously did drop ins and walks with our energetic Aussie for 7 days, with less than a week’s notice. She is very communicative, sent several photos per visit with a little blurb of what they did. Jessica asked good questions, followed up, and paid close attention to Biscuit and his needs. We will definitely be booking again!”

“Emma has been a big help with our dog, Luna. We reached out to her last minute as I had ankle surgery and was unable to do the daily walks. Emma was available immediately. She is also very patient with our puppy, who was wary of a new person walking her, and Emma understands how dogs work..you have to go with their flow, and not force them. It's been wonderful having Emma to help walk our dog.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Pearson Eddy
Erica is a wonderful dog walker and caregiver. She is patient and kind and my dog loves her. She walked him twice a day all summer. She was reliable and always on time. We would continue to use her if we were not moving out of Woodinville. I highly recommend her.
Erica was great with Harry! She was on time, took him for a walk, and adjusted the walk (and let us know) when she noticed one of his pre-existing scratches had opened up. She also followed his dinner routine perfectly. Would definitely have Erica watch Harry again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
